Sound card stop responding

A few days ago I installed the latest version of Ubuntu in a computer of mine, that it has installed the "Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS".

After the installation and up to yesterday everything was excelent. Yesterday I installed the latest Ubuntu updates and today I had several issues.

First the mouse was not responed as should be, but after restarted my computer everything was fine with mouse.

Next was my sound card. For now I do not have sound at all :( I don't really know what's wrong.

Does anybody has any idea on how to solve that issue, or from where to start, to find a solution ?

If there is no any available solution for that issue, can I remove the latest updates that installed yesterday ?
