I am stuck at the "GNU" screen and I need to know how to get past it

I have had Ubuntu 12.04 for 6 days now and now, for some reason, I am getting the GRUB screen when I try to restart my computer. When I turn it on, it asks me, since I also have Windows 7 on my laptop, if I want to start with windows 7 or Ubuntu.

When I choose Ubuntu, it brings me to the GRUB screen. How do I get to my normal Ubuntu desktop when in my computer appears the next message?
