Steve Blackwell is VP of engineering at Avocent. I had a chance to sit down with Steve during Oracle OpenWorld 2013 to ask him about Avocent's Trellis project, a three-year Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) undertaking built on Oracle Fusion Middleware, including Oracle WebLogic Suite, Oracle Coherence, Oracle Complex Event Processing, and Oracle Service Bus.
