  • Cant find the android keytool

    Hi all I am trying to follow the Android mapping tutorial and got to this part where I had to get an API key http://code.google.com/android/add-ons/google-apis/mapkey.html#getdebugfingerprint I have found my debug.keystore but there does not appear to be a keytool application in the directory: C:\Documents and Settings\tward\.androidls adb_usb.ini avd debug.keystore repositories.cfg androidtool.cfg ddms.cfg default.keyset There is also no keytool in this directory: C:\Android\android-sdk-windows\toolsls AdbWinApi.dll apkbuilder.bat etc1tool.exe mksdcard.exe AdbWinUsbApi.dll ddms.bat fastboot.exe source.properties Jet dmtracedump.exe hierarchyviewer.bat sqlite3.exe NOTICE.txt draw9patch.bat hprof-conv.exe traceview.bat adb.exe emulator.exe layoutopt.bat zipalign.exe android.bat emulator_NOTICE.txt lib I am using eclipse as my editor and believe that I have downloaded all the latest SDK What am I doing wrong?   • Routing for IPSec tunnel

    Hello. For Juniper NetScreen-NS25, I configured a site-to-site IPSec tunnnel. For the outside interface of remote site, I also needed to go through tunnel which has the same IP as IPSec gateway. Now, when I add static route to route that outside interface IP through tunnel while tunnel is up, there would be no problem at all but if the tunnel is down for some reason, it cannot be re-established as the routing for the IPSec gateway IP which is the same as outside interface IP is set to go through tunnel which it needed to re-etablish at that time. So, packets won't hit that IP. I tried adding another routing entry which has metric 2 through other gateway but it did'nt succeeded. So, what type of routing should I configure to reach that IP when tunnel is down. Thanks in advance.

  • Users take over a minute to log onto a 2008 windows server. LSM.exe running at 100MB+ memory.

    We've a 64bit Windows Server 2008 running Remote Desktop. The application lsm.exe (the local session manager) appears to be leaking memory. Although the memory usage is quite low when the server is rebooted, this continues to climb until people can no longer log in. The server has no audio card and does not have any AV software installed. The server is fully service packed. (Service pack 2) What could be causing this, and how would I fix it?

  • Running Hermes Anti-Spam Proxy Alongside Exchange 2003

    I'm looking to implement an anti-spam solution to pre-process email destined for my Exchange 2003 server. I am interested in trying out the Hermes Anti-Spam Proxy product (the price is right) and was wondering if anyone has had any experience in running this alongside their Exchange installation (same physical box).   • Configuring three monitors with two Radeon X1600/X1650 graphics cards under Ubuntu

    I have three SyncMaster 932a monitors I want to use with two Radeon X1600/X1650 cards under Linux. I am running X.org X Server 1.6.0, as provided by Ubuntu's Wubi installer. After turning off mirroring, I ended up with this xorg.conf: Section "Monitor" Identifier "Configured Monitor" EndSection Section "Screen" Identifier "Default Screen" Monitor "Configured Monitor" Device "Configured Video Device" SubSection "Display" Virtual 2560 1024 EndSubSection EndSection Section "Device" Identifier "Configured Video Device" EndSection The left monitor had a menu bar and a task bar, the center monitor was just desktop, and windows would maximize to the current monitor. The third monitor and second graphics card weren't being used at all. I also tried adding Option "Xinerama" "true" to the ServerLayout section. X11 wasn't able to start up. I want to: Allow moving windows along all three monitors. Maximizing only fills the current monitor. Either have menu/task bars on only the left monitor or all three monitors How can I make this possible?

  • Will lock() statement block all threads in the proccess/appdomain?

    Maybe the question sounds silly, but I don't understand 'something about threads and locking and I would like to get a confirmation (here's why I ask). So, if I have 10 servers and 10 request in the same time come to each server, that's 100 request across the farm. Without locking, thats 100 request to the database. If I do something like this: private static readonly object myLockHolder = new object(); if (Cache[key] == null) { lock(myLockHolder) { if (Cache[key] == null) { Cache[key] = LengthyDatabaseCall(); } } } How many database requests will I do? 10? 100? Or as much as I have threads?

  • Getting text after URL in asp.net / URL Rewriting (sort of!)

    My app is a very simple "one page" type app- It has Default.aspx I'm basically trying to get, for example: www.myappurl.com/this is my text I want to get hold of "this is my text" from the above example. This will be displayed on the page (for now) I didn't really want to have to use any complext url rewriting things for this... (My hosting provider uses IIS6) I tried using a 404 handler, but this is a bit long winded, and i'm using shared hosting, that can't set the "execute url" on custom 404 pages. Any other ideas?

  • [jquery] multiple resizables acting strange

    Hi there everyone, I'm trying to place multiple resizable and draggable div's on one page that move (vertically) inside their own parent div. you can take a look at http://bit.ly/bCutBE However, these div's act really strange when I want to resize them, especially from the north side, they kind of move out of the screen very fast, while they shouldn't be able to get outside the parent div. I only want the div to be able to move and resize vertically inside it's parent, the dragging-part works pretty good, but the resize part give this problem. I can't really describe it better than this, but take a look for yourself and it will be clear immediately when you try to resize one of the coloured div's: move it a little downwards and try to resize it from the north side. the problem seems to be caused by the containment: 'parent', line of the resizable. when I delete this line it works fine, but then the coloured blocks don't stay in their parent, and I want them to stay inside their parent. Since tests can usually be run separately. So the result of Create may never be cleaned up by Delete.

Right now the tweetmeme settings show: float: right; margin-left: 10px; What's the best Facebook plugin for this and what settings do I need?   • Django: Filtering datetime field by *only* the year value?

    Hi folks, I'm trying to spit out a django page which lists all entries by the year they were created. So, for example: 2010: Note 4 Note 5 Note 6 2009: Note 1 Note 2 Note 3 It's proving more difficult than I would have expected. The model from which the data comes is below: class Note(models.Model): business = models.ForeignKey(Business) note = models.TextField() created = models.DateTimeField(auto_now_add=True) updated = models.DateTimeField(auto_now=True) class Meta: db_table = 'client_note' @property def note_year(self): return self.created.strftime('%Y') def __unicode__(self): return '%s' % self.note I've tried a few different ways, but seem to run into hurdles down every path. I'm guessing an effective 'group by' method would do the trick (PostGres DB Backend), but I can't seem to find any Django functionality that supports it. I tried getting individual years from the database but I struggled to find a way of filtering datetime fields by just the year value. Finally, I tried adding the note_year @property but because it's derived, I can't filter those values. Any suggestions for an elegant way to do this? I figure it should be pretty straightforward, but I'm having a heckuva time with it. Any ideas much appreciated.

    Say, for example, I've got this simple class: public class MyClass { public String MyProperty { get; set; } } The way to get the PropertyInfo for MyProperty would be: typeof(MyClass).GetProperty("MyProperty"); This sucks! Why? Easy: it will break as soon as I change the Name of the Property, it needs a lot of dedicated tests to find every location where a property is used like this, refactoring and usage trees are unable to find these kinds of access. Ain't there any way to properly access a property? Something, that is validated on compile time? I'd love a command like this: propertyof(MyClass.MyProperty);

  • Internet Explorer cannot 'fully' load ActiveX Control

    Context I am migrating an installer for an ActiveX control from Per-Machine to Per-User. I did this by programming the installer write to HKCU\Software\Classes instead of HKLM\Software\Classes. Problem On my machine (Windows 7 with UAC Enabled), the ActiveX control successfully loads. On the other windows 7 test machines (one with UAC enabled, one with UAC disabled), the control 'partially' loads. What is Partially? When a user visits a page with the ActiveX control, Internet Explorer displays a warning message in a yellow bar on the top of the window. If you click the 'Run add-on' button in the bar, the control becomes visible and begins to run, but Javascript code that tries to access properties of the control return the error: Library not registered. Differences between machines On the dev machine reads from HKCR\CLSID\<GUID> succeed while on the test machines these reads fail. Reads from HKCU succeed on both dev and test machines. Reads from HKLM fail on both test and dev machines. (I collected reads using Sysinternals Process Monitor) Strangely, the keys that Internet Explorer fails to read are clearly visible if I use regedit to view HKCR\CLSID\<GUID> on the test machines. Question What can I do to get the per-user control to load on the test machines? What could cause this difference between the dev machine and the test machines? Why can I see the key in HKCR with RegEdit but Internet Explorer cannot see the key? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
