  Hello, I'm creating one facebook application with FBML. What I want is: I have several images like, <fb:tag name="img"> <fb:tag-attribute name="src">http://My_Img_Url_1.jpg</fb:tag-attribute> </fb:tag> <fb:tag name="img"> <fb:tag-attribute name="src">http://My_Img_Url_2.jpg</fb:tag-attribute> </fb:tag> While I click on the image it should open one popup "post to wall" or "Post to your Friend's wall" with the corresponding image My_Img_Url_n.jpg. • Checking Selected Radio Button after POST

  I've been using ASP.NET controls which perform a lot of the manual for you. But I'm going back to the basics, what everyone else does. I'm using standard input tags. So for example if I have a radio button group and I select a button. When the form submits and does a POST back to whatever action="MyPage.aspx" then to grab and check the radio button's value that was selected is it always done like this below? <label><input type="radio" name="rbGroup" value='<%# ((Action)Container.DataItem).ID %>'/><%# ((Action)Container.DataItem).Name %></label> So here I'm appending the ID to the value. And then when it hits the page that my action specifies, I'm checking to see which was selected by trimming off and getting that ID from the value: string selection = Request.Form["rbGroup"]; string dbRecordIdSelected = int.Parse(selection.Substring(1)); so now I can check the id they selected...that is the ID of the db record that gave that selected radio it's name. Is that how you basically always check what radio was selected by checking the name/value pair that comes across for that selected radioButton group name? And then you can append stuff like IDs or whatever you want to grab and parse out to then do additional logic on the server-side once that header reaches the server and your specified page in the action attribute? The above code is not production code, just something to explain what I'm talking about.

But, this one I can not solve and I don't believe it is that hard compared to the others. Once I did this my form wasn't submitting, I thought this was because of the event I added- if I remove that click event it submits the form successfully. • Radio button is not funtioning

  I'm having problem with my radio button in my gridview. I want to select any row one by one so that I can perform UPDATE, DELETE, and DISPLAY the row. When I select the button, the page will be refreshed and the button I selected before is not selected anymore. So I can't click any menu to update, delete or display the row. I noticed this is happening when I set the Autopostback = "True". How can I solve it? Any idea? • multiple touches: touchend event fired only when a touchmove occurs

  I would like to add some multitouch features to my javascript application when it is accessed from an ios device (and maybe android later). I want to provide a shiftkey-like functionality: the user may hold a button on the screen with one finger, and while this button is pressed, the behavior for a tap action on the rest of the screen is slightly different from the classic tap. The problem i'm running into is that i do not receive any touchend event for the tapping finger unless a touchmove is fired for the first finger holding the shiftkey button. Because the screen is very sensitive, touchmove events gets easily fired and in most cases everything works fine. But when the user's finger is a bit too still, the tapping is not detected until the user moves his finger a bit. This induces a variable 'delay' between the tapping and the action that occurs on the screen (the delay may vary and last a few seconds if the user is very calm). My guess is that this delay will cause the user to tap again and thus fire the action a second time, which is something that i don't want ! You can test it here with your ipad/iphone : http://jsfiddle.net/jdeXH/8/ Try to make the body remain green for a few seconds by holding your finger very still on the cyan div while tapping on the red div. Is this behavior to be expected ? Is there some known workaround for the problem ?   Hello, I have a TextBox that has the TextChanged event set declaratively. In some cases, I want programmatically set this value. In these cases, I want to disable the TextChanged event until I'm done programmatically setting the value. Then, when I'm done, I want to restore the event handler to behave as it was. For a single TextBox, I know I can accomplish this by doing the following: myTextBox.TextChanged -= myTextBox_TextChanged; myTextBox.Text = "[Some Value]"; myTextBox.TextChanged += myTextBox_TextChanged; However, I want to write this functionality into a single method that can be accessed by several methods. For instance, I'm trying to do so something like the following private void UpdateTextValue(TextBox textBox, string newValue) { object eventHandler = textBox.TextChanged; textBox.TextChanged -= eventHandler; textBox.Text = newValue; textBox.TextChanged += eventHandler; } Unfortunately, this approach doesn't work.   I'm trying to redirect windows event log continuously into a file. psloglist.exe has the -w feature (that listens for new events and outputs to console) so I tried combining it with redirection into a file like so: psloglist -w > out.txt It doesn't work. As new events are logged they do not show up in the file. However, if I remove > out.txt new events do shows up in the console!

  Hi I am working on actionscript to generate a SWF dynamically using JSON data coming from an HTTP request. I receive the data on creationComplete and try to generate a tree like structure. I don’t create the whole tree at the same time. I create 2 levels, level 1 and level 2. My goal is to attach custom events on the panels which represent tree nodes. When users click the panels, it dispatches custom events and try to generate the next level. So, it goes like this : On creation complete - get JSON- create top tow levels - click on level 2- create the level 2 and level 3 - click on level 3- create level 3 and 4. …and so on and so on. I am attaching my code with this email. And there is an application installed on device, configured to receive push messages on appropriate port. Everything works well on MDS simulator. But it's not working well in real environment: I have installed BES Express and register several devices. I can browse MDS url with appropriate port, so url is correct.   Hello all, I created a new content type for a wiki page library. I added this content type to library by code (the interface did not allow this). Next, I added an event receiver to this content type (on ItemAdded and ItemAdding). My problem is that no event is trrigered. If I add this events directly to the wiki page library all works fine. Is there a limitation/bug/trick ? Am I missing something here?

If user selects decline, the textbox becomes visible. I want to run validation that when user clicks on submit button, if the decline is selected then the textbox can not blank. • jQuery hold form submit until "continue" button pressed

  I am trying to submit a form, which I have had working, but have now modified it to include a modal jQuery UI box, so that it won't submit until the user presses "continue". I've had various problems with this, including getting the form to hold until that button is pressed, but I think I have found a solution to that, but implementing it, I am getting a SyntaxError which I can't find the source of. With the help of kevin B managed to find the answer was the form was submitting, but the returned JSON response wasn't quite formatted right. The response was that the form wasn't being submitted, so that problem is still occurring. So updated the code with the provided feedback, now need to find out why the form isnt submitting. I know its something to do with the 2nd function isnt recognising the submit button has been pressed, so need to know how to submit that form data without the form needing to be submitted again. • Weirdest occurrence ever, UIButton @selector detecting right button, doing wrong 'else_if'?

Am I missing something here?

• WPF: Asynchronous progress bar

  I'm trying to create a progress bar that will work asynchronously to the main process. I'm created a new event and invoked it however everytime I then try to perform operations on the progress bar I recieve the following error: "The calling thread cannot access this object because a different thread owns it" The following code is an attempt to send an instance of the progress bar to the event as an object, it obviously failed but it gives you an idea of what the code looks like. private event EventHandler importing; void MdbDataImport_importing(object sender, EventArgs e) { ProgressBar pb = (ProgressBar)sender; while (true) { if (pb.Value >= 200) pb.Value = 0; pb.Value += 10; } } private void btnImport_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { importing += new EventHandler(MdbDataImport_importing); IAsyncResult aResult = null; aResult = importing.BeginInvoke(pbDataImport, null, null, null); importing.EndInvoke(aResult); } Does anyone have ideas of how to do this.   Consider the following: dim dropdownlist1 as new dropdownlist dim dropdownlist2 as new dropdownlist dim dropdownlist3 as new dropdownlist dropdownlist1.AutoPostBack = true dropdownlist2.AutoPostBack = true dropdownlist3.AutoPostBack = true AddHandler dropdownlist1.SelectedIndexChanged, AddressOf SomeEvent AddHandler dropdownlist2.SelectedIndexChanged, AddressOf SomeEvent AddHandler dropdownlist3.SelectedIndexChanged, AddressOf SomeEvent The SomeEvent fires as expected when any of the dropdown's selection is changed. However if say DropdownList2 has a selection made then I make a selection with either DropDownList1 or DropdownList3, then SomeEvent fires again. What is causing this behavior and how do I get just a single raising of that event? I suspect that when the viewstate for the dynamcially created dropdownlists is restored and the selection restored, then the event is fired because technically the selected index did change when the control was recreated. The reason I suspect this is that the event fires the for each dropdownlist...
