  • basic javascript DOJO 1.4 installation not working

    I am trying to give the DOJO framework a test spin but some how the latest release does not work at all ( 1.4.2) I keep getting a "console[_8]" [undefined] is not an object error. this is on the demos as well 1.3.3 works fine it seems ( or at least i dont get that error so far) any ideas? I have been using jquery for a while and love it , just looking for something better i guess. does anyone recommend DOJO? thanks

  • Basic SWIG C++ use for Java

    I've programmed a couple years in both C++ and Java, but I've finally come to a point where I need to bring a little unification between the two -- ideally, using SWIG. Firstly, when I want to actually run SWIG initially, am I supposed to use the example_wrap.c (from swig -java example.i) or example_wrap.cxx (from swig -c++ example.i) file when recompiling with my original example.cpp? Or perhaps both? I tried both and the latter seemed most likely, but when I recompile as so: g++ example.cpp example_wrap.cxx -I/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-.../include/ I get a host of errors regarding TcL of all things, asking me for the tcl.h header. I can't even wrap my mind around why it wants that much less needs it, and as such have found myself where I don't even know how to begin using SWIG.

    I've got a variable list of associative arrays that I want to iterate through and retrieve their key/value pairs. I iterate through a single associative array by listing all its keys and getting the values, ie. for key in "${!queue1[@]}" do echo "key : $key" echo "value : ${queue1[$key]}" done The tricky part is that the names of the associative arrays are variable variables, e.g. given count = 5, the associative arrays would be named queue1, queue2, queue3, queue4, queue5. I'm trying to replace the sequence above based on a count, but so far every combination of parentheses and eval has not yielded much more then bad substitution errors. e.g below: for count in {1,2,3,4,5} do for key in "${!queue${count}[@]}" do echo "key : $key" echo "value : ${queue${count}[$key]}" done done Help would be very much appreciated!

The following file name is working fine: /storage/sdcard0/myapp/transfer/Net worth over time _ Forecast (2012-11-19 11070).pdf I tried the following troubleshooting: It's not the overall length of the file name, as if I shorten the base name, the same behavior remains It's not GMail, uploading the file to Google Drive fails similarly 16 characters inside the parentheses work, but not 17 It's not the space character inside the parentheses that causes the issue, as I replaced it with a dash and it's the same problem. Anybody has any ideas on what's going on here?

  • Basic Python While loop compound conditional evaluation

    In Python IDLE Shell it seems I cannot use a compound conditional expression and a while loop. I tried it within brackets too. k=0 m=0 while k<10 & m<10: print k k +=1 m+=1 If I write while k<10: print k k+=1 This does work. Is there a way I could achieve the first block of code with the "and" operator. I have done it in Java. Do I just need to put together "if" statements to achieve the same functionality in Python?

    Hello, I have the following query: SELECT Base.ReportDate, Base.PropertyCode, Base.FirstName, Base.MiddleName, Base.LastName, Person.FirstName, Person.MiddleName, Person.LastName FROM LeaseT INNER JOIN Base ON LeaseT.LeaseID = Base.LeaseID INNER JOIN Person ON LeaseT.TenantID = Person.ID works fine, except there could be 0 to 'N' people in the 'Person' table for each record in the Base table, but I only want to return exactly 1 for each 'Base' record (doesn't matter which, but the one with the lowest Person.ID) would be a reasonable choice. If there is 0 rows in the person table, I still need to return the row, but with null values for the 'person' fields. How would I structure the SQL to do that? Thanks. Edit: Yes, the tables are probably not structured properly, but restructuring at this time is not possible - got to work with what is there.

But, when I run the command hadoop jar Sort.jar SecondarySort inputdir outputdir I am getting a runtime error that says class KeyPartitioner not org.apache.hadoop.mapred.Partitioner. I have ensured that the KeyPartitioner class has extended the Partitioner class, but why am I getting this error?     First and foremost I should acknowledge that I have no experience at all using Java ServerPages, but I'm positive about achieving this task if you guys help me out a bit since it doesn't seem like something difficult for a seasoned JSP programmer. Anyway the thing is, there's an actual running JSP application within a *NIX box which I somewhat administer with kind of good permissions. The idea is to create a new but dead simple JSP page to control some Korn Shell scripts I've got running there. So the goal is to make some sort of HTML form that will be writing some kind of scriptStatus.on / scriptStatus.off file: #!usr/bin/ksh # coolScript.sh # This is my cool script that is being launched by cron every 10 minutes. if [ -e scriptStatus.off ] then # monitor disabled else # monitor enabled fi which then can be checked for existence within the running script, therefore allowing to easily activate / deactivate it without actually have do deal with cron.     I'd like to play around 3d in Flash and I'm wondering how sophisticated objects can i load from 3D Max... cos as i read it's possible to load something from 3d Max I've read that popular 3d engine is Away3d (many tutorials), so if there is nothing better... i'd like to focus on it. I've forgot to mention that i'm not familar with Flash, but the best way to learn something is to do something interesting with it... :) Main question: Can I load object from 3ds and link parts of this object to some actions in Flash.     I've got some code that I wrote that uses a combination of bash and PHP command line scripting. The script is ran as root and then uses su to become various uses. I start a session like this: $result = `su SomeUser ./dothis.php` Here ./dothis.php is a script that may generate some output being stored in $result, but the problem is that there is usually output that doesn't get caught and makes it hard for me to read my script output. How can I make sure that the output is being captured within this su stacking?
