  Hi, I'm having trouble loading JQueryUI from Google's CDN. I've got an ASP.NET application that and am using this to call the scripts: <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.7.2/jquery-ui.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <link href="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8/themes/ui-darkness/jquery-ui.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <script type="text/javascript"> $(function() { $("#accordion").accordion(); }); </script> </asp:Content> I then have a test accordion: <div id="accordion"> <h3><a href="#">First header</a></h3> <div>First content</div> <h3><a href="#">Second header</a></h3> <div>Second content</div> </div> However, this doesn't work. I used Chrome's Dev tool and I get this error: Uncaught Error: The 'accordion' plugin requires Sys.scripts.ExtendedAccordion to be loaded with a call to Sys.require() first I'm also using MS' Ajax CDN in my masterpage, so could that be causing a problem? • Help w/ Sluggish "rake cucumber"

  I've been trying to debug some super slow performance in running my cucumber features. I've run various calls through ruby-prof and think I see the bottlenecks (not too familiar with using ruby-prof) but do not know the cause or more important the solution.   Coming from a SQL Server background, I'm a newbie with regard to HBase, but the technology looks to be a good fit for what we're doing and the cost is definitely right! I need to maintain a list of log entries which normally I would create in an RDBS as: create table Log ( UserID int, SiteID int, Page varchar(50), Date smalldatetime ) where one user may have 0 or 1000 rows in this simple table. Typical queries would be to find all the rows for one user or all the rows for one user on one site. How does this translate into a "map" in HBase where there is no "row key" AND the same (SiteID,Page) may appear many times. My first thought is that UserID is a row key, but I still don't understand "column families" and the other terminology well enough to understand how to setup the table to hold this data where the one UserID can have many (SiteID,Page,Date) "rows". Any direction is appreciated!

I'm using XSLT transformation and the basic idea is to get a part of the XML and subquery it so the calls are faster and less expensive. • Help with editing data in entity framework.

  Title of this question is simple because there is no an easy explanation for what I'm trying to ask you. I hope you'll understand in the end :). I have to tables in my database: Company and Location (relationship:one to many) and corresponding entity sets. In my wpf application I have some datagrid which I want to fill with locations and to be able to edit every row in separate window as some form of details view (so I don't want to edit my data in datagrid). I did this by accessing Location entity from selected row and creating a new Location entity and then I copy properties from original entity to newly created. Something like cloning the object. After editing if I press OK changed data is copied to original object back, and if I press Cancel nothing happens. Of course, you probably thinking I could use NoTracking option and AttachAsModified method as was mentioned as solution in some earlier questions(see:http://stackoverflow.com/questions/803022/changing-entities-in-the-entityframework) by Alex James, but lets say I had some problems about that and I have my own reasons for doing this. Finally, because navigation property(Company) of my location entity is assigned to newly created location object(during cloning) from some reason in object context additional object as copy of object I want to edit from datagrid is created without my will(similar problem :http://blogs.msdn.com/alexj/archive/2009/12/02/tip-47-how-fix-up-can-make-it-hard-to-change-relationships.aspx). So, when I do ObjectContext.SaveChanges it inserts additional row of data into my database table Location, the same as the one i wanted to edit. I read about sth like this, but I don't quite understand why is that and how to block or override this. I hope I was clear as I could. Please, solutions or some other ideas.

  Hi. I am creating a portfolio page for m personal site. I have a slider with a bunch of anchors that relate to projects I have worked on, each one contains a client logo that when clicked should load a html page into a div on the same page. I would like to use JQuery to achieve this my question is which method would I use load() or ajax(). This is not something I have done before so I'm a little confused what the difference is. Also if it makes any difference to my question I will be making the site content managed with MODX very soon. Many thanks in advance.

In it im given a certain value which is called the "gold value" and it is 40.5, this value changes in input. and i have these constants const int RUBIES_PER_DIAMOND = 5; // relative values. * const int EMERALDS_PER_RUBY = 2; const int GOLDS_PER_EMERALDS = 5; const int SILVERS_PER_GOLD = 4; const int COPPERS_PER_SILVER = 5; const int DIAMOND_VALUE = 50; // gold values. * const int RUBY_VALUE = 10; const int EMERALD_VALUE = 5; const float SILVER_VALUE = 0.25; const float COPPER_VALUE = 0.05; which means that basically for every diamond there are 5 rubies, and for every ruby there are 2 emeralds. So on and so forth. and the "gold value" for every diamond for example is 50 (diamond value = 50) this is how much one diamond is worth in golds. my problem is converting 40.5 into these diamonds and ruby values. I know the answer is 4rubies and 2silvers but how do i write the algorithm for this so that it gives the best estimate for every goldvalue that comes along??

  I'm reading Sybex Complete Java 2 Certification Study Guide April 2005 (ISBN0782144195). This book is for java developers who wants to pass java certification. After a chapter about access modifiers (along with other modifiers) I found the following question (#17): True or false: If class Y extends class X, the two classes are in different packages, and class X has a protected method called abby(), then any instance of Y may call the abby() method of any other instance of Y. This question confused me a little. As far as I know you can call protected method on any variable of the same class (or subclasses). You cannot call it on variables, that higher in the hierarchy than you (e.g. interfaces that you implement). For example, you cannot clone any object just because you inherit it. But the questions says nothing about variable type, only about instance type. I was confused a little and answered "true". The answer in the book is False. An object that inherits a protected method from a superclass in a different package may call that method on itself but not on other instances of the same class. There is nothing here about variable type, only about instance type. This is very strange, I do not understand it. Can anybody explain what is going on here?

I wanna keep the same functionality, but wanna be able to open and close a section by clicking on a link, as well as when I'm opening a section, I wan't it to close everything before opening this new section.   In my burgeoning new self-education in the C language, I've come across a set of declarations that I do not understand how to read. I'd love for someone to break these down. I'll explain at the bottom where I got these examples from. 1. char (*(*x())[])() "x: function returning pointer to array[] of pointer to function returning char" - huh? 2. char (*(*x[3])())[5] "x: array[3] of pointer to function returning pointer to array[5] of char" - come again? 3. char **argv This I understand. "Pointer to pointer to char." But what I don't understand is -- what's the use case for a pointer to a pointer? Follow-up question: does anyone every use declarations this complex or is this just academic fun on the part of the authors of the examples I got this from? These examples are from section 5.12 of the K&R book. This is the first time I'm genuinely stumped by an explanation, in an otherwise well-written classic. Thanks.

  Hey there, I just wanted to build my App for submitting it to the AppStore - it includes the widely used three20 framework. As the Debug Versions on the Dev-Devices worked great, i'm having trouble compiling the project for distribution. XCode says: No architectures to compile for (ONLY_ACTIVE_ARCH=YES, active arch=armv6, VALID_ARCHS=i386). Any idea what's happening there? I've tried to google it, but i haven't found a solution yet.
