Hi friends,
document.getElementId(id).style.display ='table-cell'. this gives error message in ie, this is ie bug or any other solutions please give any other solutions
It sometimes happens to me that I forget to include a file in a changeset (i.e. a commit of a number of changed files that belong together, e.g. "Fixes bug #45")
I will usually just make a second commit with the same commit message.
Is there a clever and simple way to add the "latecomer" to the first commit somehow? Without svn dumping and svndumpfilter ing?
Hi all,
I have a strange bug. I create a qx.ui.table.Table and if not all specified columns fit into window (horizontal scroll appear) my browsers (firefox 3.5.6 and chrome 5.0.344) hangs. If i just set width for window large (e.g. from 600px to 800px) - all works fine.
May be I'm doing something wrong? Or how can I fix/avoid this 'strange' behaviour?
Faced problem while setting background color for any element in Visual Studio 2010 editor. Selection color doesn't override this background color. So then it's very inconvenient to work with selections in editor.
Case when only string literal is selected it's almost impossible to distinguish colors and see what part of string is selected.
Is there any possibility to fix the problem by changing some options? Or it's a Visual Studio bug?
I'm about to develop my own browser inconsistency/bug compendium site but I'm wondering if I really need to - can we get a wiki of sites that do this already? I'm aware of a lot of them but I hope I'm not missing out on some major ones.
I wanted mine to be more intuitive and social-like for most people, powered by tags and screenshots and test-case pages.
I just got a bug report from someone running an app I wrote under Windows XP. He says it won't start up.
The application failed to initialize
properly (0xc0150002). Click on OK to
terminate the application.
It works fine at my end, (under Windows 7,) and I don't have any Win7- or Vista-specific stuff in the program, so it should work on XP too. How do I go about tracking this down and debugging it?
Plus, The program runs on a arm device running Linux, I can print out stack info and register values in the sig-seg handler I assign.
The problem is I can't add -g option to the source file, since the bug may won't reproduce due to performance downgrade.
In the hope of fixing a bug of mine from another post i would like to know why apple writes this (for it's Elements example)
UIView *localContainerView = [[UIView alloc] initWithFrame:[[UIScreen mainScreen] applicationFrame]];
self.containerView = localContainerView;
[localContainerView release];
instead of the simpler method:
containerView = [[UIView alloc] initWithFrame:[[UIScreen mainScreen] applicationFrame]];
?
I'm trying to programatically add a series to a Dundas TreeMap but I'm getting a Object reference not set to an instance of an object. error. This error looks to be a bug in Dundas, but I was wondering if anyone has tried/managed to do this?
If I add the series in declaratively then at all works fine.
Does anyone know a solution to this problem? I'm unable to open a subdirectory within a symboliclink'd directory. I've confirmed that the paths are correct (even copy & pasted the path into explorer, which parsed it fine). This is a strange, annoying, bug :|.
Example:
C:\folder\symbolic_link\dir1\dir2 - opening dir2 fails.
C:\folder\symbolic_link\dir1 - works
C:\folder\real_directory\dir1\dir2 - works
C:\folder\real_directory\dir1 - works
In one web page we use a flash upload control but becouse a flash bug in the upload event the session is lost as its posted back with a new session.
We have tought of using a table with ip and old session id or a query string with the old session id in order to reassing it in the uploaded event...
Knowing the old session id how can i reassign it to the client? (In C#)
For small-to-large teams developing software together, what tools are used to form a comprehensive team development framework?
Specifically, I'm looking for a comprehensive list of all the individual functions involved (e.g. source control, bug management, testing tools, project management), not specific product recommendations. I'm also not restricting the list to a particular methodology (e.g. Scrum).
I have read this question and I'm still not sure whether it is possible to keep pointers to methods in an array in Java, if anyone knows if this is possible or not it would be a real help. I'm trying to find an elegant solution of keeping a list of Strings and associated functions without writing a mess of hundreds of 'if's.
Cheers
edit-
'functions' changed to 'methods', seems to bug people.
I'm looking at a database dump file, and I see many records in various tables with their version number set in values other than 0 (even 94 in one case). I understand it has to do with hibernate locking strategy, but my concern is that today is Sunday, and the site has almost no visitors so is: is this normal ? Or is there a known hibernate bug or even some programming malpractice producing this ?
I'd like to be able to have multiple "sets" of open files in netbeans but i didn't find a way or plugin to do it.
Say i have 5 file related to "bug xyz" but i want to start working on feature "abc". Instead of having 10 files open i'd like to be able to say "create new set of files" and work on those and switch back and forth.
Is there some way it netbeans to achieve this ?
Not sure if this is a bug or if i'm just missing something but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get my cursor back in the winforms designer in visual studio 2010.
I opened up an existing project and added a group box, now my cursor is stuck drawing group boxes. I just want the simple pointer cursor back but nothing I do seems to bring it back.
I almost expected it to be on the toolbox under "Cursor" but its not.
We were using FFmpeg which is free. And when a bug occurred that broke the system, a previous developer installed PandaStream.
My question is, what do you recommend for quality video encoders?
Is it best to stick with ffmpeg and keep it free, or does a small website really need a heavy duty service like Panda?
I check my code into a GIT branch every few minutes or so, and the comments end up being things like "Everything broken starting again" and other absurdities.
Then every few minutes/hours/days I do a serious checkin with a real comment like, "Fixed bug #22.55, 3rd time." How can I separate these two concepts? I would like to be able to remove all my frequent-checkins and just leave the serious ones.
Running a (seg)faulty native windows binary from within a cygwin shell leads to restart the binary for several times. Since I want to analyze the bug I activated windbg as the post mortem debugger (yes, as administrator), but somehow cygwin interferes and windbg does not get triggered.
OS: 64bit Windows7 (happened on WindowsXP as well), Cygwin 1.7.x
I have a team developing software in MS Visual Studio and now they want to start using MS Team Foundation Server, mainly for versioning and maybe patch and bug tracking.
They don't have any experience with MS Team Foundation Server, but they are very enthusiastic with MS products.
So whats the best free open source alternative solution? Git, SVN, CVS, Bugzilla, plugins, etc.
i just went to test a website in firefox 4 (beta 10) and the horizontal menu is showing up vertically.
Here is the website: http://www.fsf60k.org/
In chrome, the menu is horizontal like this:
but in firefox 4 it shows up like this:
I am using the superfish horizontal menu. The examples on the website seems fine in firefox 4.
how would i begin to investigate if this is a bug in firefox 4 or is there something wrong with my horizontal menu code??
We're trailing the use of the built in bug tracking, and have written some integration into our helpdesk software that allows for escalation via workitems.
One thing I haven't found out how to do, is to merge all changes associated with a work item (say to go from dev branch to main) - I appreciate you can double click on a changeset in the merge dialog to view if it is associated with a workitem, and also that I can select individual changesets, and groups of adjacent changesets; but there doesn't appear to be any way to merge changes by workitem?

Is this a ruby bug?
target_url_to_edit = target_url
if target_url_to_edit.include?("http://")
target_url_to_edit["http://"] = ""
end
logger.debug "target url is now #{target_url}"
This returns target_url without http://
