• Is it possible to add an item to the copy paste menu in an iPhone application?

  I have several reference apps, and I'd like to be able to let my users "highlight" text. A reasonably good way to do this, to me, seems to be to modify the "copy/paste" contextual popup menu to add "highlight." If there's a way to do this, I'd like to know how. If there isn't a way, suggestions would be appreciated. My text is viewed in a UIHtmlView.

  I am struggling with creating various brushes to fill in various shapes or as a background. Here are some patterns I am struggling with creating: <<<< <|<|<|<|||| //////// \\\\ |||||||| I've been able to create the \\\, //////, and |||||| with a linear gradient, but the first two are causing me issues. BTW, the second one is a triangle. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

• Date type in oracle does not include time values

  I have a PHP application using an Oracle XE database. Whenever I add a date the hours minutes, and seconds seem to get left out. Is there some special format, or type I should use to be able to store this? I have tried using to_date, and specifying the format I am using.   hi to all! I have an array of products $products = array_count_values($products); now I have an array where $key is product number and $value is how many times I have such a product in the array. I want to sort this new array that product with the least "duplicates" are on the first place, but what ever I use (rsort, krsort,..) i loose product numbers (key). any suggestions? thanks.

  Hello, I backed up my db with mysqldump from phpMyAdmin. Using MySQL 5.0.22. Made no changes to database file. Import fails. Found many instances of extra spaces using notepad, but now cannot find any other such extraneous spaces. Error is 1064. Any suggestions on how to import file properly? Thanks.

  I have a 4MB log file from the Windows XP firewall which I'm trying to find lines that have both DROP and an IP and a port number. My regex-fu is weak and I'm assuming this is the reason I'm struggling. The words "DROP", "10.1.1.1" (for example) and "8801" need to be found on the same line and may be spread across the line and separated by one or more other words. Any help (or suggestions of another method to do this) are much appreciated.
