    I have downloaded ics 4.0.3 source code, want to modify native settings, what i have to do is 1) add custom modifications to the settings 2) recompile native settings with added modifications 3) build the source code 4) generate a customized build to work on all android devices. Each application runs fine and I can link between apps using absolute URLs. Is there some way I can use or extend the URL helper class (functions like anchor(), redirect()... etc.) to generate links to controllers across applications. I would like to avoid absolute URLs Thanks!

  • Random number from a range in a Bash Script

    Hi, I need to generate a random port number between 2000-65000 from a shell script. The problem is $RANDOM is only a 16bit number, so im stuck! PORT=$(($RANDOM%63000+2001)) would work nicely if it wasn't for the size limitation. Does anyone have an example of how I can do this, maybe by extracting something from /dev/urandom and getting it within a range? Thanks.

  • Unique text field in MySQL and php

    I've created a salt using; md5(rand(0,10000000)); (there is probably a better way?) There doesn't seem to be possible to make a text field unique in MYSQL. So how do I check if the salt has already been used for a previous user? Or should I generate the salt based on the current date/time? as it is impossible for 2 users to register at exactly the same time correct?

I've already come up with these ideas: Print out the program's input Calculator Generate Prime numbers, Fibonacci series What other interesting programming problems do you have for me to test? It would be good if they required the language to solve a broad spectrum of task, take prime numbers for example: You need variables, increment them, divide them, perform actions under certain conditions, etc.

    I am using Doxygen to generate some API docs for a C# project I am working on. I have quite a bit of "internal" functionality in this project and don't want Doxygen producing these signatures in the generated html it produces. I have tried enabling HIDE_FRIEND_COMPOUNDS but this still results in my internal classes being exposed in the generated documentation. Does anyone know how to do this?

  • Missing symbol names when profiling IPhone application with Instruments.

    I am compiling an IPhone application via command line (so no XCode options involved) and I am unable to get my symbol names to show when profiling with Instruments. I have tried several flags such as -gdawrf-2 and -g without any success. I have also tried using dsymutils to generate a .dSYM file but i have no clue how I'm supposed to use it so that failed aswell. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Ideally I'd like to be able to label sections of a report by which function is being used to generate the results. So are there any nice ways of getting the name of a predefined function as a string?
