    I am using Three20/TTThumbsviewcontroller to load photos. I am struggling since quite a some time now to fix memory leak in setting photosource. I am beginner in Object C & iOS memory management.     why isnt my object being created? When I do it like so, I am told error C2065: 'AllReferrals' : undeclared identifier as well as error C2228: left of '.push_back' must have class/struct/union. I have tried something like this: return session.Linq<Enquiry>() .Where(enquiry => enquiry.Created < DateTime.Now) .Select(enquiry => enquiry.Sender) In this case I get an InvalidCastException saying you can't cast type Sender to type Enquiry. Any pointers on how I can do this without using HQL?

    Could someone explain this (strange) behavior? Why is the length in the first example 3 and not 2, and most importantly, why is the length in the second example 0? As long as the keys are numerical, length works. When they are not, length is 0. How can I get the correct length from the second example?   • How to access a field's value in an object using reflection

    My Question: How to overcome an IllegalAccessException to access the value of a an object's field using reflection. Expansion: I'm trying to learn about reflection to make some of my projects more generic. I'm running into an IllegalAccessException when trying to call field.getValue(object) to get the value of that field in that object. I can get the name and type just fine. If I change the declaration from private to public then this works fine. But in an effort to follow the "rules" of encapsulation I don't want to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!     I'm revising this question after reading the resources mentioned in the original answers and working through implementing it. I'm using the google maps api to integrate a map into my Rails site. I have a markets model with the following columns: ID, name, address, lat, lng. On my markets/index view, I want to populate a map with all the markets in my markets table. I'm trying to output @markets as json data, and that's where I'm running into problems. I have the basic map displaying, but right now it's just a blank map. I'm following the tutorials very closely, but I can't get the markers to generate dynamically from the json. Any help is much appreciated!     Hi, I'm having a little problem changing members of an object in a list using a found index. I check if the item fits in and if it does, I see if there is another item of the same name in the list, find the index, and add more of the item. However, the quantity of the item added suddenly becomes the same as the quantity of the item in the list. For some reason, this also changes the quantity of the item outside of the list. So therefore, instead of quantities adding up like this: 1, 2, 3, 4, they add up like this: 1, 2, 4, 8. I've just started to learn how to use lists so if there is anything I'm missing, don't hesitate to criticize. Thanks in advance.

I'd like to pass the value in :current_question to a link_to_remote call in _old_question_tags.haml: #{link_to_remote image_tag('red-x.png', {:alt => "Remove #{t.name} tag"}), :url => {:action => 'remove_old_tag_from_question', :tag_remove => t.id, :current_question => current_question}} But I get this error on the link_to_remote line: ActionView::TemplateError (undefined local variable or method `current_question' for #<ActionView::Base:0xdb2fec8>) In _old_question_tags.haml, if I just print current_question (using =current_question), it prints the number without any problems. How do I properly pass that value to the partial so that I can pass it to the link_to_remote call?

Has anyone run across this?

The aim is to be able to replace HTML tags in the template e.g.; <!-- component:customer-login --> with; <?php component_customer_login(); ?> I also need to call pre-render methods of the "Customer" class to validate forms before output is made etc. If anyone can think of a better way, please let me know but in the first instance, I'd like to know why I get the "Fatal error" mentioned above.
