• NSTableView not refreshing when calling method from different class

  I have a table view that gets refreshed two different ways. One is through a button and the other is when I call my refresh method, which is the same method that I use for the button, but for some reason, when I hit the button it works, but when I call it through a different class it doesn't. • CListBox... double-clicking makes it scroll back to top?

  In a custom subclass of CListBox, if I scroll down it sometimes gets into a weird state where double-clicking on a list item causes the list to scroll all the way back to the top. I have no double-click handler so I'm a bit confused what might be going on, any ideas?

• Mipmapping issue with textures rendered on to a flat quad (OpenGL)

  I am having what seems to be a mipmapping problem when rendering textures on to a flat quad. At some camera positions the object looks fine, but then at others it gets very fuzzy. Unfortunately I don't really have any good leads on this problem but I thought if I posted some pictures other who have experiences other issue might be able to give me some insight.   After reading this thread: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2792932/nsuserdefaults-not-present-on-first-run-on-simulator I know it's quite easy to store some app data in the [NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults]. But if other applications also happen to use the same key to store their data, is this possible that my app data gets overwritten? Many thanks to you all.

  I was wondering what happens to the code contained in an <mx:Script> tag. If I define a function tehre, it just becomes a member function of the generated class. But I noticed that it seems OK for the compiler if I just write some (static) method calls there (specifically, I call Font.registerFont()). I feel kind of guilty for doing this, because I have no idea what's really happening and when the code gets executed.

  Hi, given a plain text file, how can I do, using bash, awk, sed, etc, to, at the line number NLINE, add the string STR, just n spaces after the end of the line?   Windows has a go at it but only gets a few when i seach a directory. Is there an IDE or similar that allows for searching within the files of an entire directory? for example, if I need to make sure no files require to a redundant class (old_class.php) I'd like to search for 'old_class.php' or alternatively if anyone knows a way to do this in Aptana (my text editor of choice) that would be amazing...

• Is canvas security model ignoring access-control-allow-origin headers?

  It seems that even if you set the access-control-allow-origin header to allow access from mydomain.org to an image hosted on domain example.org, the canvas' origin-clean flag gets set to false, and trying to manipulate that image's pixel data will trigger a security exception. Shouldn't canvas' obey the access-control-allow-origin header and allow access to image's data without throwing an exception?
