    Hi there guys! I'm starting out learning some ASP.Net programming and I'm going to be making a little community website for my friends and myself. I'm trying to pick up some good habits along the way. I was thinking of having a usercontrol and have that 'loginBox' shows the appropriate textboxes and login button, but also show his username when he is logged in. Do you think I should handle this as a user control or am I missing something as an ASP.Net newbie?

    In the dealloc method for a class how would I print out the ID (or some other unique identifier) for the instance being deallocated? - (void)dealloc { NSLog(@"_deallocing: ??"); [super dealloc]; } Is this possible?     Hello all, Since a few months I've been learning Erlang, and now it was time to do some basic GUI. After some quick research I saw there was an interesting library called 'wxi' (based on Fudgets of Haskell) which uses a different approach on GUI's. No central loop, every widget processes it's own events and handles it's own data. What do you guys think about this?   • Resizing canvas, where's the problem?

    I'll post a link since theres to much to post here: http://hem.bredband.net/noor/canvas.htm My goal is to make the picture fit inside the window with the width of the image being the same as the window, even after resize. If the pictures height becomes to big for the window then the picture should resize itself according to the height and not the width. Somewhere along my code there is something wrong.. forgive me if this is stupid, i am still learning.. Thanks!

    Sorry if this is quite noobish to you, but I'm just starting out to learn Python after learning C++ & Java, and I am wondering how in the world I could just declare variables like id = 0 and name = 'John' without any int's or string's in front! I figured out that perhaps it's because there are no ''s in a number, but how would Python figure that out in something like def increase(first, second) instead of something like int increase(int first, int second) in C++?!
