Clearly I'm going to frequently hit resource limits for my graphics controller, so was wondering if there's a nice way to run the shaders on the CPU, just to test them.   • Ruby: How can I have a Hash take multiple keys?

    I'm taking 5 strings (protocol, source IP and port, destination IP and port) and using them to store some values in a hash. The problem is that if the IPs or ports are switched between source and destination, the key is supposed to be the same. If I was doing this in C#/Java/whatever I'd have to create a new class and overwrite the hashcode()/equals() methods, but that seems error prone from the little I've read about it and I was wondering if there would be a better alternative here.

    Just wondering if it's possible to get Elmah to log 404s that aren't picked up by the ASP.NET framework - i.e. the 404s that IIS spots and replies to. Presumably this would involve some kind of entry in IIS - web site properties - Custom Errors tab. Can't find any reference on how to do this.

Is it posible to read a pdf file and extract its pages for using them, or if i have to directly convert the pages to png and use them.   • Correct way to persist Quartz triggers

    I'm quite new to Quartz and now I need to schedule some jobs in Spring Web App. I know about Spring + Quartz integration (I'm using Spring v 3.1.1) but I'm wondering if it's the right way to follow. In particular I need to persist my scheduled tasks in a DB so I can re-initialize them when application is restarted. Are there some utilities provided by Spring scheduling wrapper to do this? Can you suggest me some "well known" approach to follow?

    I'm developing a form generator, and wondering if it would be bad mojo to store JSON in an SQL database? I want to keep my database & tables simple, so I was going to have `pKey, formTitle, formJSON` on a table, and then store {["firstName":{"required":"true","type":"text"},"lastName":{"required":"true","type":"text"}} in formJSON. would this slow down the DB server too much to set live?
