  Hi All, I ahve created database connection with SQLite using JDBC in java. My sql statements execute properly. But sometimes I get the following error while i use conn.commit() java.sql.SQLException: SQL logic error or missing database Can anyone please help me how to avoid this type of problem. • WCF Manual SOAP POST using HttpWebRequest over https with Usertoken

  Hi, I'm writing a client that calls a number of WCF webservices (written externallyt to my company) that are very similar in structure. The design I was hoping to use is to manually build the SOAP message from XML chunks that are stored in a database and then processed through a generic web service handler class. I have access to the WSDL's for each webservice and example working XML. The design approach is such that we can easily add to the message dynamically, hence the reason for not using the auto generated proxy classes I am basically at the last part now with the entire SOAP message constructed but am getting a SOAP fault security error returned. I have used fiddler to compare the message I'm sending with one that is sent using the normal (far simpler...) WCF generated proxy classes and can't see any difference apart from the id attribute of the Usertoken element in the SOAP header. This is where my lack of experience in this area isn't helping. I think this is because the id is generated automatically (presumably because we're using https). My question is how do I generate this programatically? I have searched for hours online but the majority of solutions are either using the proxy classes or not over https. I have briefly looked at WCE but aware this is replaced by WCF now so don't want to waste time looking into this if it's not the solution. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I can post some code examples when I'm back in work if it will help but the method I'm using is very straightforward and only using XElements and such like at the moment (as we're using linq to sql). thanks, Andy

• WCF Datacontract, some fields do not deserialize

  Problem: I have a WCF service setup to be an endpoint for a call from an external system. The call is sending plain xml. I am testing the system by sending calls into the service from Fiddler using the RequestBuilder. The issue is that all of my fields are being deserialized with the exception of two fields. price_retail and price_wholesale. What am I missing? All of the other fields deserialize without an issue - the service responds. It is just these fields. • Error with perl script using module Mail::Sendmail

  I am using below code to connect to SMTP server where authentication is required for connection. While executing script I am getting an error message saying "Error sending mail: Connection error from mail.utiba.com on port 465 ()". However the connection to the mail server is working fine, I can connect to the mail server using other mail clients. Please suggest what I am doing wrong here. • Nested/Child TransactionScope Rollback

  I am trying to nest TransactionScopes (.net 4.0) as you would nest Transactions in SQL Server, however it looks like they operate differently. I want my child transactions to be able to rollback if they fail, but allow the parent transaction to decide whether to commit/rollback the whole operation. However, I'm wondering how I will realize that something is missing if I happen to do the "git commit" but forget to export it to the CVS server. Is there a reasonable way to get a diff between my git repository and the CVS server, so I would know that something hadn't been committed all the way through? Or perhaps there's a better method of doing this altogether?

• DELETE and EDIT is not working in my python program

  This is a simple python program that ADD, DELETE, EDIT and VIEW student records. The problem is, DELETE and EDIT is not working. I dont know why but when I tried removing one '?' in the DELETE dunction, I had the error that says there are only 8 columns and it needs 10. But originally, there are only 9 columns. • .xcodeproj does not get committed with XCode's SCM Tool

  I am using the SCM Tools embedded in XCode to manage my app's versioning. I have created an iPhone app and I have added/committed it to the Subversion server but the .xcodeproj file won't upload (all the class files, resources etc are there)! I don't even get the option to "Add to Repository". Sometimes it gets an "A" (add) next to it under the "SCM" column but still, the next time I commit changes or commit entire project it still doesn't upload and show up on the server. As a result my team can't get and run the project. Is there a way to so something (other than just use the terminal or Versions)? Thank you.

  Hi I have developed a Flash Video player in Flash CS3 with Action Script 2.0 to play video from Adobe Flash Media Server 3.5. To play video from FMS 3.5, first I have to verify my swf file on FMS 3.5 server console so that it can be ensure that RTMP video URL only be play in verified SWF file. Right now I am facing problem of "NetConnection.Connect.Close" when I try to connect my NetConnection Object to FMS 3.5 to stream video from that server. So now I am getting this message "NetConnection.Connect.Close" from FMS 3.5. When this is happening in my office area at the same time when I am checking the the same video url from out side the office (With help of my friends who is in another office) area it is working fine. My friends naver faced even a single issue with NetConnection.Connect.Close. But in my office when I got message NetConnection.Connect.Close, I can play another streaming video very well like mtv.com jaman.com rajshri.com etc. Some time FMS works fine and video starts playing but in the middle of the video same thing happen "NetConnection.Connect.Close" There is no issue of Bandwidth in my office. I do't know why this is happening. Please see the message when I am getting "NetConnection.Connect.Close" message. • Seperation of notification confirmation+storage and handling notification asp.net mvc

  After a payment from my web application to a 3rd party the 3rd party sends, next to the direct confirmation message, a notification message. This notification message is stored in my database for future use and I have to send a notification confirmed back. For this purpose I currently use a: return Content("received") Which is standard protocol for the service. Currently, I process the incoming notification by first storing it, than handling it (updating account credits etc in my application) and in the end sending a response. This all works well. But I want to seperate handling the notification and storing+responding to the webservice. The problem is that the "return Content()" is ending my controller method and therefore I cannot simply first send the confirmation message back to the webservice and than call my handle_Notification() method. So the solution would be to replace the return Content() part with something equal which doesn't involve a "return", is this possible, as I do not now the complete URL calling I cannot easily create a simple HTTP POST web request (I tried, might have made an error but did not work). Another solution would be to have some kind of timer or listener which either periodically checks for new notifications in the Database which have to be handled or a listener listening to DB new notifications or something. What is the standard procedure on this, if any?

  Hello, this is my first post on stackoverflow...i hope someone can help me i have a big performance regression with Java 6 LinkedBlockingQueue. In the first thread i generate some objects which i push in to the queue In the second thread i pull these objects out. The performance regression occurs when the take() method of the LinkedBlockingQueue is called frequently. I monitored the whole program and the take() method claimed the most time overall.   My problem is this: I want to create a grails domain instance, defining the 'Many' instances of another domain that it has. • Use spring tag in XSLT

  I have a XSL/XML parser to produce jsp/html code. Using MVC model I need to accees spring library in order to perform i18n translation. Thus, given the xml <a> ... <country>EN</country> ... </a> and using <spring:message code="table_country_code.EN"/> tag, choose based on the browser language, the transalation into England, Inglaterra, etc... However, the XSL do not support <spring:message> tag. The idea is to have a XSLT with something like this <spring:message code="table_country_code.><xsl:value-of select="country"/>"/>` I also tried to create the spring tag in Java when I make a parse to create the XML but I sill have the same error.   Hi, I have been using the ASP.NET chart controls for a while on win2k3 (32bit) setups without any issue but have noticed that on our new win2k8 (64bit) box I am getting a warning message showing up in the event viewer from the chart control. • Question about SQL Server HierarchyID depth-first performance

  I am trying to implement hierarchyID in a table (dbo.[Message]) containing roughly 50,000 rows (will grow substantially in the future). However it takes 30-40 seconds to retrieve about 25 results. The root node is a filler in order to provide uniqueness, therefor every subsequent row is a child of that dummy row. I need to be able to traverse the table depth-first and have made the hierarchyID column (dbo.[Message].MessageID) the clustering primary key, have also added a computed smallint (dbo.[Message].Hierarchy) which stores the level of the node. Usage: A .Net application passes through a hierarchyID value into the database and I want to be able to retrieve all (if any) children AND parents of that node (besides the root, as it is filler). A simplified version of the query I am using: @MessageID hierarchyID /* passed in from application */ SELECT m.MessageID, m.MessageComment FROM dbo.[Message] as m WHERE m.Messageid.IsDescendantOf(@MessageID.GetAncestor((@MessageID.GetLevel()-1))) = 1 ORDER BY m.MessageID From what I understand, the index should be detected automatically without a hint. From searching forums I have seen people utilizing index hints, at least in the case of breadth-first indexes, as apparently CLR calls may be opaque to the query optimizer. I have spent the past few days trying to find a solution for this issue, but to no avail. I would greatly appreciate any assistance, and as this is my first post, I apologize in advance if this would be considered a 'noobish' question, I have read the MS documentation and searched countless forums, but have not came across a succinct description of the specific issue.

• DrScheme versus mzscheme: treatment of definitions

  One long term project I have is working through all the exercises of SICP. I noticed something a bit odd with the most recent exercise. I am testing a Huffman encoding tree. When I execute the following code in DrScheme I get the expected result: (a d a b b c a) However, if I execute this same code in mzscheme by calling (load "2.67.scm") or by running mzscheme -f 2.67.scm, it reports: symbols: expected symbols as arguments, given: (leaf D 1) My question is: why? Is it because mzscheme and drscheme use different rules for loading program definitions?
