    Is there an excel feature that enables you to create a link to a different part of a sheet so you don't have to scroll down ... wherever, to get there ? I have about 2000 tables in one sheet, and some "table of contents" listing all the tables. I'd like to create a link from the table of contents to the appropriate table (it's all within the same sheet). Is something like that possible ?

  • is it possible to synchronize the states of TCP proxies in real time (for real-high-availability of SLB)?

    Consider that there are two server load balancers working in the tcp proxy mode (e.g., for L7 load balancing). Is it possible to synchronize their states in real time so that they can be a backup for each other? in case that one is down, the other still has all necessary states to uninterruptedly support all existing TCP connections. I understand that this is hard, but I am wondering whether any free/commercial LB already supports this feature. Thank you!

    I have Windows Server 2012 Essentials and I'm trying to set up Anywhere Access so I can remotely access files.  This feature was really easy to access in Windows Home Server and I'm trying to duplicate that functionality here.   I've tried going through the Anywhere Access wizard several times but I can't get past the SSL Certificates step.  I don't want to purchase a certificate; is there any other way to enable remote file access?

  • Reading Hindi (Devanagari) on Windows XP SP1

    Pretty much all the text that I have read on enabling Hindi (Complex Text Rendering) involve enabling it via Regional Settings Languages Install files for complex script support and left to right languages (including Thai). However, I am able to read Wikipedia without having this feature enabled. Is this normal or is this an anomaly with my Win XP SP1 CD?

  • How can I configure desktop notification display time in Google Chrome?

    Recently Gmail introduced an HTML5-based desktop notification feature for Google Chrome users (see this). It's very useful, however, the notifications disappear too quickly (in about 5 seconds) and I couldn't find a way to change the display time. Ideally, I would like the notification to stay for a few minutes if there is no user activity (or about 15 seconds if there is user activity). Is that possible?

  • Multiline select in notepad++

    In sublime text if I perform a find for an occurrence of a particular word not only is this occurrence found but it also selected and has the cursor at the end of each occurrence so that pushing the right arrow key the cursor will move the cursor to the beginning of each occurrence simultaneously so that I can perform whatever operation I wish on all the selections. Does notepad++ have something similar to this feature? I know that I can multi-line select by Ctrl+ mouse click, but I just wanting to know of an automated so to speak way of doing this in notepad++

I need free email service of GApps the most, so I decided to give a go to "Send mail as" feature of a regular Gmail account and add my domain emails to that personal Gmail. So that they would have to input a valid administrator password first before they can access the file? I've seen a feature like this in Ubuntu, wherein even the administrator has to input the password over and over just to access a certain drive. But I need it in Windows XP.

    I would like to rent a remote computer, like a virtual Vista or Windows 7 desktop, and run everything on it and access it with RDP (fastest). It could be virtual (running on Xen or Hyper-V) and the price needs to be right. Windows 7 to Windows 7 has nice RDP offload feature and doing stuff in the cloud is fast. Anywhere I could rent something like that? I've been using Amazon and CloudLayer, but they are optimized for server versions of Windows.

    I recorded a some audio files on my powerpoint presentation. This was done in two ways: (1) for some slides I used the record narration feature of powerpoint (the audio on each slide was recorded separately) and, (2) for others I used audacity to record the audio, which I imported into powerpoint. I need to extract the audio file from each slide. I need to send just the audiofiles to someone. Is there a way I can extract the audiofiles? Thanks

  • Can I automatically map chrome's bookmarks bar to its jump list?

    I would like the contents of my bookmarks bar to be present in my Google Chrome jump list, without the manual tedium of managing both the bar's organization and contents and those of the jump list. If it's possible to automatically manage jump lists in such a way as to make this possible, I'd be delighted. I don't think I'm quite ready to attempt programming an extension thus myself. edit: it appears this is not possible. I have submitted the feature as a request to the chrome team.

  • psloglist -w into a file

    I'm trying to redirect windows event log continuously into a file. psloglist.exe has the -w feature (that listens for new events and outputs to console) so I tried combining it with redirection into a file like so: psloglist -w > out.txt It doesn't work. As new events are logged they do not show up in the file. However, if I remove > out.txt new events do shows up in the console!

I can think of three ways to do this 1) DB Triggers 2) Hibernate interceptors 3) Spring AOP (This question is specific to a Spring\Hibernate\RDBMS- I guess this is neutral to java\c# or hibernate\nhibernate- but if your answer is dependent upon C++ or Java or specific implementation of hibernate- please specify) What are the pros and cons of selecting one of these strategies ?     SO I wish to check to see if the item in my array [clientDataArray objectForKey:@"ClientCompany"] is nil. temp = [clientDataArray objectForKey:@"ClientCompany"]; if (temp != [NSNull null]) infofieldCompany.text = temp; So far I have been able to achieve this through the above code, but it does give me the warnings warning: 'NSArray' may not respond to'-objectForKey:' warning: comparison of distinct Objective-C types 'struct NSNull *' and 'struct NSString *' lacks a cast My main interest is the second warning, but the first warning also interest me. How should I adapt my above code?

  • Is it possible to use WinMerge inside Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Source Safe 6.0?

    I would like to use WinMerge as the default diff tool inside VS2008 from the solutions explorer in place of the "Compare..." context menu item. Is this possible? I'm looking for a quick replacement of the current bland diff tool an I just like WinMerge better. I'm not interested in going to the folder explorer and doing the comparison there.   • Spark VS 2010 intellisense

    I was thinking about switching one of my projects (and after that subsequently other projects too) to Spark View Engine but after todays research I ran into problem of a lack of Intellisense for Visual studio 2010. Not only that but it seems that the project is not maintained regularly. So I'm left with a feeling that I should not choose Spark at this time yet. However, apparently NHaml has the same "issues" too. I know it is discussed in more detail here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1451319/asp-net-mvc-view-engine-comparison but I would still like you thoughts on what to choose or just stay with WebForms view engine for now?

    Hi, i'm currently using SoapUI Free edition 3.2-beta 2. And i have a weird problem with a Xpath assertion: I have this in response: (...) And i'm using this xpath to assert that the "niveau" with id='2' is in the response: Xpath expression; //*:niveau[@id='2'] & the expected result is : but i have this error message: XPathContains comparison failed, expecting [ ], actual was [null] but if i try this : exitsts(//*:niveau[@id='2']) & the expected result is : True it works !!? But this syntax is quite difficult to read & lmaintain & i would like to use the 1st syntax (i ve tried to ignore namespace, add them.. stil doesnt work). Any idea ? Regards

For performance I'm going to use no relational dbms (each request could cost lot of instructions in relational dbms like mysql) - so i can't use DAL. My question is: how web2py is working with a big traffic, is it work concurrently? I'm consider to use web2py or Gork - Zope, How is working zodb(Z Object Database) with a lot of data? Is there some comparison with object-relational postgresql? Could you advice me please.
