    Hi, Just wondering if it's possible to pass a global javascript array value into a html tag, specifically inside a img (title) tag? Basically want to know if I can do this: <img src="_info.gif" height="26" width="37" title=myArray[5]/> If so, how and if not, can people possibly provide other suggestions. Thanks

    - by BrunoLM
    Is it possible to set a default value without the body of a property? Maybe through annotations? [SetTheDefaultValueTo(true)] public bool IsTrue { get; set; } [SetTheDefaultValueTo(false)] public bool IsFalse { get; set; } public void Something() { var isTrue = this.IsTrue; var isFalse = this.IsFalse; }

  • Clean way to assign value unless empty

    - by atmorell
    Hello, I often need to assign a variable, if the source value is set. So far I have done it like this: filters[:red] = params[:search][:red] unless params[:search][:red].nil? This works but looks a bit clumsy. There must be a more DRY way of getting this result. Any suggestions? Best regards. Asbjørn Morell.

  • Checking for a null int value from a Java ResultSet

    - by ian_scho_es
    In Java I'm trying to test for a null value, from a ResultSet, where the column is being cast to a primitive int type. int iVal; ResultSet rs = magicallyAppearingStmt.executeQuery(query); if (rs.next()) { if (rs.getObject("ID_PARENT") != null && !rs.wasNull()) { iVal = rs.getInt("ID_PARENT"); } } From the code fragment above, is there a better way to do this, and I assume that the second wasNull() test is redundant? Educate us, and Thanks

  • Good value for declaring "Position reached" in geo coords

    - by poeschlorn
    Hi Guys, I've written a kind of navigation system for pedestrians. The only thing is, that I need a criterion to finish the navigation. My values are gives as lat/long pairs. What would you assume would be a good value to say, both positions are equal/near enough to tell the user that he has reached the goal? Please keep also in mind, that it's idfficult to say "directly equal", because GPS modules may have variances... greetz from europe, poeschlorn

  • Django Form field initial value on failed validation

    - by John
    Hi, how do I set the value of a field element after a form has been submitted but has failed validation? e.g. if form.is_valid(): form.save() else: form.data['my_field'] = 'some different data' I don't really want to put it in the view though and would rather have it as part of the form class. Thanks
