  • Appending javascript code piece to end of the body tag

    I am looking for a way to insert javascript code block to end of ASP.NET page. Page.ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock(typeof(Page), "showVideo", sScript, true); is appending to body but js codes are always requesting some js files didn't load or some functions are below of the script. How can i append scripts that i generated dynamically to the bottom of body? Thanks for your help.

    Hi, I'v created a C header file (It's compiled), now when i compile my program it comes up with tons of errors like: warning: null character(s) ignored error: stray ‘\23’ in program TheFunctions.h:1722: error: stray ‘\200’ in program Inside the header file is simply two functions, which work in the normal c program. Please help!

  • Why aren't IOKit notifications being delivered with this code?

    I wrote this code to subscribe to USB devices being plugged in and unplugged; the point is for IOKit to deliver notifications to my iAttached() and iDetached() functions when the corresponding events occur. But surely there is a standard library function that implements mode for a vector (or list).

    I am using TextMate on a Ruby on Rails project and wonder if you can put the mouse on link_to, and then press a key and it will show the definition of link_to, or does this for any other helper functions? Or, click open a box and type in a function name and it will show you the definition?

    Using MySQL, I can do something like select hobbies from peoples_hobbies where person_id = 5; and get: shopping fishing coding but instead I just want 1 row, 1 col: shopping, fishing, coding The reason is that I'm selecting multiple values from multiple tables, and after all the joins I've got a lot more rows than I'd like. I've looked for a function on MySQL Doc and it doesn't look like the CONCAT or CONCAT_WS functions accept result sets, so does anyone here know how to do this?

    I am attempting to code some plugins to use with MIDI sequencers but have hit a stumbling block. I can't use global-scope variables to store information because multiple instances of the .dll can exist which share memory. How do I create a class (for re-usability purposes in other plugins) containing 2 dimensional array and other variables the content of which is to be shared between functions? If that is possible, how would I read and write the data from the function in the framework where I do the processing?

But I figured... what if a user decides to set his CRM to use a different precision? I.e I can do something like: void func(int); void func(double); but not double func(); int func(); Where in the former, it's clear, in the latter, it's ambigious.     I wonder whether there's a way to program a resource DLL for Windows Clusters in Delphi. I want to write a program that observes cluster state changes. Judging from the MSDN API reference, all relevant functions are located in the ClusAPI.h and ResAPI.h headers, but unfortunately it seems as if they haven't been ported yet and HeaderConv seems to fail on them.     In Solaris, gcc gives me implicit declaration of function `getopt' when compiling #include <unistd.h> #include <stdlib.h> int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { getopt(1,argv,""); return 0; } The man page for getopt says something about including unistd.h or stdio.h, however even though I'm inluding both I still get this warning. Is this normal? Is using functions that aren't explicitly declared common in Unix development?

  • Android runs OpenGL ES 1.1 or 1.0?

    I'm developing a native app for Android and I'm trying to use functions such as glIsEnabled which appear to be only available in OpenGL ES 1.1. Google's docs claim that NDK 1.6R1 supports OpenGL ES v1.1 but the function call fails with "unimplemented Open GL ES API" and if i do a glGetString(GL_VERSION) it returns "OpenGL ES 1.0 CM" as the version. So if 1.1 is available, what do I have to link against to get it or what else do i need to change to get it?

I'm using this algorithm, at the moment, but something inside myself dies anytime I see it: 10**( int( math.log10(x) ) ) # python pow( 10, (int) log10(x) ) // C I could implement simple log10 and pow functions for my problems with one loop each, but still I'm wondering if there is some bit magic for decimal numbers.

  • Can I add Boost source+header files to my own (Open Source) project?

    Is it allowed by the Boost License to just add the source code of the stuff I need to my project (accompanied by the license of course?). I couldn't find any "descriptive" confirmation. I would have seperate Include/boost and Source/boost directories for easy access. PS: Seeing as boost::filesystem is going into C++0x TR2, and lambda's are already in c++0x TR1, I don't see any reason to be juggling with C functions like realpath, getcwd and the like. They don't work well anyways...

    I'm planning to have a desktop app interact with some .ASP or .ASPX pages on a server. I've only done a little bit with .asp pages and I'm thinking I'd just Post or Get a URL with some variables: MySite.com/Functions.asp?FunctionName=?Paramater1=somevalue?Parameter2=... I'm wondering if there is any better way to go about this? Am I missing something? Is there perhaps a better way to go about this?
