  • How do I determine if a property was overriden?

    Hello I am doing a project that where I need to register all the properties, because of the system being so huge it would require a lot of work to register all the properties that i want to be dependent for the purpose of Xaml. The goal is to find all properties that are on the top of the tree. so basically public class A{ public int Property1 { get; set; } } public class B : A{ public int Property2 { get; set; } public virtual int Property3 { get; set; } } public class C : B{ public override int Property3 { get; set; } public int Property4 { get; set; } public int Property5 { get; set; } } The end result would be something like this A.Prorperty1 B.Property2 B.Property3 C.Property4 C.Property5 If you notice I don't want to accept overridden properties because of the way I search for the properties if I do something like this C.Property3 for example and it cannot find it it will check C's basetype and there it will find it. From reading quite alot of discussions, I'm under the impression that there is no tool available to create the web service client in android automatically from a WSDL file. If this is the situation, what is the easiest approach for creating a communication infrastructure between the client and server, that can be updated easily in the future (plain GET, REST, use SOAP and manually parse responses) Initially, I wanted to build the web service and have the client created automatically with the provided WSDL file.     Is there any Python library that allows me to parse an HTML document similar to what jQuery does? i.e. I'd like to be able to use CSS selector syntax to grab an arbitrary set of nodes from the document, read their content/attributes, etc. The only Python HTML parsing lib I've used before was BeautifulSoup, and even though it's fine I keep thinking it would be faster to do my parsing if I had jQuery syntax available. :D

    sorry if this is a repeat, i looked around some and didnt find what i was after so here goes SELECT * FROM trees WHERE trees.`title` LIKE '%elm%' this works fine, but not if the tree is named Elm or ELM ect... how do i make sql case insensitive for this wild-card search? again apologies if this is repeated. oh, using MySql 5 on apache

    Is it possible to use a Perl hash in a manner that has O(log(n)) lookup and insertion? By default, I assume the lookup is O(n) since it's represented by an unsorted list. I know I could create a data structure to satisfy this (ie, a tree, etc) however, it would be nicer if it was built in and could be used as a normal hash (ie, with %)

    I'm getting a datetime string in a format like "2009-05-28T16:15:00" (this is ISO 8601, I believe) one hack-ish option seems to be to parse the string using time.strptime and passing the first 6 elements of the touple into the datetime constructor, like: datetime.datetime(*time.strptime("2007-03-04T21:08:12", "%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S")[:6]) I haven't been able to find a "cleaner" way of doing this, is there one?

  • Why does my Sharepoint page's custom content type change to "Page" when editing?

    I have a custom Sharepoint 2007 site definition with custom content types for the different page layouts. When editing a page using a custom layout from the main "View all contents" tree view, the page content type is fine, but if I view the page directly and edit it from there, the content type gets stripped and replaced with "Page." I can change it back by viewing and editing it from the main list, but not from its subsite home location.

    How can I parse text and find all instances of hyperlinks with a string? The hyperlink will not be in the html format of <a href="http://test.com">test</a> but just http://test.com Secondly, I would like to then convert the original string and replace all instances of hyperlinks into clickable html hyperlinks. I found an example in this thread: Easiest way to convert a URL to a hyperlink in a C# string? but was unable to reproduce it in python :(
