• Forward DB requests after a DB move in SQL Server

  I've moved database from one SQL Server instance on a machine to another machine completely. Is there any way to forward requests to the new server automatically so it doesn't require client config changes? Keep in mind it's only one DB out of many on the original server so I can't just forward all requests.

But when I save the content of the richEditor, no validation message is rendered if the richEditor is blank. The richEditor contains automatically the message : (I use the extension firebug). • Distributing VC++ Redist... running installer when already installed causes problems

  Using the Inno installer, we distribute the VC++ redistributable with our app so we can run it automatically. We've found that running it on a system where it's already installed asks us to repair/undo the installation which is going to totally confuse users. Is there a way around this? Maybe a flag on the installer or something? Thanks.

  SPL and PHP allows you to create objects on the fly from classes, that fulfill certain conditions, such as implementing certain interfaces and stuff like that. However, I would like to do something similar in c# and automatically create objects from all classes in a namespace and invoke a particular method from those classes that implement a certain interface. My experience developing desktop apps is very limited. I am not quite sure if I should use delegates to archive this or if reflection is really the way to go.

  Basic question, sorry. Basically, I have a script that creates a MySQL entry each time someone visits the page. A logging script. However, I want to make it autoprune after, say, 100 visits. For example in pseudo code: if amount of rows > 100 { delete rows 1+ until amount of rows == 100 } So in a nutshell, each time a new row is added after 100, it needs to automatically remove the row with the smallest id (My primary key).

  phpFox should take care of user login management, add user and edit user. But would like to automatically create a corresponding Wordpress account when user signs up for phpFox. And when user logs into phpFox user is auto logged into Wordpress so user doesn't really even realize Wordpress login or user account exists. What would be the best way to do this?
