  • Project Time Tracker

    - by Geertjan
    Based on yesterday's blog entry, let's do something semi useful and display, in the project popup, which is available when you right-click a project in the Projects window, the time since the last change was made anywhere in the project, i.e., we can listen recursively to any changes done within a project and then update the popup with the newly acquired information, dynamically: import java.awt.event.ActionEvent; import java.text.DateFormat; import java.text.SimpleDateFormat; import java.util.ArrayList; import java.util.Collection; import java.util.List; import javax.swing.AbstractAction; import org.netbeans.api.project.Project; import org.netbeans.api.project.ProjectUtils; import org.openide.awt.ActionID; import org.openide.awt.ActionReference; import org.openide.awt.ActionRegistration; import org.openide.awt.StatusDisplayer; import org.openide.filesystems.FileAttributeEvent; import org.openide.filesystems.FileChangeListener; import org.openide.filesystems.FileEvent; import org.openide.filesystems.FileRenameEvent; import org.openide.util.Lookup; import org.openide.util.LookupEvent; import org.openide.util.LookupListener; import org.openide.util.Utilities; import org.openide.util.WeakListeners; @ActionID( category = "Demo", id = "org.ptt.TrackProjectSelectionAction") @ActionRegistration( lazy = false, displayName = "NOT-USED") @ActionReference( path = "Projects/Actions", position = 0) public final class TrackProjectSelectionAction extends AbstractAction implements LookupListener, FileChangeListener { private Lookup.Result<Project> projects; private Project context; private Long startTime; private Long changedTime; private DateFormat formatter; private List<Project> timedProjects; public TrackProjectSelectionAction() { putValue("popupText", "Timer"); formatter = new SimpleDateFormat("HH:mm:ss"); timedProjects = new ArrayList<Project>(); projects = Utilities.actionsGlobalContext().lookupResult(Project.class); projects.addLookupListener( WeakListeners.create(LookupListener.class, this, projects)); resultChanged(new LookupEvent(projects)); } @Override public void resultChanged(LookupEvent le) { Collection<? extends Project> allProjects = projects.allInstances(); if (allProjects.size() == 1) { Project currentProject = allProjects.iterator().next(); if (!timedProjects.contains(currentProject)) { String currentProjectName = ProjectUtils.getInformation(currentProject).getDisplayName(); putValue("popupText", "Start Timer for Project: " + currentProjectName); StatusDisplayer.getDefault().setStatusText( "Current Project: " + currentProjectName); timedProjects.add(currentProject); context = currentProject; } } } @Override public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) { refresh(); } protected void refresh() { startTime = System.currentTimeMillis(); String formattedStartTime = formatter.format(startTime); putValue("popupText", "Timer started: " + formattedStartTime + " (" + ProjectUtils.getInformation(context).getDisplayName() + ")"); } @Override public void fileChanged(FileEvent fe) { changedTime = System.currentTimeMillis(); formatter = new SimpleDateFormat("mm:ss"); String formattedLapse = formatter.format(changedTime - startTime); putValue("popupText", "Time since last change: " + formattedLapse + " (" + ProjectUtils.getInformation(context).getDisplayName() + ")"); startTime = changedTime; } @Override public void fileFolderCreated(FileEvent fe) {} @Override public void fileDataCreated(FileEvent fe) {} @Override public void fileDeleted(FileEvent fe) {} @Override public void fileRenamed(FileRenameEvent fre) {} @Override public void fileAttributeChanged(FileAttributeEvent fae) {} } Some more work needs to be done to complete the above, i.e., for each project you somehow need to maintain the start time and last change and redisplay that whenever the user right-clicks the project.

  • How does one get UI_USER_INTERFACE_IDIOM() to work with iPhone OS SDK < 3.2

    Apple advises using the following code to detect whether running on an iPad or iPhone/iPod Touch: if (UI_USER_INTERFACE_IDIOM() == UIUserInterfaceIdiomPad) { // The device is an iPad running iPhone 3.2 or later. // [for example, load appropriate iPad nib file] } else { // The device is an iPhone or iPod touch. // [for example, load appropriate iPhone nib file] } The problem is that UI_USER_INTERFACE_IDIOM() and UIUserInterfaceIdiomPad are NOT defined in the SDKs priory to 3.2. This seems to completely defeat the purpose of such a function. They can only be compiled and run on iPhone OS 3.2 (iPhone OS 3.2 can only be run on iPad). So if you can use UI_USER_INTERFACE_IDIOM(), the result will always be to indicate an iPad. If you include this code and target OS 3.1.3 (the most recent iPhone/iPod Touch OS) in order to test your iPhone-bound universal app code, you will get compiler errors since the symbols are not defined in 3.1.3 or earlier. If this is the recommended-by-Apple approach to runtime device-detection, what am I doing wrong? Has anyone succeeded using this approach to device-detection?

  • UI_USER_INTERFACE_IDIOM() does not work with iPhone OS SDK < 3.2

  • Sharepoint - Passing parameters in URL to NewForm.aspx

    - by kevin
    Any suggestions would be great. I've inherited a system and have been requested to add a context menu item to allow the ability to add a new item. I've set up the context menu with the new option and the newform.aspx to accept and pull parameters from the url for populating some fields. The context menu was created with the content editor web part and the follow JavaScript. function Custom_AddDocLibMenuItems(m, ctx) { var strAction = "window.location='http://address?para1=....'"; var strDisplayText = "Taxonomy"; var strImagePath = ""; // Add our new menu item CAMOpt(m, strDisplayText, strAction, strImagePath); // add a separator to the menu CAMSep(m); // false means that the standard menu items should also be rendered return false; } I'm having difficulties getting the proper values in order to concatenate them to the strAction string (which would be the full url of the newform.aspx. Any suggestions on how I retrieve the values of the columns for the item that the user right click to get context menu.

  • shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation called several times in a row without any rotation

    - by Mike
    I am trying to implement some interface changes in my app, based on the device rotation. My app is a view based app. So, its main view controller has a didload method. The app starts in portrait. Almost all changes on the device orientation triggers the shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation method but this method is not called when the device is put on portrait, after coming from any landscape orientation. While debugging the app, I have put a NSLog(@"orientation=%d", interfaceOrientation); on my shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation method, and what I see is quite strange: When I run the app, shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation is called 6 times before the app's interface even appears. Every time it runs, it reports a different number for the orientation: the order it reports on console is: portrait, portrait, portrait, landscape right, landscape left, upside down) (????). During this time the app is just beginning. All 6 times the debugger reports the method being run by the app's delegate. So, here comes the questions: WHy shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation is not being called when the device enters on portrait? Why is this method running 6 times called by the delegate even before the app starts and shows its interface if no rotation is being done? thanks.

  • .NET Remoting Exception not handled Client-Side

    - by DanJo519
    I checked the rest of the remoting questions, and this specific case did not seem to be addressed. I have a .NET Remoting server/client set up. On the server side I have an object with a method that can throw an exception, and a client which will try to call that method. Server: public bool MyEquals(Guid myGuid, string a, string b) { if (CheckAuthentication(myGuid)) { logger.Debug("Request for \"" + a + "\".Equals(\"" + b + "\")"); return a.Equals(b); } else { throw new AuthenticationException(UserRegistryService.USER_NOT_REGISTERED_EXCEPTION_TEXT); } } Client: try { bool result = RemotedObject.MyEquals(myGuid, "cat", "dog"); } catch (Services.Exceptions.AuthenticationException e) { Console.WriteLine("You do not have permission to execute that action"); } When I call MyEquals with a Guid which causes CheckAuthentication to return false, .NET tries to throw the exception and says the AuthenticationException was unhandled. This happens server side. The exception is never marshaled over to the client-side, and I cannot figure out why. All of the questions I have looked at address the issue of an exception being handled client-side, but it isn't the custom exception but a base type. In my case, I can't even get any exception to cross the remoting boundary to the client. Here is a copy of AuthenticationException. It is in the shared library between both server and client. [Serializable] public class AuthenticationException : ApplicationException, ISerializable { public AuthenticationException(string message) : base(message) { } public AuthenticationException(SerializationInfo info, StreamingContext context) : base(info, context) { } #region ISerializable Members void ISerializable.GetObjectData(SerializationInfo info, StreamingContext context) { base.GetObjectData(info, context); } #endregion }

  • ReflectionTypeLoadException with Silverlight serialization attributes

    - by RPS
    Hi all, I´m trying to inspect the types in a silverlight 4 assembly from a .NET 3.5 application. I have loaded the silverlight assembly with a Assembly.ReflectionOnlyLoadFrom sentence. contractsAssembly = Assembly.ReflectionOnlyLoadFrom(contractsAssemblyPath); When the .NET application tries to perform a call to GetTypes(), it throws a ReflectionTypeLoadException. Type[] types = contractsAssembly.GetTypes(); The LoaderExceptions property in the ReflectionTypeLoadException contains a list of exceptions, all of them regarding a problem loading a type that has serialization attributes. Type 'XXXX' in assembly 'YYYY' has method 'OnSerializing' with an incorrect signature for the serialization attribute that it is decorated with. The type XXXX has the following definitions in it: [System.Runtime.Serialization.OnSerializing] public void OnSerializing(System.Runtime.Serialization.StreamingContext context) [System.Runtime.Serialization.OnSerialized] public void OnSerialized(System.Runtime.Serialization.StreamingContext context) [System.Runtime.Serialization.OnDeserializing] public void OnDeserializing(System.Runtime.Serialization.StreamingContext context) [System.Runtime.Serialization.OnDeserialized] public void OnDeserialized(System.Runtime.Serialization.StreamingContext context) I have tried changing the method signature to internal or private, but with no luck. When I perform a GetTypes() call in a silverlight application that inspects this assembly I have no problems, so I thought that this was due to an incompatibility between .NET Framework and Silverlight. However, I see that .NET tools such as Reflector can inspect this Silverlight assembly, so there is a way to inspect Silverlight assemblies with serialization attributes from a .NET applciation. Could someone shed me some light on this? Many thanks in advance. Jose Antonio

  • Membership.GetUser() within TransactionScope throws TransactionPromotionException

    - by Bob Kaufman
    The following code throws a TransactionAbortedException with message "The transaction has aborted" and an inner TransactionPromotionException with message "Failure while attempting to promote transaction": using ( TransactionScope transactionScope = new TransactionScope() ) { try { using ( MyDataContext context = new MyDataContext() ) { Guid accountID = new Guid( Request.QueryString[ "aid" ] ); Account account = ( from a in context.Accounts where a.UniqueID.Equals( accountID ) select a ).SingleOrDefault(); IQueryable < My_Data_Access_Layer.Login > loginList = from l in context.Logins where l.AccountID == account.AccountID select l; foreach ( My_Data_Access_Layer.Login login in loginList ) { MembershipUser membershipUser = Membership.GetUser( login.UniqueID ); } [... lots of DeleteAllOnSubmit() calls] context.SubmitChanges(); transactionScope.Complete(); } } catch ( Exception E ) { [... reports the exception ...] } } The error occurs at the call to Membership.GetUser(). My Connection String is: <add name="MyConnectionString" connectionString="Data Source=localhost\SQLEXPRESS;Initial Catalog=MyDatabase;Integrated Security=True" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" /> Everything I've read tells me that TransactionScope should just get magically applied to the Membership calls. The user exists (I'd expect a null return otherwise.)

    HI all I was trying to follow the POCO Template walkthrough . And now I am having problems using it in n-tiers design. By following the article, I put my edmx model, and the template generated context.tt in my DAL project, and moved the generated model.tt entity classes to my Business Logic layer (BLL) project. By doing this, I could use those entities inside my BLL without referencing the DAL, I guess that is the idea of PI; without knowing anything about the data source. Now, I want to extend the entities (inside the model.tt) to perform some CUD action in the BLL project,so I added a new partial class same name as the one generated from template, public partial class Company { public static IEnumerable AllCompanies() { using(var context = new Entities()){ var q = from p in context.Companies select p; return q.ToList(); } } } however visual studio won't let me do that, and I think it was because the context.tt is in the DAL project, and the BLL project could not add a reference to the DAL project as DAL has already reference to the BLL. So I tried to added this class to the DAL and it compiled, but intelisense won't show up the BLL.Company.AllCompanies() in my web service method from my webservice project which has reference to my BLL project. What should I do now? I want to add CUD methods to the template generated entities in my BLL project, and call them in my web services from another project. I have been looking for this answer a few days already, and I really need some guides from here please. Bryan

  • UiModeManager - NightMode (FroYo)

    - by Kaloer
    Hi there, I have been trying to turn off the buttons' light in my application using the UiModeManager's nightmode function. The default Desk Clock application (Nexus One) turns off the buttons' light when it is dimmed, and I want to do this as well. I've tried using the following code: UiModeManager mgr = (UiModeManager) getSystemService(UI_MODE_SERVICE); mgr.setNightMode(UiModeManager.MODE_NIGHT_YES); The UiModeManager.setNightMode(int mode) documentation says this: Sets the night mode. Changes to the night mode are only effective when the car or desk mode is enabled on a device. Does that mean that the device has to be physically in a desk dock? I can set the device to car mode using the UiModeManager.enableCarMode(int flags) method. This works fine, but it doesn't turn off the lights, it only dims the screen's backlight. Is there a way to set the device into desk mode without using a physical desk dock? As the FroYo source code is not yet released, I cannot look at the build-in Desk Clock application. Thanks in advantage.

  • TypeConverter prevents ApplyPropertyChanges in EntityFramework

    - by Felix
    I ran into an interesting problem (hopefully, interesting not just for me :) I am running Entity Framework 1 (.NET 3.5) and ASP.NET MVC 2. I have a Customer class that has many-to-one relationship with Country class (in other words, Country is a lookup table for customers - I described more in this post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2404801/explicit-casting-doesnt-work-in-default-model-binding ) I got TypeConverter to work; so I am getting a perfect object into controller's Post method. Create works fine; however, in Edit I am getting the following error when I call ApplyPropertyChanges: The existing object in the ObjectContext is in the Added state. Changes can only be applied when the existing object is in an unchanged or modified state. The controller code is fairly trivial: public ActionResult Edit(Customer customerToEdit) { if (ModelState.IsValid) { Customer cust = (Customer)context.GetObjectByKey( new EntityKey("BAEntities.Customers", "CustomerID", customerToEdit.CustomerID)); context.ApplyPropertyChanges(cust.EntityKey.EntitySetName, customerToEdit); context.SaveChanges(); } return View(...); } If I remove country from the form, it works fine; and if I assign dropdown value to EntityReference "manually" - it works as well. TypeConverter code is also fairly simple, but I've never used TypeConverter before, so I may be missing something here: public override object ConvertFrom(ITypeDescriptorContext typeContext, CultureInfo culture, object value) { if (value is string) { int countryID = Int16.Parse((string)value); Country country = (Country)context.GetObjectByKey( new EntityKey("BAEntities.Countries", "CountryID", countryID)); return country; } return base.ConvertFrom(typeContext, culture, value); }

  • Why is my Android app camera preview running out of memory on my AVD?

    - by Bryan
    I have yet to try this on an actual device, but expect similar results. Anyway, long story short, whenever I run my app on the emulator, it crashes due to an out of memory exception. My code really is essentially the same as the camera preview API demo from google, which runs perfectly fine. The only file in the app (that I created/use) is as below- package berbst.musicReader; import java.io.IOException; import android.app.Activity; import android.content.Context; import android.hardware.Camera; import android.os.Bundle; import android.view.SurfaceHolder; import android.view.SurfaceView; /********************************* * Music Reader v.0001 * Still VERY under construction. * @author Bryan * *********************************/ public class MusicReader extends Activity { private MainScreen main; @Override //Begin activity public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); main = new MainScreen(this); setContentView(main); } class MainScreen extends SurfaceView implements SurfaceHolder.Callback { SurfaceHolder sHolder; Camera cam; MainScreen(Context context) { super(context); //Set up SurfaceHolder sHolder = getHolder(); sHolder.addCallback(this); sHolder.setType(SurfaceHolder.SURFACE_TYPE_PUSH_BUFFERS); } public void surfaceCreated(SurfaceHolder holder) { // Open the camera and start viewing cam = Camera.open(); try { cam.setPreviewDisplay(holder); } catch (IOException exception) { cam.release(); cam = null; } } public void surfaceDestroyed(SurfaceHolder holder) { // Kill all our crap with the surface cam.stopPreview(); cam.release(); cam = null; } public void surfaceChanged(SurfaceHolder holder, int format, int w, int h) { // Modify parameters to match size. Camera.Parameters params = cam.getParameters(); params.setPreviewSize(w, h); cam.setParameters(params); cam.startPreview(); } } }

  • Android - Views in Custom Compound Component are not inflated (findByView returns null)

    - by Julian Arz
    I have made a Custom Component in XML, consisting of a button with an imageview stacked on top of it: <myapp.widget.ClearableCaptionedButton xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content"> <Button android:id="@+id/ccbutton_button" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:gravity="center_vertical|left" android:textAppearance="?android:attr/textAppearanceMedium" android:background="@android:drawable/edit_text"/> <ImageView android:id="@+id/ccbutton_clear" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_marginRight="5dip" android:layout_alignRight="@id/ccbutton_button" android:layout_alignTop="@id/ccbutton_button" android:layout_alignBottom="@id/ccbutton_button"/> </myapp.widget.ClearableCaptionedButton> extract of java source code: public class ClearableCaptionedButton extends RelativeLayout implements OnClickListener { ... public ClearableCaptionedButton(Context context, AttributeSet attrs) { super(context, attrs); // some stuff that works fine } .. protected void onFinishInflate() { super.onFinishInflate(); mButton = (Button) findViewById(R.id.ccbutton_button); mClear = (ImageView) findViewById(R.id.ccbutton_clear); mButton.setText(""); // error here: mButton == null } My problem is similar to this one. When i try to find the views inside the custom compound, findViewById returns null. But, as you can see, i already added super(context, attrs); to the constructor. i am using the custom component directly in xml layout, like this: <LinearLayout> <!-- some stuff --> <de.pockettaxi.widget.ClearableCaptionedButton android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" app:caption="to"/> </LinearLayout> can anybody spot something? thanks.

  • Is it possible to create a custom, animated MKAnnotationView?

    - by smountcastle
    I'm trying to simulate the user location animation in MapKit (where-by the user's position is represented by a pulsating blue dot). I've created a custom subclass of MKAnnotationView and in the drawRect method I'm attempting to cycle through a set of colors. Here's a simpler implementation of what I'm doing: - (void)drawRect:(CGRect)rect { float magSquared = event.magnitude * event.magnitude; CGContextRef context = UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext(); if (idx == -1) { r[0] = 1.0; r[1] = 0.5; r[2] = 0; b[0] = 0; b[1] = 1.0; b[2] = 0.5; g[0] = 0.5; g[1] = 0; g[2] = 1.0; idx = 0; } // CGContextSetRGBFillColor(context, 1.0, 1.0 - magSquared * 0.015, 0.211, .6); CGContextSetRGBFillColor(context, r[idx], g[idx], b[idx], 0.75); CGContextFillEllipseInRect(context, rect); idx++; if (idx > 3) idx = 0; } Unfortunately this just causes the annotations to be one of the 3 different colors and doesn't cycle through them. Is there a way to force the MKAnnotations to continually redraw so that it appears to be animated?

  • Opened SerialPort crashes C# application

    - by Stefan Teitge
    The computer is connected to measuring device via a physical COM1. I have simple form where I open a serial port, tell the device that I'm alive and occasionally the device sends data. (every some minutes) Thread _readThread = new Thread(Read); SerialPort _serialPort = new SerialPort("COM1", 9600); _serialPort.Parity = Parity.None; _serialPort.DataBits = 8; _serialPort.StopBits = StopBits.One; _serialPort.Handshake = Handshake.None; _serialPort.DtrEnable = true; _serialPort.Open(); _readThread.Start(); _serialPort.Write("#listening"); The read function (which works): public void Read() { string message = _serialPort.ReadLine(); } After approximately one minute the application crashes (even while debugging). It reports an ObjectDisposedException (for the underlying stream?). The message tells that the SafeHandle was closed. Stack strace is below: at Microsoft.Win32.UnsafeNativeMethods.GetOverlappedResult(SafeFileHandle hFile, NativeOverlapped lpOverlapped, Int32& lpNumberOfBytesTransferred, Boolean bWait) at System.IO.Ports.SerialStream.EventLoopRunner.WaitForCommEvent() at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart_Context(Object state) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state) at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart()* Any ideas? The problem is reported widely but usually involve the device beeing physically detached from the PC.

  • Using NHibernate's HQL to make a query with multiple inner joins

    - by Abu Dhabi
    The problem here consists of translating a statement written in LINQ to SQL syntax into the equivalent for NHibernate. The LINQ to SQL code looks like so: var whatevervar = from threads in context.THREADs join threadposts in context.THREADPOSTs on threads.thread_id equals threadposts.thread_id join posts1 in context.POSTs on threadposts.post_id equals posts1.post_id join users in context.USERs on posts1.user_id equals users.user_id orderby posts1.post_time where threads.thread_id == int.Parse(id) select new { threads.thread_topic, posts1.post_time, users.user_display_name, users.user_signature, users.user_avatar, posts1.post_body, posts1.post_topic }; It's essentially trying to grab a list of posts within a given forum thread. The best I've been able to come up with (with the help of the helpful users of this site) for NHibernate is: var whatevervar = session.CreateQuery("select t.Thread_topic, p.Post_time, " + "u.User_display_name, u.User_signature, " + "u.User_avatar, p.Post_body, p.Post_topic " + "from THREADPOST tp " + "inner join tp.Thread_ as t " + "inner join tp.Post_ as p " + "inner join p.User_ as u " + "where tp.Thread_ = :what") .SetParameter<THREAD>("what", threadid) .SetResultTransformer(Transformers.AliasToBean(typeof(MyDTO))) .List<MyDTO>(); But that doesn't parse well, complaining that the aliases for the joined tables are null references. MyDTO is a custom type for the output: public class MyDTO { public string thread_topic { get; set; } public DateTime post_time { get; set; } public string user_display_name { get; set; } public string user_signature { get; set; } public string user_avatar { get; set; } public string post_topic { get; set; } public string post_body { get; set; } } I'm out of ideas, and while doing this by direct SQL query is possible, I'd like to do it properly, without defeating the purpose of using an ORM. Thanks in advance!

  • ListView with Custom ArrayAdapter not updating

    - by Intelwalk
    I am currently trying to return a custom view of a textview, chrono, and checkbox. I have overriden the getView method but I am not sure if I did it correctly. I would appreciate some comments on the arrayadapter. It currently does not update in my application. Thanks! main java public class TaskTracker extends Activity { /** Called when the activity is first created. */ @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); Button addButton; addButton=(Button)findViewById(R.id.button1); ListView myListView= (ListView)findViewById(R.id.listView1); final EditText myEditText= (EditText)findViewById(R.id.editText1) ; //final ArrayList<String> taskitems = new ArrayList<String>(); final TTAdapterView aa = new TTAdapterView(this); // aa = new ArrayAdapter<String>(this, 0); myListView.setAdapter(aa); addButton.setOnClickListener(new OnClickListener(){ public void onClick(View v){ aa.add(myEditText.getText().toString()); //taskitems.add(count, myEditText.getText().toString()); aa.notifyDataSetChanged(); myEditText.setText(""); myEditText.requestFocus(); } }); } } ArrayAdapter public class TTAdapterView extends ArrayAdapter<String> { public View v; public TTAdapterView(Context context){ super(context,R.layout.row); } @Override public View getView(int position, View convertView, ViewGroup parent){ this.v = convertView; if(v==null){ LayoutInflater vi = (LayoutInflater)getContext().getSystemService(Context.LAYOUT_INFLATER_SERVICE); v = vi.inflate(R.layout.row, null); } return v; }

  • How i implement the CGContextBeginPath() functions in iphone using objective-C?

    - by Rajendra Bhole
    Hi, I want to divide the circle using CGContext and following code of function given by apple API reference library, CGContextBeginPath (context); for (k = 0; k < count; k += 2) { CGContextMoveToPoint(context, s[k].x, s[k].y); CGContextAddLineToPoint(context, s[k+1].x, s[k+1].y); } CGContextStrokePath(context); The above code i want to implement inside following code instead of C5, C6 and C7 block, (void)drawRect:(CGRect)rect { // circle CGContextRef contextRef = UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext(); CGContextSetRGBFillColor(contextRef, 0, 0, 255, 0.1); CGContextSetRGBStrokeColor(contextRef, 0, 0, 255, 0.5); //CGContextFillEllipseInRect(contextRef, CGRectMake(100, 100, 150, 150)); CGContextStrokeEllipseInRect(contextRef, CGRectMake(100, 100, 150, 150)); CGContextRef c5= UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext(); CGContextSetLineWidth(c5, 2.0); CGContextSetStrokeColorWithColor(c5, [UIColor brownColor].CGColor); CGContextBeginPath(c5); CGContextMoveToPoint(c5, 175.0f, 175.0f); CGContextAddLineToPoint(c5, 100.0f, 175.0f); CGContextStrokePath(c5); CGContextRef c6= UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext(); CGContextSetLineWidth(c6, 2.0); CGContextSetStrokeColorWithColor(c6, [UIColor blueColor].CGColor); CGContextBeginPath(c6); CGContextMoveToPoint(c6, 175.0f, 175.0f); CGContextAddLineToPoint(c6, 175.0f, 250.0f); CGContextStrokePath(c6); CGContextRef c7= UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext(); CGContextSetLineWidth(c7, 02.0); CGContextSetStrokeColorWithColor(c7, [UIColor greenColor].CGColor); CGContextBeginPath(c7); CGContextMoveToPoint(c7, 175.0f, 175.0f); CGContextAddLineToPoint(c7, 175.0f, 100.0f); CGContextStrokePath(c7); } It is possible, if it is then how i should have implement?

  • IHttpAsyncHandler and IObservable web requests

    - by McLovin
    Within Async handler I'm creating an IObservable from webrequest which returns a redirect string. I'm subscribing to that observable and calling AsyncResult.CompleteCall() but I'm forced to use Thread.Sleep(100) in order to get it executed. And it doesn't work every time. I'm pretty sure this is not correct. Could you please shine some light. Thank you! public IAsyncResult BeginProcessRequest(HttpContext context, AsyncCallback cb, object state) { _context = context; _ar = new AsyncResult(cb, state); _tweet = context.Request["tweet"]; string url = context.Request["url"]; if(String.IsNullOrEmpty(_tweet) || String.IsNullOrEmpty(url)) { DisplayError("<h2>Tweet or url cannot be empty</h2>"); return _ar; } _oAuth = new oAuthTwitterRx(); using (_oAuth.AuthorizationLinkGet().Subscribe(p => { _context.Response.Redirect(p); _ar.CompleteCall(); }, exception => DisplayError("<h2>Unable to connect to twitter, please try again</h2>") )) return _ar; } public class AsyncResult : IAsyncResult { private AsyncCallback _cb; private object _state; private ManualResetEvent _event; private bool _completed = false; private object _lock = new object(); public AsyncResult(AsyncCallback cb, object state) { _cb = cb; _state = state; } public Object AsyncState { get { return _state; } } public bool CompletedSynchronously { get { return false; } } public bool IsCompleted { get { return _completed; } } public WaitHandle AsyncWaitHandle { get { lock (_lock) { if (_event == null) _event = new ManualResetEvent(IsCompleted); return _event; } } } public void CompleteCall() { lock (_lock) { _completed = true; if (_event != null) _event.Set(); } if (_cb != null) _cb(this); } }

  • How to use Castle Windsor with ASP.Net web forms?

    - by Xian
    I am trying to wire up dependency injection with Windsor to standard asp.net web forms. I think I have achieved this using a HttpModule and a CustomAttribute (code shown below), although the solution seems a little clunky and was wondering if there is a better supported solution out of the box with Windsor? There are several files all shown together here // index.aspx.cs public partial class IndexPage : System.Web.UI.Page { protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { Logger.Write("page loading"); } [Inject] public ILogger Logger { get; set; } } // WindsorHttpModule.cs public class WindsorHttpModule : IHttpModule { private HttpApplication _application; private IoCProvider _iocProvider; public void Init(HttpApplication context) { _application = context; _iocProvider = context as IoCProvider; if(_iocProvider == null) { throw new InvalidOperationException("Application must implement IoCProvider"); } _application.PreRequestHandlerExecute += InitiateWindsor; } private void InitiateWindsor(object sender, System.EventArgs e) { Page currentPage = _application.Context.CurrentHandler as Page; if(currentPage != null) { InjectPropertiesOn(currentPage); currentPage.InitComplete += delegate { InjectUserControls(currentPage); }; } } private void InjectUserControls(Control parent) { if(parent.Controls != null) { foreach (Control control in parent.Controls) { if(control is UserControl) { InjectPropertiesOn(control); } InjectUserControls(control); } } } private void InjectPropertiesOn(object currentPage) { PropertyInfo[] properties = currentPage.GetType().GetProperties(); foreach(PropertyInfo property in properties) { object[] attributes = property.GetCustomAttributes(typeof (InjectAttribute), false); if(attributes != null && attributes.Length > 0) { object valueToInject = _iocProvider.Container.Resolve(property.PropertyType); property.SetValue(currentPage, valueToInject, null); } } } } // Global.asax.cs public class Global : System.Web.HttpApplication, IoCProvider { private IWindsorContainer _container; public override void Init() { base.Init(); InitializeIoC(); } private void InitializeIoC() { _container = new WindsorContainer(); _container.AddComponent<ILogger, Logger>(); } public IWindsorContainer Container { get { return _container; } } } public interface IoCProvider { IWindsorContainer Container { get; } }
