  • Accessing .NET functionality from a macro in a VSTO Excel workbook

    A while back, I built an Excel workbook for someone else using VSTO SE, and there's functionality in the accompanying DLL that they'd like to be able to use in a VB macro in the workbook. Short of rebuilding the workbook with a control that does what they want, is there a way they can just hook into the necessary function somehow via some sort of macro call? Does the macro have any sort of visibility into the functionality within the VSTO-built DLL that is associated with the workbook?

  • Overloading *(iterator + n) and *(n + iterator) in a C++ iterator class?

    (Note: I'm writing this project for learning only; comments about it being redundant are... uh, redundant. ;) I'm trying to implement a random access iterator, but I've found very little literature on the subject, so I'm going by trial and error combined with Wikpedias list of operator overload prototypes. It's worked well enough so far, but I've hit a snag. Code such as exscape::string::iterator i = string_instance.begin(); std::cout << *i << std::endl; works, and prints the first character of the string. However, *(i + 1) doesn't work, and neither does *(1 + i).   • PHP Sockets Not Working

    Hi, I switched from Lighttpd server to WAMP and then found sockets in php are not working. But php is configured and working. (phpinfo() works) I removed the comment for the php_sockets.dll in php.ini @ C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.2.5.but still gives the error "Fatal error: Call to undefined function socket_create()". Any more configurations to do to enable sockets in php in WAMP? (php_sockets.dll is there as well, I've checked) Thank You!

  • Trace redirect loop

    I have a large PHP application. After I changed some settings I get a redirection loop (i.e. the browser is redirected to the same page over and over again). The problem is that I don't know which command (which line in which PHP file) in this application causes the redirect. Is there a way to trace calls to the header() function? Or - even better - is there a way to trace redirects in PHP? Thanks in advance, Michel

    Hi, In android 2.1, if we enable pattern lock, then the screen lock (slide to unlock) is not displayed and if pattern lock is disabled then screen lock is enabled again. Can someone point me out the java file in framework and the function where this happens. I mean when the screen is about to get locked, how does android decide that whether it will display pattern lock or screen lock and if pattern lock, how it prevents the screen lock from getting displayed.
