• Calling a WCF WebService in PHP via wsHttpBinding.

  I have a WCF webservice I can connect to it via basicHttp, but not wsHttp. I try to conenct to it via wshttp via the following: $service = new SoapClient ("http://service.companyname.local:6666/Service/?wsdl", array( "location" => "http://service.companyname.local:6666/Service/WCF", "trace" => true, 'soap_version' => SOAP_1_2 ) ); The call to the SoapClient constructor returns fine. When I try to call one using $client-FunctionName, the page just sits there loading for quite a while, and eventually returns the error "Error Fetching http headers". What exactly is this supposed to mean and how do I fix it? (Consuming the service from .Net client works perfectly.)

• How can I keep doxygen from documenting #defines in a C file?

  I have #define values in headers that I certainly want Doxygen to document but I have others in C files that I treat as static constants and I don't want Doxygen to document them. Something as simple and stupid as #define NUMBER_OF(a) (sizeof((a))/sizeof((a)[0])) #define MSTR(e) #e How can I keep Doxygen from putting those #defines in the documentation it creates? I've tried marking it with @internal but that didn't seem to help. A somewhat-related question on Doxygen and #define, how can I get: #define SOME_CONSTANT 1234 /**< An explanation */ to put "SOME_CONSTANT" and "An explanation" but not "1234" in the output?

• Initial state of autoCreateRowSorter in Swing JTable

  I have this JTable on my Swing app with the autoCreateRowSorter enabled. My table only has 3 columns, two strings and one int, it works well for all of them when I click the column headers. However, I'm looking for way to do it programatically. I wanted to set the "initial state" for this table. With the Windows look and feel, the column header (when sorted) has a little arrow showing the sort order. But at startup that doesn't show, I have to do one initial click. How can I do that by code?

  I am trying to create a DataTable with a multi row header. The years headers can be fixed as I don't want to do sorting by that. Is there a way to do that in Google Visualizations?   I'm looking for just a simple ListBox with build-in Drag & Drop. I think that Silverlite 4 Toolkit has something like that. The BoxList should be able to: reorder by draging & droping items drag item from one BoxList to another display preview (ghost version) of dragged item show drop location (like a line between items where the dragged will be inserted) I hope there is some solution from microsoft (in toolkit for example), but if not I all be happy with any working solution. • VBA for filtering columns

  I have a big database-like sheet, first row contains headers. I would like a subset of rows of this table based on column values. Two issues: 1) VBA-wise I would like to loop through the columns, when the values for all necessary columns all match, copy the entire row into a new sheet. 2) The subset of rows is based on a list. This should be the first column to be looped through. For example I want all rows where the value in column A is equal to one of the values in my list. Is there any possibility to autofilter strings based on a list (column) of strings? EDIT Thanks to @Doug Glancy the autofiltering works now, so I've removed my (horrible) code and issue 1 is solved.

• cache problem in asp.net

  I'm seeing an issue of some static pages that are using the browser cache, which is not desired. To prevent caching, I'm setting <clientCache cacheControlMode="DisableCache" /> in the relevant <location> tag in web.config If I open the page in Firebug (in the Net tab), I see that the Response headers have Cache-Control: no-cache which is correct, but the status of the Response is 304 Not Modified! Isn't that a contradiction? How can I get it to stop caching (i.e. always send a 200 with content)?

  I'm coding up a small Vista/7 sidebar gadget for our web based employee schedule system and I've run into a Javascript problem that my Google-FU can't solve. I can't figure out how to fill in a login form from the client. I'm creating a new ActiveXObject, navigating to the site, but lost as to where to go from here. var conn = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP"); conn.open("POST", "url", false); conn.send(null); Can access the form from the ActiveXObject based on the form id? I'd also assume I'm going to need to change a few headers for a POST vs. a GET? Thanks for any tips or links to references! I can't seem to find much and JavaScript isn't my forte.

• How to break out from nested doseqs

  Hi, I have a question regarding nested doseq loops. In the start function, once I find an answer I set the atom to true, so that the outer loop validation with :while fails. However it seems that it doesn't break it, and the loops keep on going. What's wrong with it? I am also quite confused with the usage of atoms, refs, agents (Why do they have different names for the update functions when then the mechanism is almost the same?) etc. Is it okay to use an atom in this situation as a flag? Why is this? • long waiting time in linking

  Hi, here is the situation. I am using visual studio 2005. the solution contains lots of projects, 34 projects in all, and the start up projects depends on others. then in linking part, it'll wait a long time before the real linking starts. I am pretty sure it's because of too many projects depended, as when I use a solution with 10 of the 34 projects(keep other projects as headers&libs), it'll start instantly. so any one has any idea that I can reduce the waiting time? thx.

• Caching images with different query strings (S3 signed urls)

  I'm trying to figure out if I can get browsers to cache images with signed urls. What I want is to generate a new signed url for every request (same image, but with an updated signature), but have the browser not re-download it every time. So, assuming the cache-related headers are set correctly, and all of the URL is the same except for the query string, is there any way to make the browser cache it? The urls would look something like: http://example.s3.amazonaws.com/magic.jpg?WSAccessKeyId=stuff&Signature=stuff&Expires=1276297463 http://example.s3.amazonaws.com/magic.jpg?WSAccessKeyId=stuff&Signature=stuff&Expires=1276297500 We plan to set the e-tags to be an md5sum, so will it at least figure out it's the same image at that point? My other option is to keep track of when last gave out a url, then start giving out new ones slightly before the old ones expire, but I'd prefer not to deal with session info.

• Is there any injection vunerability in the body of an email?

  Hey guys..... AFAIK there is only a vulnerability within the HEADERS of an email when using user data correct? I am using the below function to sanitize my data, however I have some textarea fields on the page & hence these may contain linebreaks.. so was wondering if that user data is only going to be put in the body of the email, can it not bother with being sanitized - apart from stripping html of course? • Can you use POST to run a query in Solr (/select)

  I have queries that I am running against out solr index that sometimes have very long query parameters, I get errors when i run these queries, which i assume are do to the limit of a GET query parameters. Here is the method I use to query (JSON), this is to show I am using the Http Extensions (the client i use is a thin wrapper for HttpClient) not an end to end solution. 90% of the queries run fine, it is just when the params are large i get the 500 error from solr. I have read somewhere you can use POSt's when doing the select command but have not found examples of how to do it. • WebBrowser.Navigate overload doesn't add cookies

  Hi guys, I'm experimenting with C#, and right now I'm trying to get a web page that needs cookies. Since I had no success doing it, I wrote this little PHP script ( directly from php.net): <?php foreach (getallheaders() as $name => $value) { echo "$name: $value\n"; } ?> but, when i run: this.WBro.Navigate("http://localhost/cookie.php", null,null,"Cookie: foo=bar"); the foo cookie isn't there, and all I got is a page displaying the "usual" headers ( except the cookie one). My understanding from this is that, unlike the Java based SDK, the NDK is not designed to implement certain parts of an Android application. Is this correct? If so, what parts doesn't the NDK allow implementing?

  I am working on unix. I want to knwo the current cpu usage of a process. I understood that ps give the average of cpu used till the process is up - it is not the current usage. Is there a way to print only the cpu from the top command without 10 more parameters and headers? I know how to do it with awk - this is not the way i want to do it. top -p 20705 -bc -n 1 | tail -n 2 | awk '{ print $9}' | head -n 1 If there is another simple way to do it, not reading /proc/stat... If there is a simple way doing it from c++, it is also ok.

• Web scrapping from a Google Chrome extension

  I've started to develop a Chrome extension to navigate and prform actions on a website. Until now the extension is able to receive a couple of parameters and check a set of radio-buttons, fill in a few inputs of a form and then submit it. What I want to do now is to repeat the process, but I'm stuck when the page is reloaded. And I don't know how can I do to make the script reacts to the finish of the request. The workflow I want to achieve is the following (is for automaticly copying a certain object): Popup side Enter the number of the Master object to copy Enter the base name of the copies (example Mod, so the I can iterate and add mod1, mod2, modn) Enter the number of copies Background side Select master Select standard options Fill in inputs Submit form Wait for the page to complete the request and continue to the next copy. (here I need help) The problem is on the repetition, the rest is taking care of. I assume that must be a way of dealing with requests. Any ideas? By the way I'm doing it all with the extension and tabs methods of google chrome plus javascript and jquery.

  Are there any frameworks/libraries that provide servlets/filters etc that handle reencoding on the fly of images. interpret the accept headers and output the file, reencoding into the new format if necessary by checking the actual format of the original image file. provide a low and high quality version of an image. re encode an image into new dimensions. width and height parameters might query string parameters. I could create versions of the file in all the formats, at upload time but the seems overkill. I would rather lazily create the rencoded file and stick it in a cache if it gets served again etc.
