I cannot change the structure because the database has too many records and might cause major applications rework. It would be easier if the Id from Party table was a foreign key in person and organization table, but in the particular scenario the database has person and organization key as a foreign key in party table.   Hi all, i am currently working on a web application that needs to accept video uploaded by users in any format (.avi, .mov, etc.) and convert them to flv for playing in a flash-based player. Since the site is OpenCms-based, the best solution would be a ready-made plugin for OpenCms that allowed to upload and play videos doing the transcode operation in background, but just a set of Java classes to do the transcode would be great and then i could make the uploading form and playback part on my own.

  I recently moved from NetBeans to Eclipse and I very much miss one great feature - whenever I use method which throws some kind of exception, NetBeans alerted me and I needed to add try-catch and NetBeans automatically generated exception type for me. Is there something similiar for Eclipse? f.e. : Integer.parseInt(new String("foo")); NetBeans alerts I need to catch NumberFormatException.   There are plenty of ways to fold code in Emacs and I've settled in on using the outline minor mode... it works great! However, I really want my folding to be persisted when I close and re-open files. It is quite frustrating to have folding set up in a file the way I like it, only to have that lost when I restart Emacs. Has anyone found a way to keep the folding state of a file persistent?

• Rails - why would a model inside RAILS_ROOT/lib not be available in production mode?

  Hi - I have a class located inside RAILS_ROOT/lib folder, which I use in one of my helpers, and it works great in development. When I switch to production, the application throws a NameError (uninitialized constant SomeHelper::SomeClass), and I have to load it manually in the helper: load "#{Rails.root}/lib/some_class.rb" module SomeHelper def some_method sc = SomeClass.new # blah end end I was under the impression that everything inside RAILS_ROOT/lib/* should be available all to the app - is there anything I need to configure to make this happen in prod mode? thanks.
