• receiving error #1009 in flash cs4 actionscript3

  I'm having a weird issue where my buttons will work initially and direct me to an appropriate page, but when i go back to that page and try to use the buttons the roll-overs work but none of the buttons direct to a different page. This is the actionscript on the initial page with the buttons. If I choose any of these buttons they work.   So I'm a beginner in XML DOM and JavaScript but I've run into an issue. I'm using the script to display my XML data in a table on an existing site. The problem comes in nesting a loop in my JavaScript code. I somewhat understand why it's doing that, but I don't know how to nest another loop so when the script runs it displays all the titles for an author, not just the first. Whenever I try to nest a loop it breaks the entire script.

  I have been fiddling with this code for a few days. Mind you I am a beginner. I just want to get my script to be able to download a remote file, and scan MineCraft plugins. I got the scan plugins to work, but I'm having two other issues. • iphone sdk - problem pasting into current text location

  Hi guys I'm trying to paste text right into where the cursor currently is. I have been trying to do what it says at: - http://dev.ragfield.com/2009/09/insert-text-at-current-cursor-location.html The main deal is that I can't just go textbox1.text (etc) because the textfield is in the middle of a custom cell. I want to just have some text added to where the cursor is (when I press a custom key on a keyboard). -I just want to paste a decimal into the textbox... • How do I handle calls to AudioTrack from jni without crashing?

  I was trying to write to an AudioTrack from a jni callback, and I get a signal 7 (SIGBUS), fault addr 00000000. I have looked at the Wolf3D example for odroid and they seem to use a android.os.Handler to post a Runnable that will do an update in the correct thread context. I have also tried AttachCurrentThread, but I fail in this case also. It works to play the sound when running from the constructor even if I wrap it in a thread and then post it to the handler. When I do the "same" via a callback from jni it fails. I assume I am braeaking some rules, but I haven't been able to figure out what they are. So far, I haven't found the answer here on SO. So I wonder if anyone knows how this should be done. EDIT: Answered below. The following code is to illustrate the problem. The date was sucessfully inserted in the temp table but while inserting from temp table to final table it crashed with error. We had now task to validate incorrect date value before we insert in final table. Jr. Developer asked me how can he do that? We check for incorrect data type (varchar, int, NULL) but this is incorrect date value. • Help with infrequent segmentation fault in accessing boost::unordered_multimap or struct

  I'm having trouble debugging a segmentation fault. I'd appreciate tips on how to go about narrowing in on the problem. The error appears when an iterator tries to access an element of a struct Infection, defined as: struct Infection { public: explicit Infection( double it, double rt ) : infT( it ), recT( rt ) {} double infT; // infection start time double recT; // scheduled recovery time }; These structs are kept in a special structure, InfectionMap: typedef boost::unordered_multimap< int, Infection > InfectionMap; Every member of class Host has an InfectionMap carriage. Recovery times and associated host identifiers are kept in a priority queue. When a scheduled recovery event arises in the simulation for a particular strain s in a particular host, the program searches through carriage of that host to find the Infection whose recT matches the recovery time (double recoverTime). (For reasons that aren't worth going into, it's not as expedient for me to use recT as the key to InfectionMap; the strain s is more useful, and coinfections with the same strain are possible.) assert( carriage.size() > 0 ); pair<InfectionMap::iterator,InfectionMap::iterator> ret = carriage.equal_range( s ); InfectionMap::iterator it; for ( it = ret.first; it != ret.second; it++ ) { if ( ((*it).second).recT == recoverTime ) { // produces seg fault carriage.erase( it ); } } I get a "Program received signal EXC_BAD_ACCESS, Could not access memory. Reason: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at address..." on the line specified above. The recoverTime is fine, and the assert(...) in the code is not tripped. As I said, this seg fault appears 'randomly' after thousands of successful recovery events. How would you go about figuring out what's going on? I'd love ideas about what could be wrong and how I can further investigate the problem. Can anyone give me tips on how to figure out how this problem arises? I'm trying to use gdb. Frame 0 from the backtrace reads "#0 0x0000000100001d50 in Host::recover (this=0x100530d80, s=0, recoverTime=635.91148029170529) at Host.cpp:317" I'm not sure what useful information I can extract here. Update 2 I added a break; after the carriage.erase(it). This works, but I have no idea why (e.g., why it would remove the seg fault at (*it).first.

  Hi, I'm a beginner level programmer trying to make a game app for the iphone and I've encountered a possible issue with the memory management (exc_bad_access) of my program so far. I've searched and read dozens of articles regarding memory management (including apple's docs) but I still can't figure out what exactly is wrong with my codes.
