    I'm fairly new to using JSON objects and I'm kinda stuck. I've got an JSON object that was converted from this array: Array ( [status] => success [id] => 1 [name] => Zone 1 [description] => Awesome zone deze.. [tiles] => Array ( // Column for the tile grid [0] => Array ( // Row for the tile grid [0] => Array ( [tileID] => 1 [rotation] => 0 ) [1] => Array ( [tileID] => 1 [rotation] => 0 ) // Etc.. ) [1] => Array // etc.. etc.. ) ) I use this object to render out an isometric grid for my HTML5 Canvas game. I'm building a map editor and to put more tiles on the map, i'll have to add values to this json object. This is how I would do it in PHP: mapData[column][row] = array( 'tileID' => 1, 'rotation' => 0 ); So my question is, how do I achieve this with a JSON object in javascript? Thanks in advance! Nick Update I've ran into an error: can't convert undefined to object mapDataTiles[mouseY][mouseX] = { tileID: editorSelectedTile, rotation: 0 }; This is the code i use for clicking & then saving the new tile to the JSON object. At first I though that one of my parameters was 'undefined', so i logged those to the console but they came out perfectly.. // If there is already a tile placed on these coordinates if( mapDataTiles[mouseX] && mapDataTiles[mouseX][mouseY] ) { mapDataTiles[mouseX][mouseY]['tileID'] = editorSelectedTile; } // If there is no tile placed on these coordinates else { mapDataTiles[mouseX][mouseY] = { tileID: editorSelectedTile, rotation: 0 }; } My variables have the following values: MouseX: 5 MouseY: 17 tileID: 2 Also weird fact, that for some coordinates it does actually work and save new data to the array. mapDataTiles[mouseY][mouseX] = { tileID: editorSelectedTile, rotation: 0 };

    Currently I am stuck trying to find the intersection of three sets. Now these sets are really lists that I am converting into sets, and then trying to find the intersection of. Here's what I have so far: for list1 in masterlist: list1=thingList1 for list2 in masterlist: list2=thingList2 for list3 in masterlist: list3=thingList3 d3=[set(thingList1), set(thingList2), set(thingList3)] setmatches c= set.intersection(*map(set,d3)) print setmatches and I'm getting set([]) Script terminated. I know there's a much simpler and better way to do this, but I can't find one...

    Hi, I have a MapView with an ItemizedOverlay and a bunch of OverlayItem:s. When an OverlayItem is tapped on custom layout balloon is displayed on MapView. I can add a close button that hides the balloon layout. But how can I close the balloon if the user tap:s on the map outside the balloon? I have an OnTouchListener on the MapView, but how can I from this localize the open balloon layout and hide it? /P

  • ProgressDialog does not disappear after executing dismiss, hide or cancel?

    Hello, I have an Overlay extension which has 2 dialogs as private attributes - one Dialog and one ProgressDialog. After clicking on the Overlay in the MapView, the Dialog object appears. When the user clicks a button in the Dialog it disappears and the ProgressDialog is shown. Simultaneously a background task is started by notifying a running Service. When the task is done, a method (buildingLoaded) in the Overlay object is called to switch the View and to dismiss the ProgressDialog. The View is being switched, the code is being run (I checked with the debugger) but the ProgressDialog is not dismissed. I also tried hide() and cancel() methods, but nothing works. Can somebody help me? There's SortedList which is good for a single value (frequency), but I want to map it back to the word. SortedDictionary orders by key, not value. Some resort to a custom class, but what's the cleanest way?

  • MVC Partial View Not Refreshing when using JSON data

    I have a dropdown that I'm using to refresh a div with checkboxes. I am trying to figure out why my view is not refreshing if I pass in data in JSON format. If I pass in just a regular string, the view refreshes. If I pass in JSON data, the view does not refresh. If I step through the code in the Partial view, I can see the correct number of records are being passed in, however the view doesn't get refreshed with the correct number of checkboxes. I tried to add some cache directives, it didn't work.   • Search and annotate in MKMapView?

    Hi, In my application I have to search five nearest locations of "medical services" using the user current location and annotate those locations on my MKMapView. Can any one tell me how to search with a particular keyword (eg. medical services, garages) by using user current locations and annotate onto the map and when the user taps on the annotations it should show the complete address of the locations which is annotated. Can anyone help me in this?
