  • auto indent in vim string replacement new line?

    I'm using the following command to auto replace some code (adding a new code segment after an existing segment) %s/my_pattern/\0, \r some_other_text_i_want_to_insert/ The problem is that with the \r, some_other_text_i_want_to_insert gets inserted right after the new line: mycode( some_random_text my_pattern ) would become mycode( some_random_text my_pattern some_other_text_i_want_to_insert <--- this line is NOT indented ) instead of mycode( some_random_text my_pattern some_other_text_i_want_to_insert <--- this line is now indented ) i.e. the new inserted line is not indented. Is there any option in vim or trick that I can make the newly inserted line indented? Thanks.

  • Does Python/Scipy have a firls( ) replacement (i.e. a weighted, least squares, FIR filter design)?

    I am porting code from Matlab to Python and am having trouble finding a replacement for the firls( ) routine. It is used for, least-squares linear-phase Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter design. I looked at scipy.signal and nothing there looked like it would do the trick. Of course I was able to replace my remez and freqz algorithsm, so that's good. On one blog I found an algorithm that implemented this filter without weighting, but I need one with weights.   • Do you know why introducing jquery ui autocomplete for my dropdown boxes is also changing my listbox

    I have that code: #!/usr/bin/python -u localport = 9876 import sys, re, os from subprocess import * tun = Popen(["./newtunnel", "22", str(localport)], stdout=PIPE, stderr=STDOUT) print "** Started tunnel, waiting to be ready ..." for l in tun.stdout: sys.stdout.write(l) if re.search("Waiting for connection", l): print "** Ready for SSH !" break The "./newtunnel" will not exit, it will constantly output more and more data to stdout. However, that code will not give any output and just keeps waiting in the tun.stdout. When I kill the newtunnel process externally, it flushes all the data to tun.stdout. So it seems that I can't get any data from the tun.stdout while it is still running. Why is that? How can I get the information? Note that the default bufsize for Popen is 0 (unbuffered). I can also specify bufsize=0 but that doesn't change anything.

    I work on something in Seattle Repy which is a restricted subset of Python. Anyway, I wanted to implement my own Queue that derives from a list: class Queue(list): job_count = 0 def __init__(self): list.__init__(self) def appendleft(item): item.creation_time = getruntime() item.current_count = self.job_count self.insert(0, item) def pop(): item = self.pop() item.pop_time = getruntime() return item Now I call this in my main server, where I use my own Job class to pass Jobs to the Queue: mycontext['queue'] = Queue() # ... job = Job(str(ip), message) mycontext['queue'].appendleft(job) The last line raises the following exception: Exception (with type 'exceptions.TypeError'): appendleft() takes exactly 1 argument (2 given) I'm relatively new to Python, so could anyone explain to me why it would think that I gave appendleft() two arguments when there obviously was only one?

  • Huge file in Clojure and Java heap space error

    I posted before on a huge XML file - it's a 287GB XML with Wikipedia dump I want ot put into CSV file (revisions authors and timestamps). I managed to do that till some point. Before I got the StackOverflow Error, but now after solving the first problem I get: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space error.     I am using my gmail's email account to send emails in asp.net website. It works fine on hosting server but it donot works if I try to sent email on loclserver.
