  • Appstore - An application with only Youtube videos will be accepted?

    - by Pittor
Hi, this is my question... I have a compilation(UITableView) of videos from youtube of a particular gender(funny videos, for example) and I want to know if this app will pass the approval process. These videos are freely accessible by anyone in youtube, but ins't uploaded/recorded by me. This is a concept: http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/3466/img0075.png (obviously with a cool skin design and more options like Favorites, Share with friends, etc) Thanks for reading.

  • How to convert the amount of indentation in a source code file?

    - by toby
I find that I now often work with code bases that have different amounts of indentation. Some use 2 spaces, some use 4 space, some even use tabs! Once in a while, I have to share code between these codebases, or, sometimes I use an incorrect amount of indentation by mistake. Is there a tool or a text editor feature that will convert between different amounts of indentation?

  • serve static play2.x content from CDN

    - by Adam Lane
In development mode I would like to have assets served locally and when deployed in production I would like them served from the CDN. Anyone using play2 and serving content from CDN be willing to share how they are doing it? // Thinking of something like this in the routes file... @if(play.Play.isDev()) { GET /assets/*file controllers.Assets.at(path="/public", file) } else { GET CDNPATH/assets/*file controllers.Assets.at(path="CDNPATH", file) } (Note: using 2.0.2 because of the headers fix https://github.com/playframework/Play20/pull/276)

  • Redirecting only if user asks for the root of the domain nad are froma particular country

    - by lphmedia
Hi, I need a rule and condition to handle this scenario: User from US visits www.domain.com, domain.com, www.domain.com/ or domain.com/ this should be redirected to www.domain.com/usvisitor/ However, if a user from the US visits www.domain.com/anydirectory it will let them straight through without a redirection occurring. eg. RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / GeoIPEnable On GeoIPDBFile /var/share/GeoIP/GeoIP.dat RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{ENV:GEOIP_COUNTRY_CODE} ^US$ RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^domain.com$ [L] RewriteRule ^/$ http://www.domain.com/usvisitor$1 [L] I know the RewriteConditons and rules are wrong - just can't get my head around it!

I want to quit application in Android. Just put a "quit" button, which kills my app. I know I shouldn't do this. I know that this is not the philosophy of the OS. If you know how it can be done, pls share. In the app, I have many opened activities, so "finish()" will not do the job. Thank you for your information in advance. Danail

Is there a way to automatically run the update command after issuing the Team - Share - Pull from default command from the menu? TortoiseHg has a configure repository option for the Synchronize command, but I believe this will only apply when using the Hg Explorer Integration.

  • Can Visual Studio manage function prototypes for me in C++ header files?

    - by Gibybo
In C++, the common practice is to declare functions in header files and define them in cpp files. This leads to always having two copies of every function's prototype. Then whenever I want to change a function's name/return value/parameter, I have to manually change it in both files. This seems unnecessarily tedious and there must be lots of people that share my pain, so is there a way to automate these changes between files in VS? Bonus points for vim solutions as well.

However, I don't know where to start and my Googling effort have been unsuccessful - I guess that I am searching using the wrong terms. It the the way that the wheel moves and interacts with the other segments around it that interests me. I'd really appreciate any tutorials / help that anyone can share.
