  • DHCP settings out of range Internet shuts off after a few minutes

    I recently upgraded from windows eight to windows 8.1 I do not know if this has anything to do with anything I have a 64 bit OS. My Internet goes off by itself every 5 minutes even though my wireless icon at the lower right of the screen still shows connected I had an error message in the last event in it said that might DHCP settings were out of range. I get my internet at my house through a wireless portable hotspot through my smart phone. But i haven't ever had any problems before and i only have this problem on this network. If i turn airplane mode on and reset my network card, the internet will come back to life but soon die. i don't experience this problem while on a different network or if i'm on WiFi.     Hi, I have the following NavigableImagePanel, it is under BSD license and I found it in the web. What I want to do with this panel is as follow: I want to add a JScrollPane to it in order to show images in their full size and let the users to re-center the image using the small navigation panel. Right now, the panel resize the images to fit them in the current panel size. I want it to load the image in its real size and let users to navigate to different parts of the image using the navigation panel. //rootElement.XPathSelectElement(xPathQuery) = parentElement; } these 2 functions i have used to update xml and to get data from xml and fill into controls. but for the tags where there are multiple records... i am not able to find any solution /control using which i an do it easily. coz my field's value is in attribute named "Value" when in the examples i saw its between opening and closing tag.. i have 2 methods to do so. 1 . i make one page to edit a single record and pass id of record to that page on editing. open the page in iframe on same page to edit and in page_load get data from database for id passed and fill it in control. 2 . i store xml on server as physical file and use it in page i opened in iframe to edit the record. so i am confused... can anybody please guide me that what shpould i do to let user provide interface to edit this xml data/user profile ?

The problem is, I need to delete a row based on the id and another column value, let's say user_id. How to add this user_id to the POST data???     Hi, I'm developing a Silverlight 4 app and am using the 2010 Q1 release 1 RadGridView. I'm developing this app using the MVVM pattern and trying to keep my codebehind to a minimum. On my View I have a RadGridView and this binds to a property on my ViewModel. I am setting a property via the SelectedItem. I have a nested RadGridView and I want to set a property on my ViewModel to the SelectedItem but I cannot. I think the DataContext of my nested grid is the element in the parent's bound collection, rather than my ViewModel. I can easily use codebehind to set my ViewModel property from the SelectionChanged event on the nested grid, but I'd rather not do this. I have tried to use my viewModelName in the ElementName in my nested grid to specify that for SelectedItem, the ViewModel is the DataContext, but I cannot get this to work. Any ideas?     Hello! I have two UserControls ("UserControlParentView" and "UserControlChildView") with MVVM pattern implemented in both controls. Parent control is a container for Child control and child control's property should be updated by data binding from Parent control in order to show/hide some check box inside Child control. Parent Control Description UserControlParentViewModel has property: private bool isShowCheckbox = false; public bool IsShowCheckbox { get { return isShowCheckbox; } set { isShowCheckbox = value; NotifyPropertyChanged("IsShowCheckbox"); } } UserControlParentViewModel - how I set DataContext of Parent control: public UserControlParentView() { InitializeComponent(); this.DataContext = new UserControlParentViewModel(); } UserControlParentView contains toggle button (in XAML), bound to UserControlParentViewModel's property IsShowCheckbox <ToggleButton Grid.Column="1" IsChecked="{Binding IsShowCheckbox, Mode=TwoWay}"></ToggleButton> Also Parent control contains instance of child element (somewhere in XAML) <local:UserControlChildView IsCheckBoxVisible="{Binding IsShowCheckbox}" ></local:UserControlChildView> so property in child control should be updated when user togggle/untoggle button. Child control contains Boolean property to be updated from parent control, but nothing happened! Breakpoint never fired!   • Exception on SslStream.AuthenticateAsClient (The message was badly formatted)

    I have got wierd problem going on. I am trying to connect to Apple server via TCP/SSL. I am using a Client certificate provided by Apple for push notifications. I installed the certificate on my server (Win2k3) in both Local Trusted Root certificates and Local Personal Certificates folder. Now I have a class library that deals with that connection, when i call this class library from a console application running from the server it works absolutely fine, but when i call that class library from an asp.net page or asmx web service I get the following exception. A call to SSPI failed, see inner exception. The message received was unexpected or badly formatted. This is my code: X509Certificate cert = new X509Certificate(certificateLocation, certificatePassword); X509CertificateCollection certCollection = new X509CertificateCollection(new X509Certificate[1] { cert }); // OPEN the new SSL Stream SslStream ssl = new SslStream(client.GetStream(), false, new RemoteCertificateValidationCallback(ValidateServerCertificate), null); ssl.AuthenticateAsClient(ipAddress, certCollection, SslProtocols.Default, false); ssl.AuthenticateAsClient is where the error gets thrown. This is driving me nuts. If the console application can connect fine, there must be some problem with asp.net network layer security that is failing the authentication... not sure, perhaps need to add something or some sort of security policy in the web.config. Also just to point out that i can connect fine on my local development machine both with console and website. Anyone has got any ideas?

    Hi, I am trying to send method invocations from JavaScript to Objective-C and vice versa. Everything works fine for window.location triggered urls, which are catched by shouldStartLoadWithRequest. Now if I try to use an AJAX call instead, shouldStartLoadWithRequest is not called. Is there a way to do this? Mainly I do not want to be restricted to the max URL size on data that can be passed from JavaScript to Objective-C. Basically, every row has a 'Check Out' button that if clicked should be able to send a post back to the server and update a shopping cart and then change the button text to 'Undo Check Out'.   • Struggling running ASP MVC2 on IIS6.0

    Hi I could use a little Help using MVC2 on an IIS6.0 Its an MVC2 RC2 [.NET 3.5]. I followed the famous Haacked Tutorial, created a virtual folder, created a Default.aspx Website for my Project, put everything to my virtual folder. The routing is modified, using wildcard mapping [anyway its not running without, too], according to the Tutorial. I also checked, that all Webservices are running [asp.net 2 / asp.net 4 / active server pages]. The routing is working fine on my development machine, even checked it using Haacks routing debugger ... [http://haacked.com/archive/2008/03/13/url-routing-debugger.aspx] Seems fine so far, but I get only 404 - not found errors. Is there something I might be missing ?     I am using Infragistics 2009 vol 1. My UltraGrid is bound to a BindingList of business objects "A" having themself a BindingList property of business objects "B". It results in having two bands: one named "BindingList`1", the other one "ListOfB" thanks to the currency manager. I would like to refresh the GroupBy sort of the grid whenever a change is performed on the child band through the child business object and INotifyPropertyChange.
