  • Why do custom styled Google Maps (v3) not support marker animation (pin drop)?

    For example, I cannot combine the concepts of this simple example: link text with the concepts of this example: link text, which uses the styled V3 api. In Chrome I get an error saying that: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'DROP' of undefined And it refers to this line of code: animation: google.maps.Animation.DROP, When I replace the javascript link reference to use the version of the API from the first example, the error goes away, but I lose the custom styling.   • trouble setting up TreeViews in pygtk

    I've got some code in a class that extends gtk.TreeView, and this is the init method. I want to create a tree view that has 3 columns. A toggle button, a label, and a drop down box that the user can type stuff into. The code below works, except that the toggle button doesn't react to mouse clicks and the label and the ComboEntry aren't drawn. (So I guess you can say it doesn't work). It goes through a page, looks for <a> tags whose href points to tinyurl.com, and adds a "title" attribute that identifies the true destination of the link. Much of the important code comes from an older (unsupported) Greasemonkey script that quits working when the inner component that held the XPath implementation changed.     I'm trying to programmatically select the text in a textbox, and focus on it too, so that when the form is launch the user only has to start typing and it will replace what is already there.     I have a problem as I'm conditionally including the Prototype-based Lightbox script for IE6 as it works better than the jQuery plugin. Of course the two libraries conflict but the official solution is not really feasible for me as i would have to replace tons of $ with the alternative no-conflict syntax. Is there any other solution for me, keeping in mind that in my case it would be easier to have Prototype work nicely with jQuery than the other way around?

    I'm currently trying to build a RDP client in python and I came across the following issue with a len check; From: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc240836%28v=prot.10%29.aspx "81 2a - ConnectData::connectPDU length = 298 bytes Since the most significant bit of the first byte (0x81) is set to 1 and the following bit is set to 0, the length is given by the low six bits of the first byte and the second byte. Hence, the value is 0x12a, which is 298 bytes." This sounds weird. For normal len checks, I'm simply using : struct.pack("h",len(str(PacketLen))) but in this case, I really don't see how I can calculate the len as described above. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated !
