• Manager property is not available for Full Text Search (SharePoint 2010)

  Hi, I had created a web part on MOSS 2007 which displays a organizational chart by searching (Full Text) the user profiles. To identify the subordinates of a user, I used to search for users with the particular user in Manager property. The query looked like this: SELECT AccountName, PreferredName, Manager, WorkEmail FROM scope() WHERE ("SCOPE" = 'People') AND Manager = 'domain\parent_user' But, the same query does not run in SharePoint 2010 as Manager crawled property does not exists. So, I created a new crawled property and mapped it to People:Manager(Text) now, the Manager property is always empty. Even a full crawl after clearing the indexes also not helping. Can anyone please help me in getting manager information in Full Text Search? Thanks in advance!

  I have an xml as below < Image>ImageValue11 <Type>png<Type> <Value>ImageValue11</ Value> </ Image> Here ImageValue1 is present in two places.I want to remove innerText for Image node which is the parent.For which i am usign below code XmlNode customImageNode = imagedoc.SelectSingleNode("//Image"); customImageNode.InnerText = string.empty; But this is clearing the child nodes as well.Please let me know how to clear this test off .Looking for a generic solution.

  I have two arrays like below var arr = ["x", "y", "z", "a", "b", "c"]; var tgtArr = [{val:"a"}, {val:"b"}]; It does not need to be as lengthy as Array `arr` This is what I have tried var dest = new Array(arr.length); for(var i = 0; i < arr.length; i++){ for(var k = 0; k < tgtArr.length; k++){ dest[i] = dest[i] || []; if(tgtArr[k].val == arr[i]){ dest[i] = arr[i]; } } } console.log(dest); My Expected output is (for above tgtArr value) [{}, {}, {}, {val:"a"}, {val:"b"}, {}]; if tgtArr is empty Array [{},{},{},{},{},{}] Here is the fiddle. Any alternative for this, it seems not a good way to me as I am iterating through the entire array everytime.

• Multiple sessions or one?

  I am using a security token for a form, the form is dynamically built depending on selection through jquery. So the form is called quite a lot and different tokens created every-time. So.. if the same user calls the form 3 times the session would be rewritten? Would it help at all to check if the token exists and not create one unless its empty? or perhaps someone knows of a good way to work with form tokens? If 3 users are on then the token is created 3 times with different values, right? If I check for the token and 3 users are on then the session is created 3 times with the same values?

• Delphi: what are the 8 mystery components on my form?

  When I iterate of the controls on my form, I see those which I placed there at design time or run time. They are all of type TEdit, Tmemo, TComboBox, etc ... However, there are always exactly eight which I do not recognize. I can skip over them, since they are not of a type which interests me, but I am curios. I am guessing system controls like min/max/close. Their Name property is empty. Is there any way I can determine what type they are (without explicitly testing for every standard component derived from TWinControl) ? I am curious - but not yellow ;-)

  Hello All, I want to merge two or more DataTables Colum by Column. I am developing C# Windows Application. My use case is below: I have empty data grid in my application. user will drag and drop one column from available column list box into data grid. The data grid will start displaying data for that column. Now, I will drag another column into data grid and now grid should get populated data of two columns. This will repeat till user feels that he has dropped all necessary columns. What is best way to do this? Is there any performance hits with large number of rows typically 1 million? Please help.   Hi , i am reading the excel sheet from c# by using interop services. My sheet have one of cell value as 0.00. but run time when i checking the value of that cell in c# code I am getting "1.845E-07" this value. When i check in excel sheet, on that cell right clicked , say format cell I got "1.845E-07" value in sample section. How to get exact value?   I have a project where I need to select only the users that answered to some questions in a certain way (based on a filter). The filter table (filter) looks like this question | answer Q1 | A Q2 | B The user table (answers) looks like this user | question | answer 1 | Q1 | A 1 | Q2 | D 2 | Q1 | A 2 | Q2 | B How can I select from the user table only the user(s) that match the filter? I tried "SELECT user FROM answers WHERE (question = Q1 AND answer = A) AND (question = Q2 AND answer = B)" and it doesn't work -- I get an empty result. Thank you.

• Add a Component to two different JTabbedPanes

  I have a LinkedList of Components, each of which I would like to add into two different JTabbedPanes. For some reason, Swing is only letting me put each component into one or the other. The code I'm using is the following: /* The two tab panes */ JTabbedPane leftTabs = new JTabbedPane(); JTabbedPane rightTabs = new JTabbedPane(); for (int i=0; i<tabPanes.size(); i++) { rightTabs.add(tabPanes.get(i)); leftTabs.add(tabPanes.get(i)); } Whichever add call I put last is the one that works; if I add to leftTabs last, then rightTabs ends up empty, and vice-versa.   I've worked with J2EE recently and like the idea of struts.xml where I can handle the redirection to pages based on return string from action classes. In PHP, in my new under-development site, I am trying to follow the MVC standards without an MVC framework used from the internet. So I create the controllers, models and views (empty now). The only thing I am really stuck at is when I submit the form in view (insert_product.php) then I will need to create another php page to handle the post data and pass them to controllers. • What is the memoy size of a Java object array after it has been created?

  This probably doesn't even need asking, but I want to make sure I'm right on this. When you create an array of any object in Java like so: Object[] objArr = new Object[10]; The variable objArr is located in stack memory, and it points to a location in the heap where the array object is located. The size of that array in the heap is equal to a 12 byte object header + 4 (or 8, depending on the reference size) bytes * the number of entries in the array. Is this accurate? My question, then, is as follows. Since the array above is empty, does it take up 12 + 4*10 = 52 bytes of memory in the heap immediately after the execution of that line of code? Or does the JVM wait until you start putting things into the array before it instantiates it? Do the null references in the array take up space?
