    I have the following source code public class mod_MyMod extends BaseMod public String Version() { return "1.2_02"; } public void AddRecipes(CraftingManager recipes) { recipes.addRecipe(new ItemStack(Item.diamond), new Object[] { "#", Character.valueOf('#'), Block.dirt }); } When I try to compile it I get the following error: java:11: reached end of file while parsing } What am I doing wrong? Any help appreciated.

It doesn't know class (So I can't use casting) but just needs to call some methods of that class (every class should have that methods). I thought about interfaces but I don't know how.     I have a Java web app that I develop on a Windows machine and will deploy on a Unix machine. There are some file path settings and permissions details that differ on the two (and there is nothing I can do to change this). Is there some way of detecting which machine the app is sitting on (it's only one of two), either by detecting the operating system or the computer's name so I can then using the appropriate settings.
