  • Convert json to a string using jquery

    I have a nested json. I want to post it as a form input value. But, seems like jquery puts "Object object" string into the value. It seems easier to pass around the string and convert into the native form I need, than dealing with json as I don't need to change anything once it is generated.   • Insert a list of objects using MyBatis 3

    I've tried to insert a list in a database but I've got some the error: org.springframework.jdbc.BadSqlGrammarException: SqlSession operation; bad SQL grammar []; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00913: too many values (...). The code that I've used: <insert id="insertListMyObject" parameterType="java.util.List" > INSERT INTO my_table (ID_ITEM, ATT1, ATT2) VALUES <foreach collection="list" item="item" index="index" open="(" close=")" separator=","> #{item.idItem, jdbcType=BIGINT}, #{item.att1, jdbcType=INTEGER}, #{item.att2, jdbcType=STRING} </foreach> </insert> My dao cals the method: SqlSessionTemplate().insert(MAPPER+".insertListMyObject", parameterList); Where the parameterList is: List<MyObjects>.   • Maven assembly plugin and adding system dependencies to the classpath

    Hi, I have some dependencies which I am providing myself. The jars are in the resources directory. In my pom they are scoped as system and I include the path to them. However, when I jar things up using the assembly plugin and use <addClasspath>true</addClasspath> It doesn't add the path of the system jars. How can I get them to be included automatically? Thanks

  • Should I worry about reigning in namespace number/length/scope?

    I've recently reorganized a solution-in-progress from 24 projects to 4. To keep the copious files organized in the "main" project, things are in folders in folders in folders. I think I've preserved a logical, discoverable arrangement of the solution content. As a result, of course, I end up with namespaces like AppName.DataAccess.NHibernate.Fluent.Mappings. Is there any compelling reason that I should care about flattening out the namespace hierarchy when my project has a somewhat deeply nested folder structure? (I am not concerned about resolving or managing using directives; I let ReSharper do all the heavy lifting here.)

  • Two way binding settings problem.

    Hi, I am having a problem using two way binding with a listpicker. I am able to set the value using c# but not in the SelectedItem=".." in xaml. The binding is returning the correct value (and is a value in the listpicker) as i have texted it by assigning the text to a textblock. When the page loads, the binding used on the listpicker causes a System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException The code i am using to set it is: // Update a setting value.   • Reading Resource Files from my own APK in Android Native Environment

    I'm porting to Android. My existing project has a ton of resource files that I'm porting into my Android project. I have them all in /res/raw/, and I would like to access those resources in my native library with functions such as fopen() and such. Can this be done, or do I have to go through JNI for this as well? I would really prefer not to, for ease of porting and possible speed and memory reasons.

    Hi, I have a fairly basic SQL Server Reporting Services report that is using nested row groups. Each sub-group depends on expanding its parent to be visible which is all pretty standard. The layout is something like this: { Company { { Car SUM(Price) { { { Part Price My desired result when expanded is something like this (which I get fine): - SuperCarCompany - SuperCar 20 Door 20 - SuperCar2 70 Door 30 Window 40 - OtherCarCompany - SuperCar2 50 /* Same SuperCar2 */ Door 50 - MoreCarCompany - BestCarEver 535 Engine 500 Door 30 Window 5 And when opened initially something like this: + SuperCarCompany + OtherCarCompany + MoreCarCompany However, I'm getting this: + SuperCarCompany + SuperCar2 70 (i.e. sum of all SuperCar2) + OtherCarCompany + SuperCar 20 + MoreCarCompany + BestCarEver 535 and I can even expand these superfluous rows like this: + SuperCarCompany - SuperCar2 70 (i.e. sum of all SuperCar2) Door 30 (i.e. first child of any SuperCar2) The superflous rows dissapear immediately when I expand the expected row above it (i.e. I'd need to expand all expected rows to get rid of all superflous rows). Any idea on the cause?

    I extend NSOperation (call it A) which contains NSOperationQueue for other NSOperations (which is another extended class different from A, call these operations B). When operation A is running (executing B operations) how do i call a specific function/method on operation A when certain event takes place on B operations?   • M-V-VM, isn't the Model leaking into the View?

    The point of M-V-VM as we all know is about speraration of concerns. In patterns like MVVM, MVC or MVP, the main purpose is to decouple the View from the Data thereby building more flexible components. I'll demonstrate first a very common scenario found in many WPF apps, and then I'll make my point: Say we have some StockQuote application that streams a bunch of quotes and displays them on screen. Typically, you'd have this: StockQuote.cs : (Model) public class StockQuote { public string Symbol { get; set; } public double Price { get; set; } } StockQuoteViewModel.cs : (ViewModel) public class StockQuoteViewModel { private ObservableCollection<StockQuote> _quotes = new ObservableCollection<StockQuote>(); public ObservableCollection<StockQuote> Quotes { get { return _quotes; } } } StockQuoteView.xaml (View) <Window x:Class="WpfApplication1.Window1" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:local="clr-namespace:WpfApplication1" Title="Window1" Height="300" Width="300"> <Window.DataContext> <local:StockQuoteViewModel/> </Window.DataContext> <Window.Resources> <DataTemplate x:Key="listBoxDateTemplate"> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal"> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Symbol}"/> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Price}"/> </StackPanel> </DataTemplate> </Window.Resources> <Grid> <ListBox ItemTemplate="{StaticResource listBoxDateTemplate}" ItemsSource="{Binding Quotes}"/> </Grid> </Window> And then you'd have some kind of service that would feed the ObservableCollection with new StockQuotes. Which basically means, our View has knowledge of the Model. Doesn't that violate the whole paradigm of M-V-VM? Or am I missing something here....?

  • Passing a non-iterable to list.extend ()

    Hello, I am creating a public method to allow callers to write values to a device, call it write_vals() for example. Since these values will by typed live, I would like to simplify the user's life by allowing them type in either a list or a single value, depending on how many values they need to write. For example: write_to_device([1,2,3]) or write_to_device(1) My function would like to work with a flat list, so I tried to be clever and code something like this: input_list = [] input_list.extend( input_val ) This works swimmingly when the user inputs a list, but fails miserably when the user inputs a single integer: TypeError: 'int' object is not iterable Using list.append() would create a nested list when a list was passed in, which would be an additional hassle to flatten. Checking the type of the object passed in seems clumsy and non-pythonic and wishing that list.extend() would accept non-iterables has gotten me nowhere. So has trying a variety of other coding methods. Suggestions (coding-related only, please) would be greatly appreciated.

I have this function that returns 1 if the number of black pixels is greater than treshold def checkBlackPixels( img, threshold ): width = img.width height = img.height nchannels = img.nChannels step = img.widthStep dimtot = width * height data = img.imageData black = 0 for i in range( 0, height ): for j in range( 0, width ): r = data[i*step + j*nchannels + 0] g = data[i*step + j*nchannels + 1] b = data[i*step + j*nchannels + 2] if r == 0 and g == 0 and b == 0: black = black + 1 if black >= threshold * dimtot: return 1 else: return 0 The loop (scan each pixel of a given image) works good when the input is an RGB image...but if the input is a single channel image I get this error: for j in range( width ): TypeError: Nested sequences should have 2 or 3 dimensions The input single channel image (called 'rg' in the next example) is taken from an RGB image called 'src' processed with cvSplit and then cvAbsDiff cvSplit( src, r, g, b, 'NULL' ) rg = cvCreateImage( cvGetSize(src), src.depth, 1 ) # R - G cvAbsDiff( r, g, rg ) I've also already noticed that the problem comes from the difference image got from cvSplit... Anyone can help me? Thank you

  • How to set property only on second column of a ListView?

    Introduction I have a ListView and want to format only the second column. The following XAML code does that: <ListView x:Name="listview"> <ListView.View> <GridView> <GridViewColumn Header="Property" DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding Path=Key}" Width="100"/> <!-- <GridViewColumn Header="Value" DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding Path=Value}" Width="250">--> <GridViewColumn Header="Value" Width="250"> <GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> <DataTemplate> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=Value}" Foreground="CornflowerBlue" AutomationProperties.Name={Binding Path="Key"}/> </DataTemplate> </GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> </GridViewColumn> </GridView> </ListView.View> </ListView> The one problem I have is that the AutomationProperties.Name property is not being set. I was checking it with the Coded UI Test Builder and the property is empty. The Text and the Foreground property are being set correctly. Question Does anyone know why AutomationProperties.Name is not being set?     Here's what I'm doing (sorry for the variable names, I'm not using those in my code): File.open("out_file_1.txt", "w") do |out_1| File.open("out_file_2.txt", "w") do |out_2| File.open_and_process("in_file_1.txt", "r") do |in_1| File.open_and_process("in_file_2.txt", "r") do |in_2| while line_1 = in_1.gets do line_2 = in_2.gets #input files have the same number of lines #process data and output to files end end end end end The open_and_process method is just to open the file and close it once it's done. It's taken from the pickaxe book. Anyway, the main problem is that the code is nested too deeply. I can't load all the files' contents into memory, so I have to iterate line by line. Is there a better way to do this? Or at least prettify it?
