  • firefox scales images poorly

    Hi, I'm using Ubuntu Linux and when I zoom in on a page with "CTRL - +" the images become ugly, i.e. Firefox doesn't scale them correctly. Using Chromium-browser I don't have this issue. I have this problem on several machines with various versions of Firefox (3.5-3.6). Here is an example: http://xs.to/image-2AA4_4BDA24DE.jpg . Any idea how to change the scaling behaviour of Firefox?     How can I get the state of a modifier key using VB.NET on the Compact Framework, in this case Windows Mobile 6.1. I want to be able to determine if the following keys are pressed or locked: Shift CTRL ALT and for the Psion Teklogix machines Orange Blue Although I may be able to work this out, if I can determine the others.     Crystal Report is working fine on local database,but its not working on windows server 2008 when i deployed it on IIS 7. I have run Crystal report run time also.I copied CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.dll, CrystalDecisions.ReportSource.dll and CrystalDecisions.Shared.dll from C:\Program Files (x86)\Business Objects\Common\3.5\managed\dotnet2 into bin folder of my application.Still its not showing anything and not throwing any error also.     we have the problem of a very slow queue listing. If there are more than 15 tickets in a single queue it takes up to 4-5 seconds for creating the view. This problems occure since we're using OTRS 3.1 We are running OTRS 3.1.4 with the KIX4OTRS extension on a virtualized Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. We tried yet: known performance tweaks provided in the manuals. creating extra database indexes installation on physical machines (no positive effects) with Ubuntu 12.04 / 12.04.1 Any ideas?

First I thought about a regular Client/Server app but now I think best would be if the app could act as HTTP server and send HTML to connected browsers. Does anybody know if there is a library available to add HTTP server functionality to an app? Ideally it would be able to serve ASP.NET content.

    I've referenced the MSMQ v3 Object Library in a VS2010 C# project only to get: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040154): Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {0188401C-247A-4FED-99C6-BF14119D7055} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)). I've registered the library the reference points to: regsvr32 C:\windows\system32\mqoa.dll What am I missing? Assuming this works, what will I have to do at deployment to ensure the app will run on other machines with MSMQ installed?

  • msysgit - sh.exe - fork: Permission denied - Vista 64 bit

    I installed msysgit on other Windows machines with no problems. On this Vista 64 bit Ultimate box, I installed the 3 most recent versions of msysgit. On all three installs, when I do a "git bash here", I get exactly this on the command window: sh.exe": fork: Permission denied sh.exe"-3.1$ NThe git command doesn't work. I get the same permission denied message. Any clues as to how to fix this?

  • Network communication across two private network

    Hi All, I am trying to implement a peer to peer communication .. I use sockets for communication between them. I want to know if there are any ways i can use the same sort of communication when the two peers are behind two private Networks (They dont know each others public ip address.) I can think of a shared buffer in a well known location as a means of communication. But is there some other way to get this done?
