    I know it's possible to deploy earlier versions of the .NET framework using AD deployment, for example: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc160717.aspx. How do it do this for .NET 4? I tried unpacking the standalone .NET 4 installer and deploying the netfx_Extended_x86.msi package. This didn't work. After a reboot the event log shows that it tried but it failed to install with a message saying to run setup.exe.

    We have an WPF Application build on .net framework 3.5. Some testers find if they uninstall .net framework 3.5, but install .net framework 4.0, our APP fails to launch itself. Dose this mean that .net framework 4.0 does not include all 3.5 libs, and users have to install .net 3.5 even though they have 4.0? I see here are some migration issues listed by Microsoft http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee941656.aspx#windows_presentation_foundation_wpf Are they all breaking changes so that the backward compatibility is ruined?   • Redirecting users in JSP from within a includes - java syntax error

    Hey everyone, So my setup for my web application is that I have a general header and footer and then I just include them in all my other pages so that all the common elements for all the pages are in a single page. The only problem I'm running into is when I want to redirect the user back to a login page if the "username" session has not already been created. The problem that I"m running into is that I have an if statement at the top of my header.jsp and then I have the else in the footer.jsp and it is giving me a java syntax error. Any ideas?
