  • Fix elements within objects at their position? (Prevent movement when resizing)

    I would like to know if it is possible to fix elements at their absolute position within custom elements in InDesign CS5? I created a kind of speech bubble and I would like to place a stripline within this bubble to separate two content areas. Just a little scheme to show the desired layout as Pseudo-Markup :D <speech-bubble> <textbox>HEADER SECTION</textbox> <stripline> <textbox>Some other text</textbox> </speech-bubble> I created something like this but with two separate elements which aren't connected. So I have to select both of them in order to move the whole bubble. Then I tried to connect them using Object->Paths->Create linked path but then the stripline moves and the HEADER SECTION moves too. All in all I would like to have a speech bubble which can be resized in order to hold more text but it shouldn't make the HEADER_SECTION larger or move the stripline. Hope you understand what I mean :D Thanks in advance!

  • Stop observe_field from observing

    I am using the rails helper observe_field to observe a the input of a textfield: <%= observe_field :word_word, :frequency => 0.25, :function => "wordObserve('#{@word_str}')" %> When the textfield input becomes a certain value, I would like to stop observing. I have tried both Event.stop() and Event.stopObserving(element, eventName, handler) but neither seem to work. Any ideas?

    Input: I have a LaTeX file, with plain text & math formulas. Desired output: I want a list of elements, where each element is: x-coordinate y-coordinate font_name character_id Basically, I want to take a LaTeX file, r"render it", but instead of printing it / getting an image, I want it to say "okay, you have a Sigma symbol here, then you have a 'x' symbol there, ...) What's the easiest way to achieve this? (I'm on Linux) Thanks!

    Hi everybody, I want to have a view with several choices when I click an element of my ListView. I was thinking of implementing an AlertDialog but as I need more than 3 options it is not possible... I also thought of putting my ListView in a FrameLayout and have an view with a gone visibility that I would turn visible at the click and update the content but I don't know If it's a good idea. It is working fine for small amout of data. but for large amout of data like 300 mb it is throwing out of memory exception.     Let's suppose I have button #click, And suppose I bind the on click event as follows: $('#click').click(function(){ alert('own you'+'whatever'+$(this).attr('href')); }); But I want this to refer to some other element, let's say #ahref. If it was a named function I would simply refer it by name: foo.call('#ahref'); How could I use .call() though, if the function is called inline and does not have a name?

  • My App working fine in Samsung but acting weird in HTC Desire S?

    I have created an app demo app using cordova2.7 the app only contains a search box and two buttons in header and the same in the content field. When run the app in Emulator its working fine and then i tried to run it in Samsung mobile its working fine but when i tried to run it in HTC Desire S when i try to enter character to search element its dispalys some white box above the header and when i try to enter the character in the serach field that i have in the content field it does not show the keypad.Please refer the snapshot I have uploaded below from HTC Desire S

    Just curious if the tab bar UI element in screenshots is some built in class or customized. If it is customized, then please give me a hint on what classes I might check to have something like that. The first screenshot is initial tab bar.
