  • Why is my web page left-aligned on iPad?

    I recently built a site and centered it using margin: 0 auto. I also wrapped elements in a .wrapper class with a width set to 960px and then had the parent element extend across the whole browser. When I view the Brands screen on an iPad though, the site is left-aligned and does not extend across the whole window. Any thoughts to why this might be happening, and how to correct it?     Here's what I' trying to do: Currently I am using this to create an array of all elements matching the class name of '.cookie'. Right now I am getting the text value of that element, which is not what I need: var getAllCookies = $('.cookie').text(); var cookiesArray = jQuery.makeArray(getAllCookies); alert(cookiesArray[0]); What I need is to find all elements of a certain class (.cookie), get that elements ID value and store that ID value inside of array.

  • Tree Menu? In JS?

    I need a tree menu. But instead of a listview where you expand/collapse i need a dropdown box with the list and when you click on a element i need the box to update (with the first entry being 'Back') so the menu stays in a neat little dialog. Does this menu have a name? Does anyone know where i can get code to do this?

  • Css For Gridview paging

    Hi My question is, can I control the style of the paging element separately of top and bottom, I have set the paging to appear in both top and bottom of the gridview, and I want to see that the top pagination is little high up in the page, to do that I used the cssClass and set margin-top:20px and made the position: absolute, this does change the position of the top paging area and set it rightly for me, but the bottom pagination has also come up as a result and now sits inside the grid data!! Is there any way to solve this? Thanks and regards Arunendra

  • Twitter api and retweets

    I'm trying to get the last tweet from the people I follow using the twitter api (http://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/friends.json&screen_name=[username]), but I noticed that if the user's last tweet is a retweet, the json data does not contain a "status" element. Using the "user timeline" api does not work either, the last tweet is the last non retweeted tweet. Is there a way to get the real last status, even if it's a RT, through the twitter API?

  • format - Help with printing a table

    This question will probably end in a facepalm, but I've tried for a while and am still stuck despite reading through the hyperspec. Basically what I want to do is something like (format t "~{|~{ ~5d~}|~%~}" '((1 23 2 312) (23 456 1 7890))) but instead of hard-coding the 5 it should be calculated from the list (length of longest element from any nested list + 1) to give something like | 1 23 2 312| | 23 456 1 7890| Maybe I'm thinking way too complicated here and there is an easier way to do what I want, but I think I ran myself into a mental corner that I can't get out of.

    Hi there, I'm loosing my hair trying to figure out why net.sf.json.JSONObject add extra backslash where it shouldn't on my java code : JSONObject obj = new JSONObject (); obj.element ("column_name", "<a href=\"#\" title=\"test\">Test !</a>"); will output : <a href=\"#\" title=\"test\">Test !<\/a> with an extra "\" near <\/a.   • std::set<T>::erase(key). What if key isn't there?

    if I erase an element from an std::set and pass the key, not the iterator, and the key isn't in the set right now, will an exception be thrown? The thing is every second sentence in the MSDN documentation says: "this does blah blah, but it doesn't conform to the standard". So I need to know the standard behaviour. If it was a named function I would simply refer it by name: foo.call('#ahref'); How could I use .call() though, if the function is called inline and does not have a name?

    Im using the MbMenu jQuery plugin. http://plugins.jquery.com/project/mbMenu http://pupunzi.open-lab.com/2009/01/18/mbmenu/ I am probably being ridiculously stupid but I wish to have multiple menus on the same page, but not load them from external files (the html structure of the menu already exists on the page). To me the only place you define what menu is linked to the element you call buildMenu on is the 'template' construction which is a external file. Thanks.
