  From June 19, 2012, Amazon.com customers can borrow All 7 Harry Potter books from Kindle Owner’s Lending Library (KOLL). The books are available in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. Prime Members of Amazon owning Kindle, can choose from 145,000 titles. US customers can borrow for free with no due dates and also as frequently as a month. There are no limits on the number of copies available for the customers. Anyone can read the books simultaneously by borrowing them. The bookmarks in the borrowed books are saved, for the customers to continue reading where they stopped even when they re-borrow the book. Prime members also have the opportunity to enjoy free two day shipping on millions of items and  unlimited streaming of over 18,000 movies and TV episodes. So let's start with one of the most exciting: Oracle VM VirtualBox. VirtualBox is cross-platform virtualization software, oftentimes called a hypervisor, and it runs on Windows, Linux, Solaris and the Mac. Which means that you download it, you install it on your existing platform, and start creating and running virtual machines alongside your existing applications.   Since the first preview of Sesame was published, I've been working on improving it with new features.Today, I've published an update that provides the following: Support for hyperlinks (URLs and email addresses) Improved support for the OData format. More OData producers are supported, including Netflix and vanGuide, for example. Fixed display of images (images used to appear mixed up) Support for image URLs Image zoom (try to hover over pictures in Netflix' Titles or MIX10's Speakers) Support for complex types (test this with Netflix' Titles and the OData Test Service's Suppliers) Partial open types support Partial feed customization support (Products.Name and Products.Description are now displayed for http://services.odata.org/OData/OData.svc for example) Partial HTML support Query number is now unique by connection and not globally Support for query continuation (paging) - See the "Load more" button Partial support for <FunctionImport> (see Movies, Series, Seasons, Discs and Episodes with Netflix) Version number is now displayed More links to examples (coming from http://www.odata.org/producers) provided in the connection dialog You can try all this at the same place as before.   I have to download the html code of a web site during the game. I am taking the poster url of a movie from the imdb web site by scrapping the html ( also other informations ). I have to do the download process many times during the game for different movies. I can download and scrap the html but downloading the html takes too much time and it causes the game to slow down(freeze while downloading). How can I solve this problem? My one approach is to download and scrap all the information and store them in a database before the game and during the game access this information from the database. I think this will work properly but that is not what I exactly want. It would be better if it is dynamic. I also thought of using multi-threading but I am a bit confused about how to implement threading in xna. I read some articles about it but it is not so clear. I mean when should I start the thread and what about the update function etc. I need your help guys

  One of the main new features being touted in Office 2010 is the ability to upload documents to the Web for sharing and collaboration. Today we look at using Office Upload Center to help manage your uploaded documents. Microsoft Office Upload Center  When you upload an Office 2010 document to the web, a handy tool to manage them is the Office Upload Center. It’s a way to see what is being uploaded or what might have failed to reach the servers. It lets you know if a document failed to upload for some reason. In this case it looks like the incorrect credentials were entered when signing into Windows Live. Click on the Resolve button to get a list of actions you can take to get things corrected.   You can access the Upload Center from the icon which appears on the System Tray when uploading documents. Right-click the icon to control notifications, pause uploads, and access its settings. In the Settings section you can choose how Upload Center displays notifications, select the number of days to keep files in Cache, and delete currently cached files. If you find yourself uploading several documents to the web during the day, the Office Upload Center is a nice feature for managing them. • How do I get media players to play ripped dvd files using Handbrake?

  I want to rip my dvd collection to put on a server for my tv. I started this with trying 4 dvds using Handbrake. The first 3 ripped perfectly fine according to the directions I used from LifeHacker (http://lifehacker.com/5773000/how-to-rip-dvds-with-handbrake). The 4th dvd took about 2 secs to rip and then stopped saying it was complete. It was not. Now with the 3 files I have I tried to open and play with VLC and Miro. Neither one would play the file. It says its open but there is no sound or video and it doesn't actually show the movie playing in the progress bar. I ran it from the terminal and this is the error message I get. [0xb04c2f38] mp4 demux error: MP4 plugin discarded (no moov,foov,moof box) [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 0xa032980] moov atom not found [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 0xb0efd500] moov atom not found [0xb04c2f38] avformat demux error: Could not open ????e/boris/Videos/Movies/Taras Bulba 1962.m4v: Unknown error 1094995529 I have also changed a file name to end .mp4 instead of .m4v which is how I originally ripped them.

• [MINI HOW-TO] Repair Missing External Hard Drive Database Error in WHS

  If you’re using external hard drives with your Windows Home Server, they might get unplugged and create an error. Here we look at running the Repair Wizard to quickly fix the issue. If an external drive that is included in your drive pool becomes unplugged or loses power, you might see the following error under Home Network Health when opening the WHS Console. To fix the issue verify the drive has power and is plugged in correctly and click Repair. The wizard launches and you’ll need to agree that you may lose data during the repair of the backup database. In this example it was a simple problem where an external drive became unplugged from the server…so you can close out of the wizard. If you look under Server Storage you can see the drive is missing…To fix the issue verify the drive has power and is plugged in correctly. WHS will add the drive back into the pool and when finished you’ll see it listed as healthy and good to go. Using external drives that are part of your storage pool may not be the best way to have your home built WHS setup, but if you do, expect occasional errors such as this.
