    A few simple marks for those who know the answer. I'm doing revision for exams at the moment and one of the past questions is: What is meant by the order of a perceptron? I can't find any information about this in my lecture notes, and even google seems at a loss. My guess is that the order is the number of layers in a neural network, but this doesn't seem quite right.

  • Map the 'Domain Admins' group into the local Ubuntu 'admin' group

    I have configured an Ubuntu 10.04 box to connect to our domain (Windows 2003 R2) using Likewise-Open. All the users can authenticate as expected. However, the domain administrators do not have administrative privileges to the machine. After working at this for a few hours, I've determined what I think may be a solution: if I map the 'Domain Admins' group from the Active Directory into the local 'admin' group, the users should get the appropriate permissions. But I have no idea how to do that. Does this even sound like the correct approach? A similar question was asked on StackOverflow and then migrated here. But it was never answered as it was recommended to be asked here instead. Thanks in advance!

But could not fix it: suddenly (after a year of service, no changes on my winscp settings) it gives me "network error connection timed out" (im using ec2-user) (also from the amazon console). Log FILE: http://pastebin.com/vNq6YQvN All Sites that run on it run fine port 22 is allowed (never changed it) (security group) using the correct ec2-user and domain via my winscp / putty i can connect to other hosting (via ssh) update: SOLVED. I spend 2 days without looking at my own IP address .... (since it did not change the past 3 years....). Your comments made the spark in my brain. thank you so much.     Hi all, I am working on windows vista. I have got two internet connections, one is wifi connection with high speed. And other is mobile network connection. There is a very strange problem I am getting. When I connect to wi-fi connection I an not able to serf internet(actually not all the sites). I am able to search on Google but when i click on any link in the search list it does not open. But I am able to serf all the pages in google.com domain and also all the pages in stackoverflow domain. But i am not able to go to page http://repo1.maven.org/maven2 But When I am connected by my mobile network. I am able to serf any site. Can you please tell me what might me the problem with my settings.

  • View Public Key in Domain Key for a Domain

    Using Jeff's blog post I'm creating domain keys for my account. I wanted to verify the setup using Get or Host command with Bind for Windows but I'm lost one of the commands. I can see view the _domainkey. txt file with this command: host -t txt _domainkey.stackoverflow.com but I'm at a loss at how I'd find the selector record. Jeff points out it can be anything before the before the period in "._domainkey.domain.com" but how would I list all records if I didn't know the exact query name? Is there a wildcard I could use to view all TXT or all records under this section?

  • How do I display many images (by imagefield) in all my nodes of a type?

    The thing is that I have hundreds of nodes each with 4 to 12 images all of them around the same size in an imagefield but I want to order that so it looks at the end in a grid or something like that. I know that panels and views are the answer but I think I've seen all of the tutorials available but nothing. If anyone know where can I find something like I need, I'll be very gratefull.

    Hello, I am getting a compile error, saying that the copy constructor of the scoped_ptr is private with the following code snippet: class a {}; struct s { boost::scoped_ptr<a> p; }; BOOST_PYTHON_MODULE( module ) { class_<s>( "s" ); } This example works with a shared_ptr though.     Hi, Loose coupling is wonderful of course, but I have often wondered what overhead wiring up dynamically using an IoC container (for example Castle Windsor) has over a tightly coupled system? I know that a detailed answer would depend on what the IoC was being used for, but I'm really just trying to get a feel for the magnitude of effort involved in the IoC work.
