    Hi .. I'm trying to create datasource for connection pooling mysql database in Websphere Application Server. I've set the JDBC Provider, I set the Implementation class name : com.mysql.jdbc.jdbc2.optional.MysqlConnectionPoolDataSource my mysql driver 5.1.6. but I got this error while I try to connect the datasource: The test connection operation failed for data source btn_itb_ds on server server1 at node qnode with the following exception: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.MySQLNonTransientConnectionException: Unknown command. View JVM logs for further details. I have read this http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=38388 trouble shooting. But they just suggest to upgrade mysql driver version 5.1.X and I have do that. but I've got the same error.

  • OSGI & Apache Commons-DBCP Classloading Issue

    I inherited some code that is using the Apache commons-dbcp Connection pools in an OSGi bundle. This code works fine with Eclipse/Equinox OSGi version 3.4.3 (R34x_v20081215), commons-dbcp 1.2.2 and the postgres jdbc3 8.3.603 bundles from springsource.org. I wanted to modernize, maybe this was my first mistake! When I use the new version of Felix or Equinox OSGI Cores with the new postgresql JDBC3 or JDBC4 bundles along with the latest version of commons-dbcp (1.4.1), I am getting a classloading issue. I have done numerous searches and found that the commons-dbcp code should have a fix DBCP-214, but it still seems to fail. I have tried to put the org.postgresql on the commons-dbcp MANIFEST.MF import-package line, but that did not work either. I wrote a simple test in an activator that first does a basic class.forName() and DriverManager.getConnection(), this works fine, but when I add in BasicDataSource() and setup the connection with BasicDataSource.getConnection(), I get the ClassNotFoundException.   • Accessing one process's memory contents from another module

    I am developing a virtual device driver such that the user can write to the driver a process' pid and a virtual address, and the module will use these two values to get the memory contents of the target process. I am wondering if there is any easy functions that can fetch user page's data at this virtual address. I have tried get_user but this is not possible because the modules executing get_user at another process's context. I also tried to use ptrace_readdata, however, it seems that the file at /kernel/ptrace.c leaves a function access_process_vm undefined and also I don't know how to compile the source code of my module with this file (the linker seaches file in /linux/include by default). I am wondering if there are any other solutions...

  • Best Practise for Writing a POS System

    Hi, I'm putting together a basic POS system in C# that needs to print to a receipt printer and open a cash drawer. Do I have to use the Microsoft Point of Service SDK? I've been playing around with printing to my Samsung printer using the Windows driver that came with it, and it seems to work great. I assume though that other printers may not come with Windows drivers and then I would be stuck? Or would I be able to simply use the Generic/Text Driver to print to any printer that supports it? For the cash drawer I would need to send codes directly to the COM port which is fine with me, if it saves me the hassle of helping clients setup OPOS drivers on there systems. Am I going down the wrong path here? Thanks, Gary

  • Update to php5.3 breaks connecting to mysql db

    I just updated php to 5.3 and can no longer connect to my remote mysql server. I get the following errors: mysqli_connect(): OK packet 6 bytes shorter than expected mysqli_connect(): (HY000/2000): mysqlnd cannot connect to MySQL 4.1+ using old authentication It seems this has to do with the new mysqlnd driver. Is there a way to force it to use the old libmysql driver. Also, reverting to php5.2.11 doesn't seem to fix the issue which seems to work for most people. Anyone have any suggestions? thanks!

    hi, my host system is gentoo amd64, guest system is win 7 amd64. the guest system can work, except it does not have sound. i start kvm with -soundhw ac97, QEMU_AUDIO_DRV='alsa', and after i get into the guest system, i can see a 'Multimedia Audio Controller' in the device manager. but win7 cannot find the driver for it. i searched the network for a long time, and i cannot find a driver for intel ac97 for win7 amd64. i also tried -soundhw sb16, es1370, none of them work. please help me fix this.

    I am trying to create a record containing the path to a file. The insertion is done into a Postgres database where UTF8 is enabled, using the NpqSQL driver. My table definition: CREATE TABLE images ( id serial, file_location character varying NOT NULL ) My SQL statement (boiled down to a minimum): INSERT INTO images (file_location) VALUES (E'\\2010') When using pgAdmin to insert the above statement, it works fine. Using the NpgSQL driver through Visual Studio C#, it fails with this exception: "ERROR: 22021: invalid byte sequence for encoding \"UTF8\": 0x81" Replacing my SQL statement with the following: INSERT INTO images (file_location) VALUES (E'\\a2010') ^ The E is encouraged by pgAdmin when using double backslashes. So a quick recap: Why is NpqSQL stopping my insertion of the \\2010?

    Hello all, I am having problems with the PHP function unlink. I keep getting this error: Warning: unlink(C:\wamp\www\webs\db\db_1276259188.mdb) [function.unlink]: Permission denied in C:\wamp\www\webs\pure-php-export.php on line 242 I am on a windows machine where Apache runs as the user SYSTEM. I have set the permissions of the db folder as "Full Control" for Apache's user.     I'm connecting to Informix 6.5 using the IBM OLE DB Driver. Some clarification: Informix Dynamic Server Workgroup Edition. Please note that there are many versions of IDS/WE - it helps to be precise about which version you have. It might be something like 10.00.TC1; the version number could be as old as 7.xx.TCx, or as new as 11.50.TCx. If your server is not on Windows but on Unix - or is on 64-bit Windows - the letter 'T' would change to 'U' (32-bit Unix) or 'F' (64-bit - Unix or Windows), or even 'H' (a particular HP-UX configuration). When I try to create a dataset using the VS DataSet wizard, after clicking on test connection it tells me 'Base Table not found'? The OLEDB driver is the official one provided by IBM. The problem with the 'Table not found' dialog is that Visual Studio doesn't tell me the table name but only the error! Has anyone else had this problem?

    I realize that I am attempting to go beyond the "supported" behavior of the manf's released drivers for perl, after all they have only released it in package with x86 .so's. However, since I cannot use their package with x64 Perl on a RHEL 5.4 x86_64 box, and maintaining a seperate install of x86 perl just for this one package, I have made an attempt to get this puppy working thanks to released 64-bit .so's that accompany other driver packages for Advantage. What I have done to this point: download beta 10 DBI drivers, in 32 download beta 10 PHP extension (it contains 32 and x86_64) copy the required DLLs into the ads-lib location (eg /usr/local/ads/lib64) compile the Perl DBI driver with the path to the lib64's .so's Good compilation, good install, good use. The problem is that I always get : failed: [iAnywhere Solutions][Advantage SQL][ASA] Error 6060: Advantage Database Server not available on specified server. axServerConnect (SQL-HY000)(DBD: db_login/SQLConnect err=-1) Does anyone have any ideas?     Hi guys. I (sadly) have to deploy a rails application on Windows XP which has to connect to Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Surfing in the web there are a lot of hits for connect from Linux to MsSQL, but cannot find out how to do it from Windows. Basically I followed these steps: Install dbi gem Install activerecord-sql-server-adapter gem My database.yml now looks like this: development: adapter: sqlserver mode: odbc dsn: test_dj host: HOSTNAME\SQLEXPRESS database: test_dj username: guest password: guest But I'm unable to connect it. When I run rake db:migrate I get IM002 (0) [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified I'm not a Windows user, so cannot understand really well the meaning of dsn element or so.     My instance was running fine and this morning I was able to access a Ruby on Rails app hosted on it. An hour later I suddenly wasn't able to access my site, my SSH connection attempts were refused and the server wasn't even responding to ping.     I have followed the zend instructions for implement my web Authentication using a database table. It's exactly the same code, but when render the page, the following exceptions appears: Zend\Authentication\Adapter\Exception\RuntimeException File: C:\xampp\htdocs\pfc\vendor\ZF2\library\Zend\Authentication\Adapter\DbTable.php Mensaje: The supplied parameters to DbTable failed to produce a valid sql statement, please check table and column names for validity. produced by this other: Zend\Db\Adapter\Exception\InvalidQueryException File: C:\xampp\htdocs\pfc\vendor\ZF2\library\Zend\Db\Adapter\Driver\Mysqli\Statement.php Mensaje: Statement couldn't be produced with sql: SELECT `users`.*, (CASE WHEN `password` = ? THEN 1 ELSE 0 END) AS `zend_auth_credential_match` FROM `users` WHERE `mail` = ? Seems to be that Statement.php can not execute the sql of above, but I send the sql by phpmyadmin replacing the ? for strings and work ok. I am sure that $dbAdapter works ok also because I have tested it and the columns name are "mail" and "password".   • jQuery preventDefault stops rest of code working

    I have this code where I am using jQuery to navigate to the next page, because I want some effects to take place before that happens. The problem is, that everything after the prevent.Default(); doesn't seem to work! $("a").click(function(event){ event.preventDefault(); $(".content-center").animate({height: "0px"}, 500); navigate($(this).attr('href')); }); I need things to happen in that order, so that the animation happens and once it's complete - load the next page... Does anyone have any ideas? Many thanks in advance?   • NFOP performance problem

    We're using NFOP in a project (C#, ASP.NET 2.0) to ultimately return PDF files to the user. The process currently goes like this: Stored Procedure - XML XML - XSLT - XSL-FO XSL-FO - NFOP - PDF This works fine, the PDF is generated BEAUTIFULLY. The problem is that it takes 300+ seconds to do it. The ANTS profiler indicates that the problem is sitting in the driver.run() method inside of NFOP. It's not like this is a gargantuan amount of data, the size of the xsl-fo source going into the nfop driver object is ~980k. What's the most likely source and resolution of this problem? ANY hints or tips or answers are most appreciated, we were supposed to head to VA scan at 11 am. :|
