• Looking for a workaround for IE 6/7 "Unspecified Error" bug when accessing offsetParent; using ASP.N

  I'm using jQuery UI's draggable and droppable libraries in a simple ASP.NET proof of concept application. This page uses the ASP.NET AJAX UpdatePanel to do partial page updates. The page allows a user to drop an item into a trashcan div, which will invoke a postback that deletes a record from the database, then rebinds the list (and other controls) that the item was drug from. All of these elements (the draggable items and the trashcan div) are inside an ASP.NET UpdatePanel. If not, what's the best way to manage keeping my changes in sync when I update the jQuery libraries in the future? For, example can I extend the library somewhere other than just inline in the files that I download from the jQuery website. • Asp.net PopupControlExtender inside UpdatePabel

  Hi, So i use PopupControlExtender (to edit some of the fields) inside ListViewControl which itself is embeded inside an UpdatePanel. The problem is as follows whenever you cause partail postback the popup panels are created client side outside the updatepanel. And you get more clientside controls with the same clientside ID. When you postback with popup panel the server side control eg. • Installed SQL Server 2008 and now TFS is broken.

  Hi, My W2K3 server was running TFS 2008 SP1, SQL Server 2005 Development edition. I installed SQL Server 2008 Standard. I installed it while leaving SQL Server 2005 alone. Upgrading was not possible due to the differences in editions of the SQL Servers. Now TFS is broken. • ELMAH - Filtering 404 Errors

  I am attempting to configure ELMAH to filter 404 errors and I am running into difficulties with the XML-provided filter rules in my Web.config file. I followed the tutorial here and here and added an <is-type binding="BaseException" type="System.IO.FileNotFoundException" /> declaration under my <test><or>... declaration, but that completely failed. When I tested it locally I stuck a breakpoint in protected void ErrorLog_Filtering() {} of the Global.asax found that the System.Web.HttpException that gets fired by ASP.NET for a 404 doesn't have a base type of System.IO.FileNotFound, but rather it is simply a System.Web.HttpException. Next I decided to try a <regex binding="BaseException.Message" pattern="The file '/[^']+' does not exist" /> in the hopes that any exception matching the pattern "The file '/foo.ext' does not exist" would get filtered, but that too having no effect. As a last resort I tried <is-type binding="BaseException" type="System.Exception" />, and even that is entirely disregarded. I'm inclined to think there's a configuration error with ELMAH, but I fail to see any. Am I missing something blatantly obvious?   I am trying to expose a WCT REST service and only users with valid username and password would be able to access it. The username and password are stored in a SQL database.   Hi, I'm trying to do something which really ought to be quite easy, but it's driving me crazy. I'm trying to launch an activity when a home screen widget is pressed, such as a configuration activity for the widget. I think I've followed word for word the tutorial on the Android Developers website, and even a few unofficial tutorials as well, but I must be missing something important as it doesn't work.   Hello All, I'm probably overlooking something that will be obvious when I see the solution, but for now... I am attempting to use a custom cursor inside the chart area of a Toolkit chart. I have created a ControlTemplate for the chart, and a grid to contain the cursors. I show/hide the cursors, and attempt to move the containing Grid, using various Mouse events. The cursor is being displayed at the correct times, but I cannot get it to move to the correct position. • Filtered ListView not updated

  Hi! I have a ListView with a custom Adapter that extends ArrayAdapter. It's a ArrayAdapter of Type Artist. Artist is a very small class that has a name and an id. The Artist Class has toString() overridden to return just the name. I have an EditText. The EditText has an TextChangeListener where i call .getFilter().filter(chars, callback) on my adapter. In the Filter.Filterlistener().onComplete() callback i print the count and it looks really good. As i type the count decreases. So it seams everything works as advertised, but the List stays the same. I tried to call artistAdapter.notifyDataSetChanged() to force the list to redraw, but nothing happens. [see 2.)] I am tinkering around for days now! I am desperate.. Hopefully someone can have a look on my code and tell me what i am doing wrong! Thanks! Here is what i have done: 1.) • Unresolved compilation problems -- can't use .jar files that I have created

  I created a few .jar files and am trying to access them in another application - I have tried to use both Eclipse and IntelliJ and experience the same issue: java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problems: The import com.XXXX.XXXXXXXXX.project2 cannot be resolved The import com.XXXX.XXXXXXXXX.project2 cannot be resolved BeanFactory cannot be resolved to a type Author cannot be resolved to a type AuthorFactoryImpl cannot be resolved to a type Author cannot be resolved to a type Author cannot be resolved to a type I have been using Maven during this process and the jars compile fine. I have included them on the file path using both the Maven .pom file and directly assigning them. I also have unassigned the direct file path and left the reference in Maven and vise versa -- no difference. • XSL-FO: Force Wrap on Table Entries

  I'm having an issue where when I publish my modspecs to pdf (XSL-FO). My tables are having issues, where the content of a cell will overflow its column into the next one. How do I force a break on the text so that a new line is created instead? I can't manually insert zero-space characters since the table entries are programmatically entered.
