i have a hashmap where every key has many values(stored in a arraylist). How to display the arraylist i.e the values for a particular key in a hashmap in java??
I couldn't find a more descriptive title, but here there is an example:
import re
m = re.search(r"\((?P<remixer>.+) (Remix)\)", "Title (Menda Remix)")
m.group("remixer") # returns 'Menda' OK
m = re.search(r"\((?P<remixer>.+) (Remix)\)", "Title (Blabla) (Menda Remix)")
m.group("remixer") # returns 'Blabla) (Menda' FAIL
This regex finds the first parenthesis, and I would like to match the last parenthesis for always getting 'Menda'. I've made a workaround to this using extra functions, but I would like a cleaner and a more consistent way using the same regex.
Thanks a lot guys.
I have looked into Geopy and googlemaps (http://py-googlemaps.sourceforge.net/) and they both do not work for Chinese addresses. My app is stored on the Google App Engine. What I want to do is to parse a file containing addresses of restaurants in Hong Kong, and then Geocode the addresses and store the Lat and Lng in the datastore. How do I do this?
While testing some functions to convert strings between wchar_t and utf8 I met the following weird result with Visual C++ express 2008
std::wcout << L"élève" << std::endl;
prints out "ÚlÞve:" which is obviously not what is expected.
This is obviously a bug. How can that be ? How am I suppose to deal with such "feature" ?
I'm trying to create a set of tables where we don't actually delete them, but rather we set the archive flags instead. When we delete an entity, it shouldn't be deleted, it should be marked as archived instead.
What are the programming patterns to support this?
I would also prefer not to have to roll out my own stored procs for every table that have these archive flags if there is another solution.
i have the following code snapshot:
public void getResults( String expression, String collection ){
ReferenceList list;
Vector lists = new Vector();
list = invertedIndex.get( 1 )//invertedIndex is class member
lists.add(list);
}
when the method is finished, i supose that the local objects ( list, lists) are "destroyed". Can you tell if the memory occupied by list stored in invertedIndex is released as well? Or does java allocate new memory for list when assigning list = invertedIndex.get( 1 );
gdb a.exe
(gdb) disassemble main
Dump of assembler code for function main:
0x004012d0 <main+0>: push %ebp
0x004012d1 <main+1>: mov %esp,%ebp
...
The above can only be used to show a specific part inside the executable,how to dump all functions?
Hi all,
i am developing a mobile client to sync images from iphone photo gallery to amazon s3,so is there any sync services libraries that can help me in this regard..
Also is there any library to access the iphone photo gallery,I just wanted to pick all photos, randomly, from the images stored on the device with no user interaction?
Thanks in advance.......
Hello, i'm developing a quite big C++ software and now (better late than neve :)) i've decided to document it in the doxy standards.
There are plenty of classes, methods, functions, macros and so on therefore i'm searching for a software that would scan my source tree and insert doxy comment blocks on top of every "documentable item" to let me edit them later and add details such as methods description and so on.
Some hint?
As a follow-up of this question: sqlite-over-a-network-share
If I put the SQlite DB on a network share, but will not access it concurrently from different machines. I only have the SQLite db stored on a share so a cluster of failover computers can take over where one machine left off.
Are there any inherent problems with that approach?
If I use many CLOB variables in the PL/SQL stored procedure to store many long length string , are there any performance issues? Is the length of the CLOB is also variable? Are there any known limitations/disadvantages for CLOB instead using varchar2 and long?
I'm currently working on sprite sheet tool in python that exports the organization into an xml document but I've run into some problems trying to animate a preview. I'm not quite sure how to time the frame rate with python. For example, assuming I have all of my appropriate frame data and drawing functions, how would I go about coding the timing to display it at 30 frames per second (or any other arbitrary rate).
Hi All,
I need to read a PNG file and interpret all the information stored in it and print it in human readable format. While working on PNG, i understood that it uses CRC-32 for generating checksum for each chunk. But I could not understand the following information mentioned on the PNG file specification site:
The polynomial used by PNG is:
x32 + x26 + x23 + x22 + x16 + x12 + x11 + x10 + x8 + x7 + x5 + x4 + x2 + x + 1
Here is the link for reference:
http://www.w3.org/TR/PNG/
Can anyone please help me in understanding this?
Regards,
darkie
There is a table A containing common unversioned data for entities. There are also tables B,C,D with versioned data of particular entity type. All of these tables are referencing table A.
The task is to add a mapping of a property of entity's type, for example, stored in table B, which would reference table A, and specify a rule how entity should be fetch from table B based on identifier from table A. (For example, to fetch latest version of an entity).
It it possible with NHibernate?
I wondered if there is a programming language which compiles to machine code/binary (not bytecode then executed by a VM, that's something completely different when considering typing) that features dynamic and/or weak typing, e.g:
Think of a compiled language where:
Variables don't need to be declared
Variables can be created doing runtime
Functions can return values of different types
Questions:
Is there such a programming language?
(Why) not?
I think that a dynamically yet strong typed, compiled language would really sense, but is it possible?
Is there an easy and straight-forward method to select elements based on their data attribute? For example, select all anchors that has data attribute named customerID which has value of 22. I am kind of hesitant to use rel or other attributes to store such information, but I find it much harder to select an element based on what data is stored in it.
Thanks!
I would like to konw what is considered the most elegant C# .NET method to produce a Data Access Layer?
I am using MyGeneration DooDads. Is this an elegant solution?
Is it still acceptable to use the CRUD Stored Procedures + DAL Library for data access with .NET Entity Framework and NHibernate ORM tools?
I need to use VBA to determine the number of arguments passed to an Excel formula. For instance, suppose a cell contains the formula =MyFunc($A$1, "xyz", SUM(1,2,COUNT(C1:C12)), IF(B12,1,0)). Then the counter function should return 4. Does VBA contain any built-in functions for this, or does someone have an example of a regular expression that could calculate this?
I've got a RelativeLayout that contains these items:
LinearLayout
ImageView (weight = 1)
LinearLayout
So, the ImageView should expand and pin the other layouts on the top/bottom of the screen.
I'm loading the ImageView using an image stored on a web server. However, I can fetch images of any size from the server, so I'd rather just fetch the exact image size I need. Thus, I need to get the size of the ImageView before I actually fill it in. How can I do this?
Is there any way to achieve function overloading in C? I am looking at simple functions to be overloaded like
foo (int a)
foo (char b)
foo (float c , int d)
I think there is no straight forward way, looking for workarounds if any?
The company I work for currently uses some basic functions to abstract the OCI libraries as a means for DB connectivity. We're considering switching to PHP's PDO object, but from some quick searches, it looks like the Oracle driver is a bit less mature than the other PDO drivers. I would appreciate some pro/cons for PDO/Oracle from anyone who has used it in a production environment.
Thanks!
Should libraries that the application relies on be stored in source control? One part of me says it should and another part say's no. It feels wrong to add a 20mb library that dwarfs the entire app just because you rely on a couple of functions from it (albeit rather heavily). Should you just store the jar/dll or maybe even the distributed zip/tar of the project?
What do other people do?
I have some viewdata that is generated by going through my repository to the database to grab some scheduling info. When the information is stored in the Viewdata, I noticed that the viewdata is enumerated. How could I access the enumerated items and generate a table/list based on the viewdata? Most of the information just needs to be spit out into a table, but one item will have a link generated for it.
Thanks!
I keep stumbling on the format specifiers for the printf() family of functions. What I want is to be able to print a double (or float) with a maximum given number of digits after the decimal point. If I use:
printf("%1.3f", 359.01335);
printf("%1.3f", 359.00999);
I get
359.013
359.010
Instead of the desired
359.013
359.01
Can anybody help me?
