  • Google maps event problem with flex actionscript

    I am able to render a google map on a flex canvas. I create the map using the code below and then place markers on it in the onMapReady method (not shown) var map:com.google.maps.Map=new com.google.maps.Map(); map.id="map"; map.key="bla bla"; _mapCanvas.addChild(map); map.addEventListener(MapEvent.MAP_READY,onMapReady); It all works fine. However, if I remove the map and then set _mapCanvas to null, then run exactly the same code again, the onMapReady event does not fire. It is weird, but once a map has been created and deleted, the onMapReady event never seems to fire again. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

When the user enters the site the divs should hide, when everything is loaded the divs should show up. (onload) Strangely enough, the funtion in the body (not in the body tag) only work half, i get and alert 'test_pre_function' and i get an alert 'call' (out of the function), but that's it. The code in the body tag runs just fine. I find this weird because it's supposed to do exactly the same twice and one time it runs, another time not, so i guess i must have made some stupid mistake. Thanks for any help!

  • Passenger problem: "no such file to load" -- /config/environment

    I've been researching this one and found references to similar problems here and there, but none of them has led to a solution yet. I've installed passenger (2.2.11) and nginx (0.7.64) and when I start things up and hit a Rails URL, I get an error page informing me of a load error: no such file to load -- /path/to/app/config/environment From what I've found online this appears to be some sort of a user/permissions error, but I've tried all the logical fixes: I've made sure that /config/environment.rb is not owned by root, but by a webapp user. I've tried setting passenger_default_user, I've tried setting passenger_user_switching off. I've even tried setting the nginx user, though that shouldn't matter much. I've gotten some differing results, but nothing's actually worked. I'm hoping someone may have the magical combination of settings and permissions for this. I may try backing down to an earlier version of Passenger, because I've never had this issue before; it's been a little while since I set up Passenger though. Thanks for any suggestions.

  • Inversion of control domain objects construction problem

    Hello! As I understand IoC-container is helpful in creation of application-level objects like services and factories. But domain-level objects should be created manually. Spring's manual tells us: "Typically one does not configure fine-grained domain objects in the container, because it is usually the responsibility of DAOs and business logic to create/load domain objects." Well. But what if my domain "fine-grained" object depends on some application-level object. For example I have an UserViewer(User user, UserConstants constants) class. There user is domain object which cannot be injected, but UserViewer also needs UserConstants which is high-level object injected by IoC-container. I want to inject UserConstants from the IoC-container, but I also need a transient runtime parameter User here. What is wrong with the design? Thanks in advance! UPDATE It seems I was not precise enough with my question. What I really need is an example how to do this: create instance of class UserViewer(User user, UserService service), where user is passed as the parameter and service is injected from IoC. If I inject UserViewer viewer then how do I pass user to it? If I create UserViewer viewer manually then how do I pass service to it?

    I have this class that contains vars for db connection; Public Shared s As String Public Shared con As String = WebConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings("foo").ToString() Public Shared c As New SqlConnection(con) Public Shared x As New SqlCommand(s, c) I import this to my page like this; Imports DBVars I'm then able to access these vars from my page.     I want to do the validation on my PHP side and then have my JQuery code display your changes have been saved when the submit button is clicked but the JQuery code states that the changes have been saved even when the validation fails. How can i fix this so that PHP can do the validation and then JQuery can do its thing when PHP has finished its validation?   • Nested functions not allowed in drawrect problem

    I have a custom view onto which I draw some graphics from the drawrect function, which works fine. However I like to draw based on the contens of an array I pass on the the view just before I do a setNeedsDisplay. In the drawRect function I try to access the array but then I get a nested functions error which I do not understand.     Say I have an unordered list like so: <ul> <li>Some Text</li> <li>Some Text</li> <li>Some Text</li> <li>Some Text</li> </ul> I want to use jquery so that when I click a "li", the background changes to blue. So I do this: $('li').click(function() { $(this).addClass('active'); }); And the "active" class has as background of blue. However, I can't figure out how to make it so that when I click another "li", the other "li" that has a background of blue stops having a background of blue. I guess what I'm trying to say is how to make only one "li" have a background of blue at a time--using jquery.

    In my Cocoa application, in the header file, I declare a NSString ivar: NSString *gSdkPath; Then, in awakeFromNib, I assign it to a value: gSdkPath = @"hello"; Later, it's value is changed in the code: gSdkPath = [NSString stringWithString:[folderNames objectAtIndex:0]]; (the object returned from objectAtIndex is an NSString) However, after this point, in another method when I try to NSLog() (or do anything with) the gSdkPath variable, the app crashes. I'm sure this has something to do with memory management, but I'm beginning with Cocoa and not sure exactly how this all works. Thanks for any help in advance.

    I am trying to write a function to get a string from the uart1. Its for an embedded system so I don't want to use malloc. The pointer that is passed to the getstring function seems to point to garbage after the gets_e_uart1() is called. As things stand, i get both whats in the designer and in formload in the comboboxes. How can i stop this? I also have an edit function, so when i edit a record, i want the combo box to be populated by what is already saved. Just a random question, can you stop the user entering a value that isn't in the combo box? Thankyou
