  • Ideal Folder Structure of MVC framework

    - by Sarfraz
    Hello guys, I would like to ask what is the ideal folder structure for a MVC framework that should be able to support multiple installations. For example, I install xyz framework and i run two or more sites based on this single installation of xyz framework rather than installing the framework for each site. This is probably done in Codeigniter too but i don't know much about CodeIgniter, so i need your suggestions. I know some of you might even have better idea than what is done by CodeIgniter, so please share.

  • netServiceBrowserDidStopSearch not called

    - by user263569
    I'm now writing a Bonjour service listener class, according to the document here: Currently, it seems working, I can receive "netServiceBrowserWillSearch:" and "didFindService:moreComing:" correctly. However, after a long wait, I cannot receive " netServiceBrowserDidStopSearch:" or "netServiceBrowser:didNotSearch:". Therefore I don't know that is the proper time for my delegate class to stop showing some UI. Could anyone have an idea for this? Thanks.

  • gluNewQuadric() before opengl's initialization

    - by Schrödinger's cat
    Hello, I'm working on a c++ code that uses SDL/opengl. Is this possible to create a pointer to a quadric with 'gluNewQuadric()' before having initialized opengl with 'SDL_SetVideoMode'? The idea is to create a class with a (pointer to a) quadric class member that has to be instantiate before the 'SDL_SetVideoMode' call. This pointer is initialized in the class' constructor with a 'gluNewQuadric()' call.

  • Incorrect rotation of a view controller in iOS 6

    - by XenElement
    In my app I've been using the now deprecated shouldAutoRotateToFace method. Now when using the iOS 6 simulator, all of my subviews are rotated to portrait orientation while the device is in landscape. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? I've already tried replacing should autorotate in my main view controller with the supportedOrientations method (or whatever it is that you're now supposed to use instead).

  • UIView animation cancels previous animation?

    - by user281300
    Hi I have an NSTIMER that counts the time, and on t = 10, it fires an animation but during that time it might happen that another animation is running. This causes the previously running animation to cut off. Any idea? i thought UIVIEW animations were ran in diff threads. I cannot use a willstop selector here since t = 10 might happen while another animation is running and might not have ended yet.

  • CUDA threads for inner loop

    - by Manolete
    I've got this kernel __global__ void kernel1(int keep, int include, int width, int* d_Xco, int* d_Xnum, bool* d_Xvalid, float* d_Xblas) { int i, k; i = threadIdx.x + blockIdx.x * blockDim.x; if(i < keep){ for(k = 0; k < include ; k++){ int val = (d_Xblas[i*include + k] >= 1e5); int aux = d_Xnum[i]; d_Xblas[i*include + k] *= (!val); d_Xco[i*width + aux] = k; d_Xnum[i] +=val; d_Xvalid[i*include + k] = (!val); } } } launched with int keep = 9000; int include = 23000; int width = 0.2*include; int threads = 192; int blocks = keep+threads-1/threads; kernel1 <<< blocks,threads >>>( keep, include, width, d_Xco, d_Xnum, d_Xvalid, d_Xblas ); This kernel1 works fine but it is obviously not totally optimized. I thought it would be straight forward to eliminate the inner loop k but for some reason it doesn't work fine. My first idea was: __global__ void kernel2(int keep, int include, int width, int* d_Xco, int* d_Xnum, bool* d_Xvalid, float* d_Xblas) { int i, k; i = threadIdx.x + blockIdx.x * blockDim.x; k = threadIdx.y + blockIdx.y * blockDim.y; if((i < keep) && (k < include) ) { int val = (d_Xblas[i*include + k] >= 1e5); int aux = d_Xnum[i]; d_Xblas[i*include + k] *= (float)(!val); d_Xco[i*width + aux] = k; atomicAdd(&d_Xnum[i], val); d_Xvalid[i*include + k] = (!val); } } launched with a 2D grid: int keep = 9000; int include = 23000; int width = 0.2*include; int th = 32; dim3 threads(th,th); dim3 blocks (keep+threads.x-1/threads.x, include+threads.y-1/threads.y); kernel2 <<< blocks,threads >>>( keep, include, width, d_Xco, d_Xnum, d_Xvalid, d_Xblas ); Although I believe the idea is fine, it does not work and I am running out of ideas here. Could you please help me out here? I also think the problem could be in d_Xco which stores the position k in a smaller array , so the order matters, but I can't think of any other way of doing it...
