  • Changing css-class-wrapper parameter of liferay portlet at runtime

    - by 2DH
As the title says - I need to change css-class-wrapper parameter at runtime, preferably in action class. I've found that Portlet interface has setCssClassWrapper method that could probably do what I want, but I can't seem to find any easy way to access current portlet object from my code. Could anyone please give me a hand with what I want to achieve. Thanks.

  • Cocoa XML reader app

    - by Miskia
Hello, I'm a newbie to Cocoa, just develop some little apps with C/C++ on Windows. I want to make a "simple" app on Cocoa. When the user specific XML file, the file nodes are represented "enduser viewable". I made an interface with some NSTextField. I made a subclass of NSDocument called "XMLFile" so i got "XMLFile.h" and "XMLFile.m" in my Xcode project. In the plist of my app i setup a new "Document Types": XML File - extensions: xml - role: view - class: XMLFile - store type: XML Here is my "XMLFile.h": #import <Cocoa/Cocoa.h> @interface FichierXML : NSDocument { } IBOutlet NSTextField *dateField; IBOutlet NSTextField *titleField; IBOutlet NSTextField *descField; IBOutlet NSTextField *vidfileField; IBOutlet NSTextField *imgfileField; IBOutlet NSObjectController *object; NSUInteger *mask; @end And here is my "XMLFile.m": #import "XMLFile.h" @implementation XMLFile - (BOOL)readFromData:(NSData *)datafile ofType:(NSString *)typeName error:(NSError **)outerror { NSMutableArray* ReportCreationDate = [[NSMutableArray alloc] initWithCapacity:10]; NSMutableArray* ReportTitle = [[NSMutableArray alloc] initWithCapacity:10]; NSMutableArray* ReportDescription = [[NSMutableArray alloc] initWithCapacity:10]; NSMutableArray* VideoPath = [[NSMutableArray alloc] initWithCapacity:10]; NSMutableArray* VideoThumbnailImageName = [[NSMutableArray alloc] initWithCapacity:10]; NSXMLDocument* doc = [[NSXMLDocument alloc] initWithData:datafile options:mask error:outerror]; NSXMLElement* root = [doc rootElement]; NSArray* dateElement = [root nodesForXPath:@"//Report/ReportCreationDate" error:nil]; for(NSXMLElement* xmlElement in dateElement) [dateElement setStringValue:[xmlElement stringValue]]; NSArray* titleElement = [root nodesForXPath:@"//Report/ReportTitle" error:nil]; for(NSXMLElement* xmlElement in titleElement) [titleField setStringValue:[xmlElement stringValue]]; NSArray* descElement = [root nodesForXPath:@"//Report/ReportDescription" error:nil]; for(NSXMLElement* xmlElement in descElement) [descField setStringValue:[xmlElement stringValue]]; NSArray* vidfileElement = [root nodesForXPath:@"//Report/Videos/Video/VideoPath" error:nil]; for(NSXMLElement* xmlElement in vidfileElement) [vidfileField setStringValue:[xmlElement stringValue]]; NSArray* imgfileElement = [root nodesForXPath:@"//Report/Videos/Video/VideoThumbnailImageName" error:nil]; for(NSXMLElement* xmlElement in imgfileElement) [imgfileField setStringValue:[xmlElement stringValue]]; [doc release]; [ReportCreationDate release]; [ReportTitle release]; [ReportDescription release]; [VideoPath release]; [VideoThumbnailImageName release]; return YES; } @end So. The user open the XMLFile, and XMLDocument analyse the file to extract nodes' data and send it to the differents NSTextField... But it doesn't work :( If someone can help me... I'm a newbie so don't be too rude if I made big mistakes :) Miskia.

  • Error while attempting to output data onto console in xcode

    - by Michael Amici
    I am trying to output general data (source code) from a website, but it just sits there. Can't figure out if its the interface or the code. Would someone double-check for me? #import "Lockerz_RedemptionViewController.h" @implementation Lockerz_RedemptionViewController -(IBAction)start: (id) sender { while (1) { NSMutableData *mydata = [[NSData alloc] initWithContentsOfURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"http://ptzplace.lockerz.com/"]]; NSString *output = [[NSString alloc] initWithData:mydata encoding:NSASCIIStringEncoding]; NSLog(output); } }

  • Reading all compile errors in Windows command-line?

    - by ArdillaRoja
Noob question, apologies. I'm compiling Java in Windows Vista's command-line and have so many syntax errors that some are being pushed off the top (a lot of 'class, interface or enum expected' errors which leads me to believe it's an obvious syntax mistake early on in the code that I can't spot). Does anyone know how I could get it to display those first errors? Thanks in advance for the help.

  • Enumerating and using wmp visualizers

    - by monoceres
Hi! I want to use the systems available windows media player visualizers in my app. Apperently visualizers expose an IWMPEffects interface to the world. My question is how do I enumerate and create instances to the available visualizers on my system? Probably it's just a process of getting the cslid of the visualizers and then create the instance with CoCreateInstance. However I have no idea how to get these clsid's! Thanks!

  • Does Scheme work with Microsoft COM?

    - by Martin
I'm new to Scheme -- the functional programming language and I like it a lot for its first-class/higher-order functions. However, my data comes from a COM source with an object-oriented API. I know Scheme and COM belong to different programming paradigms, but I'm wondering if there is any interface or a way for Scheme to connect to a COM source? Thanks.

  • UITableViewCell outlets not set during bundle load (possibly very elementary question)

    - by Jan Zich
What are the most common reasons for an outlet (a class property) not being set during a bundle load? I'm sorry; most likely I'm not using the correct terms. It's my first steps with iPhone OS development and Objective-C, so please bear with me. Here is more details. Basically, I'm trying to create a table view based form with a fixed number of static rows. I followed this example: http://developer.apple.com/iphone/library/documentation/userexperience/conceptual/TableView_iPhone/TableViewCells/TableViewCells.html Scroll down to The Technique for Static Row Content please. I have one nib file with one table view, three table cells and all connections set as in the example. The problem is that the corresponding cell properties in my controller are never initialised. I get an exception in cellForRowAtIndexPath complaining that the returned cell is nil: UITableView dataSource must return a cell from tableView:cellForRowAtIndexPath. Here are the relevant parts from the implementation of the controller: @synthesize cellA; @synthesize cellB; @synthesize cellC; - (NSInteger)numberOfSectionsInTableView:(UITableView *)tableView { return 1; } - (NSInteger)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView numberOfRowsInSection:(NSInteger)section { return 3; } - (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { switch (indexPath.row) { case 0: return cellA; break; case 1: return cellB; break; case 2: return cellC; break; default: return nil; } } And here is the interface part: @interface AssociatePhoneViewController : UITableViewController { UITableViewCell *cellA; UITableViewCell *cellB; UITableViewCell *cellB; } @property (nonatomic, retain) IBOutlet UITableViewCell *cellA; @property (nonatomic, retain) IBOutlet UITableViewCell *cellB; @property (nonatomic, retain) IBOutlet UITableViewCell *cellC; @end This must be possibly one of the the most embarrassing questions on StackOverflow. It looks like the most basic example code. Is is possible that the cells are not instantiated with the nib file? I have them on the same level before the tabula view in the nib file. I tried to move them after the table view, but it did not make any difference. Are table cells in some way special? Do I need to set some flag or some property on them in the nib file? I was under the impression that all classes (views, windows, controllers …) listed in a nib file are simply instantiated (and linked using the provided connections). Could it possibly be some memory issue? The cell properties in my controller are not defined in any special way.

  • Problem with building OpenCV for Python 2.6

    - by si14
I've just downloaded OpenCV's trunk and now I'm trying to build it with MinGW. I read the manual and get .dll's compiled, but that's all - "interfaces/python" contains only some .i and .cmake files. How can I really get new python interface? Where I can find new cv.pyd/libcv.dll.a (because a compiled version from official site crashes sometimes and I saw this bug as "fixed" in Trac)?

  • How do I allow users to dial numbers in my tableView cells?

    - by Griffo
Hi all, I have a table containing cells with phone numbers. How can I allow the user to dial these numbers by tapping the row? It's not working by default and there's no option in interface builder like there is for uiwebviews so I imagine I need to programmatically tell the app to dial the number when the cell is tapped.

  • resttemplate getForObject map responsetype

    - by Zack Macomber
I'm invoking a rest service that returns JSON like this: { "some.key" : "some value", "another.key" : "another value" } I would like to think that I can invoke this service with a java.util.Map as the response type but that's not working for me. I get this exception: org.springframework.web.client.RestClientException: Could not extract response: no suitable HttpMessageConverter found for response type [interface java.util.Map] Should I just specify String as the response type and convert the JSON to a Map?

  • Website in right-to-left languages (Arabic, Hebrew)

    - by jack
I currently developing a multi-language interface for a Django project. But when I started to work on Arabic and Hebrew languages, I noticed all pages messed up after dir="rtl" to html tag (according to instructions on http://www.w3.org/International/tutorials/bidi-xhtml/) Does that mean I need separate stylesheets for right-to-left languages?
