    I want to create a program which calculates how long it will take to repeat a process a certain number of times. I've scaled this down a lot for this example. So, I have some textboxes which are bound to properties in a class: Count: <TextBox x:Name="txtCount" Text="{Binding Count, Mode=TwoWay}" Width="50"/> Days: <TextBox x:Name="txtDays" Text="{Binding Days, Mode=TwoWay}" Width="50"/> and a textblock which is multibound like so: <TextBlock x:Name="tbkTotal"> <TextBlock.Text> <MultiBinding StringFormat="Days: {0}, Count: {1}"> <Binding Path="Days" /> /* This isn't updating */ <Binding Path="Count" /> </MultiBinding> </TextBlock.Text> </TextBlock> My DataContext is set in the Window1.xaml.cs file. public Window1() { InitializeComponent(); Sample sample = new Sample(); this.DataContext = sample; } I can update the multibound textblock with the Count property just fine, but the Days property always shows 0, even though the Days input accurately reflects changes.   • Why browser doesnt recognize jquery when <script src="...jquery.js> is on a html page served by Goo

    jquery.js source code is not being recognised by browser using my page.html served by Google App Engine as a http:some_request to the SDK, BUT when I load the exact same page.html into the browser directly from my local hard drive as jquery.js all works OK, it is recognized, so I know my path is OK.... I don't understand? In the header of my page.html I have the following: <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> I also tried without success in the header this: <script src="/static/jquery.js" type="text/javascript"></script> I am working along with the examples in the [Jquery tutorial][1]. I am sure there is something simple I dont understand about how .html pages served to the browser from app engine interact differently with the browser than what I normally would expect....but I frustratingly just cant get it.....everything else I have with my app engine app is working fine......would love some help so i can move forward....

  • Jquery: how to trigger td a when tr is clicked

    Hey, I have a table where the first td in the trs contains a link. I want this anchor to be triggered (clicked) no matter where i click in the containing tr. I have read and tried alot of recents post and suggentions on this topic but i can't get this to work. I tried the trigger() and triggerHandle() functions, but it does not trigger the anchor click that i want. There must be others who have had the need to trigger a anchor click when a tr is clicked, so that the user doesn't have to click the tds anchor link. It sure is a nice UI feature if its possible?   • How to Fix my jQuery code in IE?? Works in Firefox..

    I am using jQuery to show/hide a div container (#pluginOptionsContainer), and load a page (./plugin_options.php) inside it with the required POST vars sent. What POST data is sent is based on the value of a select list (#pluginDD) and the click of a button (#pluginOptionsBtn)... It works fine in Firefox, but doesn't work in IE.. The '$("#pluginOptionsContainer").load()' request never seems to finish in IE - I only see the loading message forever... bind(), empty() and append() all seem to work fine in IE.. But not load()..     I'm using timthumb to resize my images because it scales them nicely if I only enter one of the dimensions. However I want to know if it's possible to extract the new resized image's dimensions so that I can add that dynamically to the img tag attributes.     I want to use multiple aggregate functions in a query. All the examples i have seem on aggregate functions however, are trivial. Typically, they are of the form: SELECT field1,agg_func1, agg_func2 GROUP BY SOME_COLUMNS HAVING agg_func1 OP SOME_SCALAR Where: OP: is a boolean operator (e.g. <, = etc) SOME_SCALAR: is a scalar (i.e. a constant number) What I want to know is if it is possible to write (IN ANSI SQL) queries like: SELECT field1,agg_func1, agg_func2, agg_func3 GROUP BY SOME_COLUMNS HAVING (agg_func1 OP1 agg_func2) OP2 (agg_func2 OP3 agg_func3) Where: OP[N] are boolean operators or ANSI SQL clause operators like 'BETWEEN', 'LIKE', 'IN' etc. Also, assuming this is possible (I have not seen any documentation saying otherwise) are there any efficiency/performance considerations (i.e. penalties) when the HAVING clause consists of a boolean expression combining the output of the aggregate functions - instead of the normal comparison of the output of the aggregate with a constant number (e.g. min('salary') 100 ) - which is often used in the most banal examples involving aggregate functions?

    Hi there, I have restore a SQL Server 2000 database onto SQL Server 2005 and then run DBCC CHECKDB WITH DATA_PURITY and I get this error: Msg 2570, Level 16, State 3, Line 2 Page (1:19558), slot 13 in object ID 181575685, index ID 1, partition ID 293374720802816, alloc unit ID 11899744092160 (type "In-row data"). Column "NumberOfShares" value is out of range for data type "numeric". Update column to a legal value. The column NumberOfShares is a numeric (19,6) data type. If I run the following select max (NumberOfShares) from AUDIT_Table select min (NumberOfShares) from AUDIT_Table I get: 22678647.839110 -1845953000.000000 These values are inside the bounds of a numeric (19,6) so I'm not sure why the DBCC check fails. Any ideas to find out why it fails? Do I need to use DBCC PAGE? How would you troubleshoot this? Thanks, Mark.

    Hi guys, I know that there has been much discussion here about this topic, but none of the threads I got across helped me solve this problem. I'm hoping that mine is somewhat unique, and may actually merit a different solution. I'm instantiating an asp:Button inside a data-bound asp:GridView through template fields. Some of the buttons are supposed to call a server-side function, but for some weird reason, it doesn't. All the buttons do when you click them is fire a postback to the current page, doing nothing, effectively just reloading the page.     Hi, Just wondering if it's possible to pass a global javascript array value into a html tag, specifically inside a img (title) tag? Basically want to know if I can do this: <img src="_info.gif" height="26" width="37" title=myArray[5]/> If so, how and if not, can people possibly provide other suggestions. Thanks
