  • SQL - suppressing duplicate *adjacent* records

    I need to run a Select statement (DB2 SQL) that does not pull adjacent row duplicates based on a certain field. In specific, I am trying to find out when data changes, which is made difficult because it might change back to its original value. That is to say, I have a table that vaguely resembles: A, 5, Jan A, 12, Feb A, 12, Mar A, 12, Apr A, 9, May A, 9, Jun A, 5, Jul And I want to get the results: A, 5, Jan A, 12, Feb A, 9, May A, 5, Jul discarding adjacent duplicates but keeping the last row. The obvious: Select Letter, Number, Min(Month) from Table group by Letter, Number does not work -- it doesn't include the last row.

    How would I go about converting the pixels in an image (.png file) to an integer array, where each pixel is converted to its ARGB integer equivalent? I would like to do this without using external libraries. Not a 2D integer array by the way, a 1D one (where access is through array[row*width+col]). Thanks.

  • Changing the title of jQuery-UI dialog-box with in another dialog-box's function...

    Why doesn't doesn't the second jQuery-UI dialog box title change when popped. The first dialog box I change the title of the box with using the following .attr("title", "Confirm") -- it change the title of the first box to 'Confirm', like it should have. Now when the second box pops up it should change the title to 'Message' since did the same thing for the second box -- .attr("title", "Message"). Right? But it doesnt. It keep the title from before.     Hi Folks ! So I am having an issue on my entrepreneur business opportunity rating matrix : I would like the radio buttons to stay on the same line. The problem is that I don't know how I should process because if I give a fixed minimum width for the cell, i'm not sure it will display properly on other browsers, and if the cell is to big I loose the alignment of the radio buttons. Do you guys have a CSS/Javascript (jQuery) trick that would fix this ? Thank you

    I have an image on my server which I know the dpi of and if it's too high I want to size it down to 72 I still want to keep the same height and width of the image. Any ideas? I've played around with -resample -units and -density but don't seem to be getting anywhere and can't find any answers. Anyone out there that can help

  • Line for signature in markdown

    I'm writing a document using markdown, which I'm exporting to a PDF using pandoc. At the end of the document I need to have space for signatures on a printed copy of the PDF. I've tried to find how to draw a line with a fixed width, but so far I only got to escaping the underscore character, which doesn't feel quite right.     Hi there, I have to use an external js file, in which I load the jquery. My js file look like this: document.write('<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.4.4.min.js"></script>'); (function($) { $(document).ready(function() { alert('it works!!'); }); })(jQuery); On the firefox console I get the "jQuery is not defined" and I think it is because the jQuery library is loaded after the $ function from my js file. Do you have any idea about how can I fix this? If I run the script from the FF console all works fine.
