    I'm writing an Qt application and I go through authorization process and everything. I'm even able to fetch the @self feed, but for some reason I get error 404 when trying to do the same thing with @consumption: "Download of https://www.googleapis.com/buzz/v1/activities/v.kiril/@consumption failed: Error downloading https://www.googleapis.com/buzz/v1/activities/v.kiril/@consumption - server replied: Not Found" I've got this url from the Google Buzz API. And I've tried to use my personal google profile ID and this @me namespace. Without success

  • How do I create lines while dragging a menu item on a WinForm? C#

    I want to mimic the functionality of Google Chrome/FireFox for example, when rearranging your bookmarks, when you are dragging the menu item, it creates a line at the proposed drop point. I've already implemented the Drag/Drop functionality to rearrange the menu, but I would like to add these separator lines as an additional feature. Is there a way to do this within the .NET Framework (3.5) or shall I have to resort to Win32 api calls? Just wanted to ask before I went down that path.

  • How do I change an existing XCode target from dynamic to static?

    I'm working with an existing project that produces a dynamic library (Cocoa API). I'd rather generate a static library, but if I change the [Linking|Mach-O Type] field from "Dynamic Library" to "Static Library", both the Clean Project and Build Project complain that the target has an invalid MACH_O_TYPE value of 'staticlib'. Is there a straightforward way to get the build to produce a static .a file? Thanks, Eric

    Since I have just started working with Facebook's api I had a few questions regarding Facebook sessions. In the index of my iFrame app I have the user establish a new sessions and set the $me and $uid variables as displayed in their example. However, when my app navigates to a new page should I create a new session and redeclare these variables or is there some way to grab those values from the already declared session? Thanks

    I am creating a twitter plugin for wordpress and I was told that when using oauth you can't really make the plugin act natively because each time the user installs the plugin they have to add their own twitter api credentials because of the callback url.     Hey guys. I am writing an App using JTwitter however I need to authenticate in order to not have the 150 requests per minute on the public api. Jtwitter seems to support OAuth however I have some questions. My app will be running behind a company firewall - so the URL wont be accessible outside of the company's network - will callback authorisation work, and does anybody have an example of using callback authorisation using OAuth in JTwitter - because I cannot work it out in order to try it.     The definitive reference for using Scala on android seems to be here: http://www.scala-lang.org/node/160 Unfortunately, all the references on using scala with android are based around Scala 2.7 and refer to a custom build android-library.jar, with a couple of cryptic references suggesting that this custom build isn't needed for later versions of android (I'm using 2.1 / API v7) So... What are the steps needed to use Scala 2.8 in an android project? Preferably using eclipse and the Android tools that Google supplies for that IDE.

  • Twisted: why is it that passing a deferred callback to a deferred thread makes the thread blocking a

    I unsuccessfully tried using txredis (the non blocking twisted api for redis) for a persisting message queue I'm trying to set up with a scrapy project I am working on. I found that although the client was not blocking, it became much slower than it could have been because what should have been one event in the reactor loop was split up into thousands of steps. So instead, I tried making use of redis-py (the regular blocking twisted api) and wrapping the call in a deferred thread. It works great, however I want to perform an inner deferred when I make a call to redis as I would like to set up connection pooling in attempts to speed things up further.     I'm looking for something like the following: previous_invoices = Invoice.objects.filter(is_open=False).order_by('-created').group_by('user') (group_by() doesn't exist) This would find the most recently closed invoice for each user. This aggregation API seems to let you do stuff like this for counts and sums, but I don't need a count or sum or anything, I actually want the invoice objects!
