After Repo sync, there are no files int he directory.

I've setup a new Repo for Android source code, and after executing the repo sync, there are no files in the repo directory. Did I miss something? I used: repo init -u git://android.git.kernel.org/platform/manifest.git repo initialized in /home/tarandeep/code/Android repo sync ... It downloaded GBs of data (I can confirm via network monitor) and then nothing appeared in the Android directory.

I am trying to make specific radiobutton checked on page load and tried a lot of ways, but no one worked for me. This is a part of orderform on my webstore. <input type="radio" name="sPaymentCarrier" id="pC_2-1" value="1;2;0.00" onclick="countCarrierPrice( this )" /> <label for="pC_2-1">0</label> Actually this radiobutton is the only on radiobutton on page, and it must be checked to let user make order. jquery dialog calls a server side method with button parameters

Hello all, I have a gridview control with delete asp:ImageButton for each row of the grid. What I would like is for a jquery dialog to pop up when a user clicks the delete button to ask if they are sure they want to delete it. So far I have the dialog coming up just fine, Ive got buttons on that dialog and I can make the buttons call server side methods but its getting the dialog to know the ID of the row that the user has selected and then passing that to the server side code. The button in the page row is currently just an 'a' tag with the id 'dialog_link'. So, I've been doing android application tutorials and everytime I create a package, for example the helloAndroid tutorial is com.example.android. When it saves this to src it creates a folder for com, another for example and one last one for android. Why are button sizes on Eclipse vs Device not the same.

O.k....this is weird. I had my buttons looking fine last week, now something has changed. My buttons on the eclipse emulator are much larger than on my device (Droid 2.1). I checked my skin settings, screen size permissions, density factors....what am I missing? My skin is set to WVGA854, but when the app goes to the phone the buttons are smaller!? Text and pictures are fine...looking the same as the emulator...just the buttons are shrunk! Hmm....I know it has to be something simple...:)

Button not moving on my interface

First before I say anything I want to announce that i'm fairly new to this kind of stuff so don't get all super techie on me :D ! Ok so i'm making an app and i'm trying to get a button to move to certain coordinates depending on the screen size of the phone (4, 4S, 5, etc...). I have correct syntax but the button will not move at all. hi, I'm passing data to a ListView to display some restaurant names. Now when clicking on an item I'd like to start another activity to display more restaurant data. I'm not sure about how to do it. Shall I pass all the restaurant data in a bundle through the intent object? Or shall I just pass the restaurant id and get the data in the other activity? In that case, how can I access my restaurantList from the other activity? In any case, how can I get data from the restaurant I clicked on (the view only contains the name)? Android: Stopping method to be called twice if already running.

I'm trying to prevent my application to call the same method twice in the event of a double-click, or if the user presses different buttons quickly, almost at the same time. I have clickable Views, acting as buttons, that call the same method but passing different parameters. This is the call: startTheSearch(context, getState(), what, where); Inside this method I'm creating a new Thread, because it queries a web server for the result: new Thread(new Runnable() { public void run() { progDiag = ProgressDialog.show(ctx, null, "Searching", true); getServerXML(context, what, where, searchIsCustom, mOffset); handler.sendEmptyMessage(0); } }).start(); The problem is that upon two quick clicks, the method is fired twice, two threads are created, and consequently two new activities are created. That makes my app crash. [Need help]: Issue with submit button and html file input control’s Click() method

Scenario: On click of a button, we dynamically create html file input (file upload) control on the page and call that file input controls Click() method. User then selects the file from the disk. There is a “Submit” button to upload the selected file. Problem: The problem is, when clicked on “Submit” button first time, the input value from the file input control is cleared. And the request does not go to the server. When clicked second time, the request goes to server with empty file input value. Why the first click on submit button does not send the request to server. And why it clears the file input control value? Note: The issue is observed only when we call Click() method programmatically. If we let user to click browse, then in that case, the "Submit" does not clear the input value and sends request to server on first click itself. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. By the way, server side code is in asp.net and client side in java script, testing on IE. -Somesh

Can SQLite file copied successfully on the data folder of an unrooted android device ?

I know that in order to access the data folder on the device, it needs to be rooted. However, if I just want to copy the database from my assets folder to the data folder on my device, will the copying process works on an unrooted phone? The following is my Database Helper class. From logcat, I can verify that the methods call to copyDataBase(), createDataBase() and openDataBase() are returned successfully. However, I got this error message android.database.sqlite.SQLiteException: no such table: TABLE_NAME: when my application is executing rawQuery. I'm suspecting the database file is not copied successfully (cannot be too sure as I do not have access to data folder), yet the method call to copyDatabase() are not throwing any exception. What could it be? onDateSet does not get called from DatePickerDialog on tablet

I am using a DatePickerDialog to prompt the user for a date. It works fine in the simulator and on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus, but onDateSet does not get called on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. I noticed, that the dialog is bigger and shows a calendar besides the normal spin view. Can that be the problem? Simplemodal: four times on a page leads to extra "next" or "previous" button

We are experiencing a problem with each instance of the call to the simplemodal div class .basic-modal-content adding an extra next or previous button in the modal windows. We are using simplemodal in four places on a page using a common JS in the container (provided below) and a common CSS format for the modal windows. In one area we are using six "statements" in a window with a next and previous button. I would include a picture of the modal window but it's being disallowed by the system as I'm a first time poster to this forum. In the other three areas we are using three "biographies" in a similar window with the ability to see each of the three bios from each of modal windows. The modal windows allow one to browse through all three of the BIOs. The bios use the SAME CSS style windows and a custom image in each of the modal windows derived from the "#modal_[number] img" CSS in the form of a portrait. Everything is working well except one thing: the first six windows have an extra next button that leads to an image of the close widow button only. Similarly, the BIOs pages have extra previous button that leads to the same "close button only" shown above. We want to maintain the same base CSS for the modal windows for this page. We want to keep the JS simple. The only behavior that is bad is the extra previous and next bottons that appear to be spurious. So is this a fix to the JS? Or do I have the instances of the modal windows too entangled? Perhaps there is a better method for having multiple instances of a simplemodal window on the same page? Or is the problem the "#" variable being common to each of the uses of the JS? Thanks in advance. DDF

My very Big question is "How can we access the single view in scrollstatechanged parameter AbsListView? " what is the problem in it? how to do it better? Any Idea?
