• Is is possible to hide label colors in list view in Mac OS 10.X Finder? I use labels as star ratings

  I have modified the first five label names in OS X Lion to be ? through ?????. This way I can easily tag photos etc. in the finder. However, I find that Apple's rendering of the colored bars is horrendously ugly. I'd like to keep the labels (to be able to sort by label) but not see the colors. I know it was possible to change the colors with Label X, but Unsanity has not issued an update for Lion. I don't need to change the colors, just find a way to hide them in the finder.

  I want to create a query to list of all user defined stored procedures, excluding the ones that are system stored procedures, considering that: Checking the name like "sp_" doesn't work because there are user stored procedures that start with "sp_". Checking the property is_ms_shipped doesn't work because there are system stored procedures that have that flag = 0, for example: sp_alterdiagram (it is not MSShipped but appears under System Stored Procedures in SQL Server Management Studio). There must be a property, or a flag somewhere since you can see the "System Stored Procedures" in a separate folder in SQL 2005. Does anyone know?   Apologies for the rather vague nature of this question, I've never been taught programming and Google is rather useless to a self-help guy like me in this case as the key words are pretty ambiguous. I am writing a couple of functions that encode and decode a list of options into a Long so they can easily be passed around the application, you know this kind of thing: 1 - Apple 2 - Orange 4 - Banana 8 - Plum etc. In this case the number 11 would represent Apple, Orange & Plum. I've got it working but I see this used all the time so assume there is a common name for the technique, and no doubt all sorts of best practice and clever algorithms that are at the moment just out of my reach.

  There is a 2d array of items (in my case they are called Intersections). A certain item is given as a start. The task is to find all items directly or indirectly connected to this item that satisfy a certain function. So the basic algorithm is like this: Add the start to the result list. Repeat until no modification: Add each item in the array that satisfies the function and touches any item in the result list to the result list. Example 2: .A.. ..BB A.AA This time there are 4 groups. The 3 A groups are not connected, so they are returned as separate groups. The bigger A and B groups are connected, but A does not related to B so they are returned as separate groups.

Before I was using $('UL LI').click(function(){ $(this).next().slideToggle(); }); ...but this obviously causes a problem when a li doesn't have a ul nested after it. Is there a better way to do this, or is there a way for me to determine if the object returned by $(this).next() is a UL?

  I have translated the MailChimp provided MailChimp List Subscribe Form plugin for wordpress. I used poEdit to edit. At wp-config.php I have language set as ar_SA. Which works for the themes I have used in two Bilingual sites. But the mo file had to be renamed to ar.mo I got two problems: While updating the catalog poEdit crashes. But I could save the .po and generated .mo successfully. The translated .mo doesn't appear for the confirmation success or error messages through the Ajax calls which its supposed to. However, if I explicitly apply this function to the individual elements, it works... I want a list of all the elements in my string list that are accepted by at least one of the filters. Is it safe to place this call in the ctor list: foo::foo() : Angle(random(0xFFFF)) {...} or do I have to do it in the body of the constructor? foo::foo() { Angle = Angle(random(0xFFFF)); ...} If it matters, the foo class is derived from another class and does have virtual methods. In addition, no exception handling is allowed in our app.

  We've created a pretty standard issue tracking system based off of SharePoint's template with just a few extra columns. On the list view (AllItems.aspx), the first column is called "Issue ID" and has a number. Our developers and QC use that number in discussions. However, that number doesn't seem to want to show up on the detail form (DispForm.aspx) nor in the alert email. Can this field be included in at least one of these communication methods? If so, how? • Get a list of Android phone contacts only on Eclair and above?

  I want to show the user a flattened pick list of all their contacts phone numbers and it must work from versions 1.6 up. I have read the related questions on SO and the Android documentation for Eclair (http://developer.android.com/resources/articles/contacts.html#legacy). The problem is, even splitting my code into a factory class and specific implementations does not work for me because using Contacts.CONTENT_URI only shows contacts not individual numbers. What I need is this for version 1.6 Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_PICK, Phones.CONTENT_URI); startActivityForResult(intent, REQUEST_PICK_CONTACT); And the equivalent for 2.0 and above. Even if I get their example to work, by building against the 2.1 API am I not stopping my app being visible on the Market to users with earlier versions of the OS? I can't launch it against a 1.6 emulator, for example.

  Yesterday, I was designing a Java class which I wanted to be initalized with Lists of various generic types: TheClass(List<String> list) { ... } TheClass(List<OtherType> list) { ... } This will not compile, as the constructors have the same erasure. I just went with factory methods differentiated by their names instead: public static TheClass createWithStrings(List<String> list) public static TheClass createWithOtherTypes(List<OtherType> list) This is less than optimal, as there isn't a single obvious location where all the different options for creating instances are available. I tried to search for better design ideas, but found surprisingly few results. What other patterns exist for designing around this problem?

  One of my site is hosted on windows azure and when azure restart site from manage windows azure panel. then it take old version dll and site is down until we restart the site by deploying global.asax or change in web.config to restart the site. after deployment of global.asax or change in web.config site is restart and then it work perfectly and take latest dll. so if any issues with my code then it should not work after the restart by deploying global.asax file so i think issues is not from code side. Error like "Could not load type 'DSF.DATA.Repository.RecurringOrderLogResposity' from 'DSF.DATA Version 1.0.0" I am just deploying changed dll using FTP & site restart and take effect successfully I have already resolve this error and uploaded latest dll too but when site restart from azure panel it back and then site down until i restart the site by deploying global.asax file so i think issues is not from code side. please please help I am in big trouble as my site is live site and there are lot of traffic Thanks Vipul

  Hi all, I have a class Task(models.Model), and i didn't define id field explicitly (since it defines automatically for you). I checked in the database, it exists for the Task. Now i would like to display it in the list via list_display property in admin.ModelAdmin. I have a bunch of things in there, only id is not showing up for any of the rows i have. All Class2 instances should be grouped together at the place that the first Class2 occurs.   I am looking for T-SQL code to list all tables in all databases in SQL Server (at least in SS2005 and SS2008; would be nice to also apply to SS2000). The catch, however, is that I would like a single result set. This precludes the otherwise excellent answer from Pinal Dave: sp_msforeachdb 'select "?" AS db, * from [?].sys.tables' The above stored proc generates one result set per database, which is fine if you are in an IDE like SSMS that can display multiple result sets. However, I want a single result set because I want a query that is essentially a "find" tool: if I add a clause like WHERE tablename like '%accounts' then it would tell me where to find my BillAccounts, ClientAccounts, and VendorAccounts tables regardless of which database they reside in.
